I walked in, started to put my name in the check-in, and a worker stopped me and directed me to one of the customer service guys. I explained what I had decided to do, he did it, told me to drop off the X1 when I could and that was that. Scheduled the change for today. Easiest experience I've had with cable. Update: I returned the X1 today and talked about the various streaming apps with Cameron. I told him the channels I want to eventually have/the ones I might actually miss (AMC, TNT, the networks, HBO) and my search for an indoor HD antenna worth anything (I can get Fox in the living room, ABC only in the spare bedroom - but wow those religious stations sure do come in crystal clear), and he told me about Xfinity's newish streaming app. Long story short: I still cut $65+ from my monthly bill but have my local networks and my AMC TNT thru the entertainment pack on the Xfinity streaming app that I access through my Roku. He was extremely helpful and, again, I had no wait. I highly recommend this location.

When returning equipment, I should be able to go online, find the equipment I am returning, print out a QR code, put it on the equipment and drop it off an my nearest store (which is again 30 minutes away). Even sent a photo of the technician before he arrived at my door. Steve was my installer and he was the nicest man. Helped me figure out the best location for my unit, set up the wires (in an older house too so he had to update things), kept everything clean and helped put the coach back before leaving. I am surprised at how positive my experience was because normally I hear negatives experiences regarding internet but AT&T knows what they are doing! 10/10 PS told Steve that my mother's internet was having issues, he asked if it was AT&T and offered to help her too!

Imagine if you went to a restaurant, knew exactly what you wanted but it took an hour to complete your order anyway because they were required to try to upsell you to a more expensive meal.
