The scalp massage and hair treatment I received from Naomi S. felt like a therapeutic session that melted away all stress. She truly has an expert understanding of the exact pressure points needed to relieve tension. I loved every part of the experience from the aromatherapy in the hair masks to the special shower head, steam, massage techniques, and warm towels. The treatment room itself is incredibly comfortable, quiet, and peaceful, making it easy to fully disconnect from the outside world. They also provide a before-and-after scalp analysis, and the difference was night and day. Mayumi N. worked with my mom, whose scalp was noticeably red and irritated beforehand. Scheduling with independent lash technicians became difficult for me because of scheduling conflict. They're open everyday. When we started, she got frustrated and told me that my eye kept twitching. I told her it was because I felt a burning sensation and also felt like the tape was poking my eye. She offered the sensitive glue which i agreed to but I feel like she got really upset based on her tone. She asked me if I had drunk coffee, which I had. In the past, it never became an issue so serious. She kept claiming, in a slightly rude tone, that I felt burning because my eye kept twitching, but she never tried to fully tape my eye shut. The entire time, I felt burning and discomfort in my left eye, and every time she moved my lashes around, it hurt. I have never had that happen before, so I was really scared that it might lead to an infection or something. This morning, I woke up with the bottom of my eye red and my eyes still feeling a bit irritated. Right now, I regret getting them done there, and I'm hoping it's not something serious like an infection.

I looked into eyelash extensions, but stumped upon lash lift, and found Tori in Yelp! The process is a little long, about an hour. She takes cash only. There's a convenience store a block away from her that has an ATM if you forget cash! Be sure to get directions for when you arrive. It's a bit tricky to find her place. She says the lash could stay curled for up to 12 weeks depending on what you do to them. Mine only looked good for a month max. The second month, most lashes straightened out, while a few stayed curled. By the end of the second month, all my lashes were straight again. I don't wear much makeup (only eyeliner) on a day-to-day basis. I wear mascara only on special occasions, which was 3 times during the those two months. I never wear fake eyelashes. I'm not sure why mine didn't last as long, but it was nice while it lasted. It's a little expensive for my lashes to look good for only a month. I see why people do it if they curl their eyelashes everyday. It definitely saves a lot of time. It was definitely nice to have, and I might do it again for another special occasion.
