In any event, our supervising chef was Ryan and he was great. Really energetic and helpful. There was plenty of work to do for all of us and the time went by quickly. When it came time to eat, we were all very hungry. I thought all the food was delicious. I was surprised at how generous the portions were, especially the dessert. Of course that didn't stop me from eating the whole thing. The paper recipes don't 100% follow what the instructor is telling you, so definitely pay attention as they are demonstrating each step. We made fruit tarts and madeleines in this class, but the dessert menu rotates, so you can check which one interests you before you book ahead of time! They walk you through some of the baking techniques and it's a great hands-on experience. Whatever you bake you can try on the spot and they provide takeout boxes and bags for you to take the rest home. Highly recommend if you're looking for a group activity in the city!
