Beef melts on your tongue and the marinade is slightly sweet and smoky. - Summer rolls: small portions but the flavor is there. So yum!!!! Top 3 thai spots for me. Food- Classic order of Pad Thai & Drunken Noodles. The pad thai noodles are a big thinner than i've had before but that didn't bother me, it has such great flavor too. I recommend ordering it spicy, it's the perfect heat if you're looking for that kick but don't add it if you can't handle spice. The drunken noodles are not spicy in my opinion but i can handle a bit of heat. Loved the flavor and the noodles had the right texture, could've done without the huge chunks of tomato but great otherwise. The summer rolls were good, hard to mess those up. I love this place! Starting out with the ambience, I thought it was very nice in here, but just keep in mind. It does get a little bit warm in the summer and I wish there was a little bit more air running. I got the khao sai and it definitely is a do not skip on the menu. Spring rolls were very fresh, wings are very flavorful. Mains, my babies had the Pho Bo, which they enjoyed. Wifey went with the fried rice main and I got the green curry chicken. That curry is really good I can't front. We had really good service from the wait staff. We got a side of beef, like short rib on the bone. We ultimately ended up ordering the Obao bun platter as a shared appetizer, which features grilled pork, shrimp, tofu, beef balls, crispy spring roll, vermicelli noodles,fresh vegetables, pickled carrot and radish, peanuts and nước châm sauce. Just an FYI, while "bun" is in the name, this dish has no buns [hun] - though you can make lettuce wraps. I really enjoyed this, had a wide array of food, all delicious. For my main, I ordered the Bo Luc Lac (seared diced New Zealand grass fed beef , onion, grape tomatoes and top with crispy shallots) - thought it was great, the beef was very tender and the flavors were on point. Came here on a Wednesday night to have a quick dinner before my broadway show. We didn't have a reservation but didn't have to wait long to be seated. When we sat down, we ordered immediately and had told our server that we have a show to catch so to please prioritize our order and to have everything come out asap. The spring roll, although small in portion, was crispy and packed with flavors. I enjoyed that very much. The Pho Bò was a disappointment. Although the broth was hearty and flavorful - but not the best I've had, the noodles were soggy and beef was overcooked and dry. The Bo Lúc lăc was worst. It was literally unmarinated beef stir fried in Maggie sauce. The quality of the beef wasn't very good and they were cut in small pieces which made it tough and dry. I actually make this at home a lot and I make it better. Overall, portion size is small and super overpriced for what you get. I've had better Pho in other local hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurants. You are basically paying for their decor and ambience although seats are also very tight.
