Lucy is extremely thorough, detailed and transparent in all of her emails and texts, and went out of her way to explain everything that I had questions about in depth. Lucy has truly mastered the craft of wedding hair and makeup - she was able to deliver the exact look I wanted even though I am not the most well versed in makeup and don't usually do anything with my hair. Lucy is an amazing HMUA - knowledgeable, skilled, professional, and she goes above and beyond (but her pricing is reasonable for the quality of her services). I'm so glad I chose her for my wedding day hair and makeup. Lucy really listens to you. I don't ever do my makeup, so I wanted a natural look - just flawless skin and a little pink to the lids and lips. I had redness on my forehead and chin (which multiple family members were worried about) from a peel a few weeks prior, but nobody could tell after the makeup. Lucy made multiple adjustments to my makeup to get it perfect. She even bought a bunch of short, natural-looking false lashes just for me to choose from. My hair was also exactly what I wanted. Lucy also filled in my husband's eyebrows and applied BB cream and powder with very little notice. We went overtime because I had multiple interruptions from last-minute wedding issues, and she was so patient and polite throughout. She stayed later than originally planned so I could have my photo taken without my veil before she placed it for me. My hair and makeup looked flawless throughout the night. I was worried, but the veil did not budge when I was dancing. I later took off the veil, and my hair stayed in place through more dancing. If I could give a 10 star review I absolutely would but Yelp only allows 5 stars.‍ I hired Lucy to do wedding day makeup for myself and the bridesmaids. She showed up early, went over everything we had planned, set up, and did her magic. She was so calm, efficient, and detail oriented that she made the job look effortless and made myself and the bridesmaids look flawless. As I was getting ready and taking pictures my mother kissed my cheek and got lipstick on me. My eyes got really big and panic began to set in. Lucy saw this happen and she immediately jumped in to reassure me that everything is good and she can fix my makeup in no time. Fast forward 5 minutes and Lucy has saved the day!!
