What's not to like! Old fashioned delicious ice cream. We stopped with my kid and in-laws. I didn't have any ice cream but my kid and in-laws did and they really enjoyed what they had. As someone that is married to a person who is lactose intolerant and at time I've had to avoid dairy due to breastfeeding, I did appreciate that they have non-dairy options. Went here after the theater to get ice cream. The line was loooong. You order outside at a window and you are handed the cone through the window. I probably waited about 20 minutes before I ordered. Once I ordered, I got my cone quickly. I got a double scoop coffee ice cream cone and it was delicious. It's difficult to find coffee ice cream in Florida so that was exciting. And of course they bring in the seasonal flavors (like pumpkin and egg nog for Christmas) depending on the time of year. There are at least 20 different flavors, including sugar free and sorbet. My favorite flavor is the graham central station. It's a cinnamon based ice cream with pieces of chocolate and graham cracker crumbs. Absolutely delicious. I also really like their coffee cookies and cream. It's a fun play of cookies and cream with giant Oreo pieces and a coffee ice cream base. It's great to get a cup or cone and walk around downtown Winter Garden. Super inexpensive and makes for a relaxing, and super sweet, end to the night. read more

The historic building, retro furniture, and decor all contribute to the feeling of stepping back to 1927. The friendly service also harkens back to a bygone era. But of course, it's all about the ice cream, and that will not disappoint. There are dozens of interesting flavors such as birthday cake, plus classics like butter pecan and pistachio. I chose the Cappucino Crunch, and it was superb. I'd never heard of Hershey's Ice Cream, but they've been around since 1894 (no relation to the candy company). I wish more places served it, as it is fantastic. You can also get soft serve with mix-ins, but I urge you to go for the real thing, and get a scoop at Scoops. read more

There are a lot of flavours to choose from, including but not limited to the usual flavours of Chocolate and Vanilla but things like Birthday Cake and a chocolate raspberry mix that looked deliciously decadent. My friend and I opted for the soft serve, she got vanilla and I went for the swirl. The seats outside were taken, but there as plenty of seating inside. The price for our 2 soft serve ice creams was $5. Completely reasonable! And it was quite tasty. Only one suggestion? Put something - a marshmallow, perhaps? At the bottom of the waffle cones to stop premature drips. We will be back, that's a given. read more
