She had me pick an essential oil that she was going to use during the treatment. That was a fun little addition as I'm a big fan of essential oils, aromatherapy, and holistic skincare products. So before the treatment even started, I knew my skin would be in good hands I'm very familiar with facial massages and I think they're very beneficial for circulation, improving lymphatic flow, relieving muscle tension etc. It's one of my favorite parts of a facial. However, I've never had a buccal massage...where you open your mouth wide and they massage inside! This really relaxes and sculpts your jaw line, inside of cheeks, lips. etc. It might sound a little weird, but trust me...it felt AH-MAZING! I'm in sales...and I have to talk A LOT for my job. I didn't realize how tense my facial muscles were until they were in such a relaxed state. The whole experience was such a treat...from the multiple massages (including a foot massage...yes please!) to the high-end holistic/all natural skincare products used at Apotheke. After the treatment, Erica took a before/after photo to show me the results and I was shocked!
