I seriously don't know why it took us so long to get here... People posted about this place in our neighborhood page a bunch of times so tonight when we were in the area we dropped in. First, when you walk in the cookie smell hits you like a freight train. Bottle that and inject it into my veins, it's AMAZING. We decided to get a Continental and Oatis, and I got the S'lemons cookies and my husband got an apple cheesecake. The Continental cookie is delightful. I popped it into the microwave for ten seconds because we waited a little bit and I'm a firm believer that cookies should be eaten warm, and the textures in this cookie are outstanding. LOVED the caramel and the little crunch of the Heath. My husband said the cheesecake wasn't a strong apple flavor but it was a super rich cheesecake. He ate it all in one sitting which he never does, so two thumbs up! We will for sure be regulars from now on! read more

Has to be the freshest and Best tasting cookies I've ever eaten. 90% of the time they are still warm when I buy them. With the food/deserts standing on their own, and the people that work there are amazing they make you feel like you have known them all your life. They are friendly, and they really care. Stopped in yesterday as I was exploring the shops in the plaza. This has got to be one of my best experiences shopping in Clermont. From the moment I walked in the door it was a loving and welcoming feeling. I explained it was my first time there and spent the next five minutes getting a complete run down of the cookies available, what was in each cookie and being introduced to the brownie and cheesecakes. You can absolutely tell they care about their customers and customer service. On top of that exceptional service and delicious desserts the business was designed to the "T". Sweet Cups Chef is located in The Downtown Exchange. They have several flavors of cheesecake that are cooked in a water bath using single serving 8 ounce wide mouth mason jars. The crust that usually comes with a cheesecake is replaced with a teaspoon or so of crushed graham crackers that accompany the cheesecake in a separate small plastic cup. I decided not to sprinkle the crumbs on the cheesecake that I sampled and didn't think that it needed it. The cheesecake was very smooth and creamy. It taste good but it is very small portion and pricey. It costs $7.00 with tax for about 4 to 5 ounces of cheesecake. read more

Was looking for a new dessert place and happened to find this little gem. The directions on yelp aren't exactly right so if you're traveling north on US 27 from clermont it will be on your left by Napoli's pizza. Anyway, so glad we finally found it. The most difficult thing about this place is which dessert to choose. Took us quite a while to choose. Settled on two cheesecakes and a sundae. Took 3 cookies to go. Everything was fresh and scrumptious. We were so happy with our choices. I think the best part of our visit was the friendliness of the staff. Frank and Amy were incredibly welcoming and took a lot of time to explain all their options. They treated us like businesses should all treat their customers. Their desserts are enough to bring us back by themselves, but Frank and Amy were so welcoming that we'd be willing to go out of our way for some sweet cups. Go! You won't regret it! read more

My first visit was delicious! Very friendly and welcoming environment with entertaining decorations and a great explanation of the business' processes and offerings. We enjoyed the ice cream and floats and brought home cookies. Have only had one bite of the cookie, and I must say I liked it better than the cookies I have had from Crumble Cookies or from The cookie store at Disney Springs. We will be back. read more

After seeing some videos and pictures on Instagram about cheesecakes in 8oz mason jars, I was ready to get a taste for myself! In downtown Clermont within the downtown exchange! There is a small menu for the flavors, but you may have trouble deciding on which flavors you'd like because each flavor sounds delicious! The menu does change so there will be different flavors available to you. My go-tos' have been the cereal killer-cinnamon crunch, the cookie butter crumbles, and the RIZ cup! Each jar comes with additional ingredients to add to the cheesecake, and a spoon to stir it up! You definitely get your sweet tooth soothed here! DISNEY COOKIES!!!! (Well, Joffrey's, but you know what I'm saying)...Right here at home. I went today and got almost every cookie they have all over the parks. They are DELICIOUS and seriously made with love. I know, because I talked with Frank and Amy for about an hour about their homemade passion of making amazing sweets and a family of friends. I mean you can't go in and not have an amazing conversation with either of them at any given time. Just good people and a business that I'm proud to have in our backyard. The service is impeccable, got to order the big rizz cookie filled with peanut butter and oreos, which was fantastic, I was in cookie bliss. Individual working walked us through their many ice cream offerings (all of which are Hershey's ice cream). They also have a small selection of in-house made truffles and other candies. I opted for a simple caramel which they make a batch once a week to include in their candies and hand roll and found it to be simply delicious! I opted for a single scoop of the banana pudding ice cream and it was exceptional! Just like i remember getting as a child! They do have their own parking lot in front and there is available parking on the street next to the park.

However, when I called today to make the same request, I was told it was no longer possible because the cakes now come pre-made? If that's true, it's disappointing to hear Crumbl has moved away from making their own cakes fresh. But what bothered me more was the dismissive attitude I received. The person I spoke to apparently seemed unwilling to offer any kind of help or workaround, even though this has been done before.
