Prior to the pandemic, I was a 'regular' for several years at a weekly class that Michelle offered at a local yoga studio. Since the pandemic, she has offered a variety of online classes including Hatha Yoga, and Restorative Yoga. I typically take 2-3 classes a week and I love them (enough to change weekend plans to attend!) What she brings to her teachings are decades of experience and understanding of how yoga effects your physical, spiritual and emotional well being. She incorporates mindfulness practices into the classes. Her knowledge of anatomy and movement is evident in her clear instructions and suggested adaptations. She takes a great deal of pleasure in the subtle changes and well being of her students. I have preferred the Zoom classes to the in-person studio. For each class Michelle has the same experienced student on screen demonstrating her instructions. She monitors us on her screen and provides individual corrections and/or suggested modifications. Classes are suitable for all age ranges and ability. If I could give Michelle 10 stars, I would- her energy, personality, and authentic love of yoga make her classes a truly valuable part of my day. read more

I love Michelle. She is such an amazing Yoga instructor. For the past year I have been doing Michelle's zoom classes 4 times a week and have become so strong and have developed an amazing awareness of my body. Every 2 months when I'm in LA I take private classes from her. Her ability to access an individual needs wether I'm on zoom or in person is what makes her standout. As a kid I was competitive skier and now with my new found confidence at 64 I will be trying out for the Senior National Ski team. For the eight years I've been practicing yoga I've taken vinyasa, Iyengar, restorative and blend classes with many teachers all over LA, Northern California, Florida, the UK and even Denmark. I mention all this because Michelle stands in my mind in a class all by herself. Her intuition, knowledge and experience provides everyone in the room with personalized attention, making the class equally valuable and enjoyable to advanced yogi/nis practicing next to complete beginners. I have taken yoga from Michelle for over 10 years and she is unparalleled. I had a spinal fusion and through her care I am pain free and have full mobility. She knows anatomy as well as any doctor, and keeps her practice fresh and evolving so you are never bored. And really important to me, she is the rare teacher that is always scanning the room and checking on everyone's alignment and poses. She is present and is always watching and offering correction to everyone in the room. I've taken far too many yoga classes where the teacher performs her routine robotically and offers zero assistance. If you are in Malibu and want to get your yoga on you must take a class. I Just spent a week on a Yoga Retreat with Michelle in Maui. The transformation was amazing break throughs everyday. Its more then just asana practice we explored all parts of yoga. We learned breathing techniques that i've never experienced. Each left us with an experience of energy which was intentionally directed towards each chakra. It was so special starting at the root and working up through the chakras feeling a release at each energy center was incredible to really be able to feel the differences and reap the benefits. Michelle's Yoga therapy is beyond what i thought yoga was and could offer. I'm so grateful for this experience and i highly recommend it to anyone who has a chance to have Michelle in their life.
