I want to start by saying that the ice cream here is so amazing that no matter what, I'll keep coming back because it's the best I've ever had. I dislike coming in here because the kids are so rude, and maybe she's the owner--I don't know--but she's a bit condescending and rude too. I just ignore it and want to get my ice cream and leave. Today, I bought $33 worth of ice cream. When I asked for my stamp punch card, it looked like the girl went to the back to talk about me and my kids to the other girl sitting there. Then, the other girl came out to look at me. . I just spent a lot of money on ice cream, but I got so fed up realize that these are kids and have the memory of a gold fish, that I walked out, forgetting to want to ask for the 2nd time for my damn stamp card. This isn't the type of parlor where you want to sit down with your family and enjoy it. This is the place where you get your ice cream to gooutside It's not inviting. . It just is what it is. but besides my terrible review about this place this is the number one ice cream. I will drive from Orlando to this ice cream parlor over and over and deal with these people and walk out by $30 worth of ice cream with no stamp card almost half the time. Why do I always have to ask for my Stamp card!?!?! I tipped 4 bucks, I couldn't stand to give her 8 when I could tell she was talking about me. read more

Soft, creamy, and delicious. It was the perfect ratio of toppings to custard, all throughout the sundae. Service was cordial and fast. And it's an old school feel setting. When traveling to this side of town, stopping here for a treat is a new must. read more

I always tip 20% at every place I've eaten. I think the people working in service deserve it. However, this time I was charged almost 30% tip, which I considered a lot, without my consent. It wasn't until I received the bill in my email that I realized. I wasn't given the option to choose the tip. Just disgraceful service. Sadly, although they have good ice cream, I don't recommend coming to this place. read more

The custard is super creamy which I loved. I got an Oreo glacier. I really liked the flavor, but it needed to be crushed up and mixed much better. There were a few huge chunks of Oreo, and then more than half of it was just regular vanilla custard. I like when it's spread a bit more evenly so you're getting that cookies and cream flavor in almost every bite. read more

Yummy, yum, yum frozen custard!! We had a great dinner and really wanted a delicious sweet dessert to follow and I've been eyeing this place for the longest so here we are! Ok, I was very excited to discover this place because usually non big chain joints have delicious eats. Was this a disappointment? Not at all. 3 stars just because it is very average but that's not bad! There just wasn't something that sets this place apart but the frozen custard was very delicious and the staff was super nice! So they have rotational flavors since I asked if they have peanut butter and they only had peanut butter with chocolate, which I ended up getting along with chocolate. It was very delicious and I enjoyed it very much. Price wise, I would say this is not too pricey but it is pricey. A small bowl with two flavors and a cone with two flavors with tip was almost $25. This will be a once in a while something different type of dessert place to go to. read more

I'm going to try and be as objective as possible with my review because I know the franchise owner! This Ritter's is a great location and has been around Clermont since I was in Highschool. They have serviced the community and the city of Clermont for a while and are constantly engaging in service events and community forums. It also helps that the Ice Cream is bomb as well! I personally love going and getting a Glacier with Oreos and Reeses. Although it doesn't have the same "Blizzard Upside Down trick" they are just as good! The prices are not bad at all and other than glaciers, they have a range of other flavors. If you don't see a flavor you like or want, you can call ahead and request another flavor and they will usually have it for the next time you go in. They also have Sundays, cakes and other assorted desert items. Even in this crazy time, they are still open and have a walk in counter that way you can be served. Definitely a great local business with great product! read more

As soon as I took the first bite my heart broke into a thousand pieces. What a disappointment! We ordered the Brownie Sundae and this dessert did not earn that name. There wasn't any brownies in the Sundae, The hot fudge was not hot and it was not fudge it was chocolate syrup. Thought I'd stop in with family today on Valentine's Day for some custard. I never tried this place but heard good things about the custards. Management apparently sucks here if they can't even serve the options available on their menu. They have like 7 custard flavors out of the 20+ they advertise. I hope heaven smells like the inside of Ritters. (If it doesn't then I will file a complaint with the main office.) I come here usually once a month or more depending on whether someone is having a birthday... or graduation... or anniversary... or half-birthday (you get the idea). The custard flavors vary with the regular chocolate, vanilla, SF vanilla being the constants. The prices are reasonable and if you sign up for their email club you receive coupons, offers and notifications of new flavors. The service is always super friendly and very efficient. My only criticism is the price was a wee bit steep based on portion and toppings. Other than that taste was great, well my wife didn't love the cookie dough.
