I'm so glad my family and I finally got to taste Michell's ice cream. I can't even remember how I learned of this place but it's been on my radar of places to try, especially being someone of West Indian ancestry. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and enthusiastically by Michell, the owner. He was so sweet and gave us a rundown of the unique flavors. His staff were very friendly and provided great service as well. I tried the roasted corn ice cream. Definitely a novelty but tasty nonetheless. Members of my family also tried the sorrel, soursop, guava, pineapple, and coconut flavors. Their feedback was that the sorrel and guava were a little more subtle but the pineapple and soursop were really nice. I also took a little taste of the coconut and that was a standout for sure -- sweet, creamy, and very coconutty. We ended up visiting three times and each visit was just as wonderful as the last. The flavors are incredibly unique and heavenly. You can tell a lot of creativity and care goes into each batch, and it was so much fun trying something new every time. The Sand Dollar flavor was hands down my favorite. I had to come and try the local icecream shop. They have so many different flavors. From classic, tropical and coffee flavors. The gentleman that was helping us was very friendly and informative. He had no problem explaining what was what and our options there. We tried the waffle cones with 2 scoops. My son got his favorite flavor, strawberry. My daughter got the mocha almond fudge. And I got 2 different flavors the 1st was their antiguan black pineapple and their tropical guava. The antiguan black pineapple is not black in color don't let the name fool you. It was very delicious like a tangy pineapple and the guava tasted like sweet guava. For me my favorites. Both my children said they enjoyed their icecream. I would 100% recommend if your craving some icecream. I will visit again. read more

Everything about this place is wonderful from The ice cream, decor, and ownership. There are a ton of selections of ice cream made fresh in the shop. They have a selection of boozy ice creams as well. Not only do they have the traditional flavors everyone loves, but they have amazing-tasting unique flavors like corn with cinnamon and grape nuts. We had the dark wood flavor which was wrapped in a marshmallow ribbon and graham crackers. Every single ice cream flavor was creamy and velvety. The owner was so welcoming and shared the story behind the name of the store and decor. You can tell the owner has passion and pride in the product being served. The store has a cute Caribbean vibe with a floral photo wall. This is honestly one of the better ice cream shops I have visited... not to mention reasonably priced. I'm from out of state and so sad I found this place on my last day. There are so many flavors to choose from (both classic and VERY interesting) and the prices are VERY reasonable for this caliber of ice cream. We bought the flight which was $11 and comes with 4 scoops. If you have a group with a variety of tastes (and anyone picky) it's great; the flavors don't touch and I love that hahaha they let you sample. My favorite was the Key Lime Pie ice cream -- TO DIE FOR!! Seriously, they're so kind in here and the decor is lovely. You can tell this place is someone's dream, as it is just carefully decorated and curated. I absolutely recommend supporting this small local business.
