I tend not to read too much into bad reviews however this dry cleaning service is atrocious. Awful service and timeliness and clothes just don't look up to the quality they are charging for. Incompetent people work there with terrible customer service. I will not be returning nor will be recommending this place for anyone For the owners, I would recommend getting people who know how to locate inventory and clean them properly and professionally with customer service training. If I could give this place half a star I would. I have come here a few times over the years as a matter of convenience however after this last experience I will completely pass on future visits. Dropped off pants and a shirt on Thursday for pickup Monday morning. I came in the morning and it was still not ready. I came back Monday evening after five and It was still not ready and they're not sure when it will be there. Even though the other dry cleaner I use is a bit further away they value their customers better than Micky's does. I sure Hope we can have more options in Arverne soon. read more

I asked the tailor to hem a t-shirt to the bottom of the flag that was on the sleeve. The tailor made ugly, uneven stitches right across the bottom stripe of the flag! They didn't even tell me about it, just had it in a bag so I couldn't see it when I went to pick it up and pay. I only saw it upon arriving home. Bad! read more

I've read the reviews about their dry cleaning fails but did not think they would mess up a simple wash and fold job. I really wanted to like these guys because they seemed very cordial and nice. This is my second time dropping off for wash and fold (first time was fine), I found that 6 garments and a sheet set have been ruined by them (images attached). I called them and ask why these are like this, and the guy who picked up said "we don't use bleach" and I should call back when the boss is here at the end of the month (in two weeks). He also said I could bring these back and they can dry clean it, which I don't see how that would help with the bleach stains. This service would be great if I'm gearing up to attend a Grateful Dead reunion concert, but I'm not, so I don't plan to use Micky's Cleaners again. read more

I dropped of a coat a shirt and pants for minor alterations and dry cleaning the man told me the price before hand and i paid. Later they call and tell me my clothes arent gonna be ready when they told me it would, not a big problem. They call me again saying theres a balance due of 15 dollars because the guy made a mistake and that i need to pay it. I tell them i have no problem paying it but i work as an EMT and Work on a military base i cant come right away to pay it off. They called me at least 3 times a day despite knowing i wouldnt be able yo come pay them back right away. I finally go to oay it back and they charged me $30 for their screw up. read more

My experience with Micky's dry Cleaners was absolutely horrible. I took 2 coats, one cream and one pink. The cream one came dirtier than initially and the 2nd one was all faded. They washed the cream one again, and reverted to it's initial state (still dirty but at least not worse) and for the 2nd one they claimed they could not do anything to fix their mistake. The only good thing was that I was able to get my money back, but overall i am extremely dissatisfied with their service. I had to go multiple time to see the same person who took the clothes, and the resolution was sub par. I should have known the quality of their service when, while i was there, a woman came to alter a dress, told them the new measurements, and the employee wrote them down, in front of me, completely wrong. That should have been a red flag. Needless to say i do not recommend this place to anyone. I would have done a better job washing the clothes by myself, and i'm terrible at it! read more

STAY AWAY AT ALL COST. ZERO STARS. Please listen to the other reviews if you care about your clothing. This dry cleaners will not take responsibilities for the damages they cause. I brought in my dress to be cleaned for a wedding and when I picked it up it had a large stain on it. They treated the stain and when the dress came back it had a new stain in a new area as well as color fading. The owners are very rude, aggressive, and blamed me for the stains instead of taking responsibilities for damages they have caused. As a client, I know my clothes and review my clothes before hand. The owners blamed everyone but themselves: me and the store I bought it from (BCBG). The lady became condescending, raising her voice, waiving her hands in the air, and went as far as to ask "Why would you bring your dress here if it did not have a stain on it?" The only solution they had was to refund me half of the cleaning cost ($6.50) or clean it again. I am afraid to have them treat it again because the color on my dress is fading due to the harsh chemicals involved during the cleaning process. Please take caution here and AVOID THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE. They are not kind professionals or care about clients or your garments. If there is a zero star rating. I will definitely give it a zero star. They did the dry cleaning on our Canada Goose down coats after we only wear for one year. When we got it back, there were white spot and stains everywhere on a black coat. They claimed those are wear out, not the dry cleaning issue. I did remember the old man inspected our coat when we brought there and marked the stains the coat have. There is only one place. And there were no white spot my my husband black coat. For only one year, I still think the coat is pretty new, they will not wear out that much not considering the great quality of this brand. So, if you do not want them ruin your clothes. DO NOT GO THERE. Their attitude was so bad as well like whatever, it is not my problem. read more

I have only been to their shop a handful of times over the past few years but all of the experiences were positive. Unfortunately, my last experience wasn't. I gave them two coats to dry clean and when I went to pick them up they said that the belt from my partner's coat was missing. They stated that the facility they gave the coats to had misplaced them. But they assured me they would continue to call the facility in the hopes they would find it. After a few weeks, the facility gave up and admitted they couldn't find it. The facility offered reimbursement for the belt but that wouldn't cover the full value. After some discussion, Micky's dry cleaner decided to cover the remainder of the cost of the belt themselves. The worst service and cleaning ever. I brought my husband's new white GAP pants to them on March 8th after he spilled some wine on it. I was not told that they don't know how to extract the wine stain from his pants. His pants were supposed to be ready on March 11th. When one of us went to pick them up, we noticed that stain was still there. We were informed that they will send them back to cleaning. Some time passed and I was informed that pants got lost. I told them that if I don't get my pants back and cleaned, they will have to pay for it. After receiving a phone call from them, my husband went there back yesterday, May 4th, with the intention of picking up his pants only to find out that the stain was bleached and now his pants had pink stain on them. This stain after the cleaning that they have done appeared ten times worst then before I brought it to them for cleaning. My husband told them that he will not pick them up unless they clean them properly, removing the stain, or reimburse him for his pants. The offered $30.00 dry cleaning credit... what a joke!!! They expect me to come back to this deceitful and unprofessional business that they are running, they are delusional!!! Trust me, it is better going out of peninsula, than brining items for cleaning to them. It is the worst cleaning service we have ever experienced. It took them two months between cleaning or rather not knowing how to clean and not extract the tiny ( less than a dime) wine stain out of pants, then bluntly lying about item being lost (out of embarrassment of knowing how to provide decent dry cleaning), then relocating the item only to show us the product or rather the mess of their service, much bigger pink stain on white pants. Take your business elsewhere!!! It is one thing to support local businesses but it is completely not acceptable to be deceived by one and not provided the basic service you paid for or necessary compensation for destroying the item that was brought fir cleaning and stain extraction. read more

Stay away from this place. Cleaning is off site, they have a 50% chance of losing your clothing. The Indian lady there will try to rob you, because they cannot afford the rent. The customer service is extremely poor. Avoid this place if you value your clothing. read more

I brought a shirt to clean that had a very small stain on it and they made the stain worse and then tried to get me stuck with a dry cleaning credit! They must be insane, horrible service they have no clue what they are doing, do not use them or your items will probably be destroyed too. read more
