She asks meaningful questions, manages your expectations, and then gives you what you want. When I told her I wanted my hair as blonde as possible without turning it into straw, she gave it to me. You get one appointment a month for $10 less than the regular price, and get a discount on additional blowouts too and a few other perks. (There is also a Double Barfly which gives you two $10 discounted blowouts per month). I think I have had a different stylist each time I have been here, but they are all good. They ask questions about what you are wanting and you can select from a menu of styles. Free drinks and movies to watch also. Most of the time my hair looks good for nearly a week afterwards so it's been worth while. Easy to make appointments online (they have an app too, which I haven't tried yet, but intend to). You do have to provide a credit card for the cancelation policy but that is fair.

Instead it ended up taking over an hour and 30 minutes and I was almost late to my photo shoot. The hairdresser put so much product in my hair it didn't hold more than 2 hours! It looked awful. The blowout itself was terrible and she kept trying to fix it with a curling iron. I spent a ton of money and wasted my time when I could have made my hair look much better myself. I had to wash my hair after 2 hours and redo it myself for another event I had that night. Thankfully I got my money refunded, but I would still never go back. The hairdressers are so inexperienced.
