I purchased 2 filters from Culligan of Ann Arbor/Detroit that they recommend be replaced annually…read morefor our Culligan RO system, for $168. Directly after properly installing them the system failed. Culligan's only answer was to provide a service call at a cost of $165! Read the reviews. This is common practice for Culligan, once a leader in the water treatment industry. The result; We were allowed to return the filters and were refunded for them. We replaced their RO system with Beauchamp's. The purchase experience was straight forward and entirely comfortable. The installer did an excellent job in all respects. We are perfectly happy with our new Beauchamp's system! Another benefit, their RO system replacement filters are substantially less expensive! Oh! We recently learned that several years ago when our Culligan system was initially installed and connected to our refrigerator's ice maker, the installer used the existing copper line as opposed to replacing it with a new line made of the proper material for RO systems. This negates the benefit of an RO system and is not healthy. So beware!

I have now been told that the extra charges from April in fact should have never been applied at all (minus the filter which is not covered in my rental plan). The company has now made it right by returning to me the extra money mistakenly charged to me in April (in the form of store credit for future rental bills).

THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I AGREED TO PURCHASE THEIR SOFTENER. The man I purchased from told me I was approved he had me sign something on his tablet and left. About 2 weeks later, they showed up to remove my old softener, because I called to complain they hadn't removed it, they handed me a piece of paper with the lending institutions name and said they would be calling to arrange payments. I then said to him "I still have 0% financing, right? His answer was "oh yeah, right" A couple days later, the lender called to discuss the payments on my 9% loan. She didn't know anything about a 0% rate. Called Leaf Home Water Solutions to ask what was going on and was told I didn't get approved for the 0% rate so they went with the other company. No call, no email, nothing to tell me that I wasn't approved. He said well "it says on the form you signed that if you're not approved for 0% they will go to a different company. Don't you read things before you sign them?" I'm 71 years old I guess I come from time when sales people explained things to you and were honest. And on top of their unethical financing practices, they sold me a unit that was actually too big to fit in my space, but the installer managed to squeeze it in. Lastly, their softened water feels no different from what we had. Our skin still itches. Not happy with this company at all!

I so wanted this to…read morework but I found out my warranty was voided because they installed this unit in my 15" pit which after installed realized it has to be 22". I kept getting alerts my water level was high then it would kick in and drain. Then I got high voltage alerts, then another that said undefined. Douglas was willing to honor my warranty but then in reading the paperwork I discovered it was not recommended using a generator with it. Another thing not disclosed to me. They didn't even realize it. Which why would they not know these things?? It is overly sensitive sending alerts over every thing. They did agree to remove it so I could get something else and return my money .... However when they came to pick up their sump pump they had no money to give me. After feeling lied to I did not give them their pump. I now have to return the pump to the office and then I get a check. I would have recommended their water conditioning but at this point I definitely don't trust them. This sump pump is apparently new to them and they have no knowledge of restrictions it has. I'm deeply disappointed this happened as the installers Connor and Wes were great and did their best to help. I definitely do NOT recommend this company at all especially their sump pump that they know nothing about. Call the manufacturer like I did. Every little thing voids the warranty.
