NOW THIS IS REAL VEGAN PIZZA!!! Guys, I have found the New Jersey holy grails of pizza! I am super excited to have stumbled across this pizza spot in Rahway. The service was immaculate & the vegan options were amazing! The fact that the pepperoni vegan pizza & garlic knots tasted like they were made with love & specifically just for me is mind boggling. The vegan cheese was perfectly melted & the personal size / crust were so tasty. The garlic knots were warmed to perfection & served with a yummy marinara that was finger licking good!! I had the pleasure to meet the owner which was the sweetest & very informative when it came to the food options. The scenery was the cutest. A mixture of greenery & old school comfy seating with wall art frames that were perfect for the eatery ambience. The restroom literally had a homey feel & was super clean along with the rest of the establishment. Do yourself, your kids, your family & friends the favor of stopping by here. You won't regret it! Moving from NY, we were worried we weren't gunna find good slice, boy were we wrong. This pizza was surprisingly very very good. Their prices are a bit steep for side stuff and extras but I'll pick this place over Nancy's Townhouse (that got over an 8+ rating from Barstools) any day. I ordered chicken parm with penne vodka in vodka sauce & a order of stuffed shells. The food was covered in garlic, to the point it burned my mouth. Stuffed shells were dry and the sauce was watery. It came with garlic bread - they just took bread and out CHUNKS of garlic on it. Waste of money and do not recommend. read more

I don't know why this place doesn't have 5 stars. My husband and I never ate inside but always do take out. Every time we call they are always courteous on the phone and double checks the order. Our order is always delicious, hot and on time! What more do you want from a pizzeria? We love to get 2 personal size pies and garlic knots! Our recent favor is pepperoni peppers and white cheese with spinach. Love this local spot!!! So glad we have this pizzeria in the neighborhood!! read more

On my first night in town my coworker and I visited this spot by accident - it was a Monday and many other options were closed. Ryan spoiled us and entertained us on our visit. We first shared a huge slice of pizza with a crispy crust. My coworker was very hungry and downed some steamy bread knots, a slice of very garlicky bread, and an order of manicotti. I tried a mini cannoli which was yummy. We really appreciated the service (and the show) especially after the busy day we had. read more

Oh my god I love this pizzeria I went with my boyfriend gabriel and with my dog and I wasn't sure if they would've allowed my dog in. I went in with my boyfriend to eat and soon as we were done eating the owner of the restaurant was so friendly and nice to us and they ALLOW dogs in the pizzeria. The food is so good!! read more

Solid pizza place. As a pizza pro I was a bit hesitant having read the reviews. I wasn't in town for long so I wanted to make sure wherever I got my pizza that it was worth it. And it was! I had to wait about five minutes as there was a line at lunchtime but that's a good sign. Then they heated up my two slices which can either be really good or really bad. It was really good here so if you're looking for a quick slice they got you. There were quite a few people actually eating in there. Also a good sign! I got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese to go (gotta stock up seeing as there are zero food options at the Watt Hotel across the street where I was staying!) I was pleasantly surprised with my first slice when it was hot and delicious. I mean it was REALLY good and had the perfect proportion of ingredients. My cold slice of cheese later on in the day wasn't as tasty. So I recommend eating their pizza right when you get it. If I lived nearby I'd have probably heated up the cheese slice in my cast iron and it would have been better. My only major complaint is that if you're getting pizza to go they simply put it on a paper plate and stuff it in a paper bag (think the 40oz version of a slice of pizza). This can lead to serious sogginess. A foil tent on top might help. Overall, I really enjoyed their pizza and will be back next time I'm in town! read more

I am sick & weak at home on chemo for terminal brain cancer, my husband was in Rahway for work, so I asked if I could order it would he pick it up for dinner for us. I got penne vodka with chicken with an orange Fanta, he got chicken parm sub. Well my soda wasn't with our order, which I told the gentleman when I ordered my husband didn't have his cell phone on him and I couldn't ask him to get it for me so please just put it into the order. He agreed to. I get my first serving and it's fine. Everything I wanted. Then, second serving not so fine. I'm eating a fork full of noodles and I feel this scraping on the roof of my mouth and my tongue, I get it out into my fingers and show my husband. He tells me to call. I asked for the receipt but as a creature of habit he had thrown it out already. I call and ask for record of my receipt he asks why and I tell him what I had found in my food, he places me on a hold and "the sustainer service supervisor" answered and I told him what I had found. He offered another meal, I said I am doing chemo and can't leave to go get it we only got it earlier because my hubs was in the area. They don't even offer to deliver it. So I'm mad by now. "I'll make you another order. You come and get it. "I don't really want to eat your food after this."well that's all I can do". No, you definitely could have refunded my money. Also I get mri's a lot, if that had gotten lodged somewhere and I went in for a scan, it could have done SO much damage. I grew up on Michelino's in Elizabeth. my family would hog the pool table and dart board, spend hundreds of dollars in a night. Foods, drinks, tips. So I decided to walk my dog yesterday before picking up my pie that I ordered from michelino's which clearly turned out to be a dreadful experience. I walked in the restaurant with my dog only to find out if my order was ready, immediately the blonde guy behind the counter tells me the dog cannot be in the restaurant then he ignores my question and picks up a phone call. I placed my dog outside the door while still holding the leash through the door. During his call another patron walks in, he finishes his call then proceeds to take her order as if I wasn't standing there the whole time. I patiently waited for them to finish and kindly asked him about my order again! Only for him to respond " my dog can't be in the store" which he wasn't because I removed him the moment he mentioned it. Pizza is still a bargain meal compared to others, but you're dropping a cool $13 for a standard 16" pie + $2.75 per topping. Yes I am willing to pay for quality and food, but a single pizza nearing the $20 mark (sausage and peppers, pepperoni and onions, olives and mushrooms - I'm a combination type girl) makes me frown. Cheese fries are cheeseylicious. Eggplant parm is a bit greasy and more like a vegetarian late night drinking food then meat alternative dinner. Service is friendly enough, and there 7 large-ish and 2 two-seater booths. I come. I eat. I am satisfied.
