I 100% recommend! My issue was jewelry repair. Through my poor care I had ruined the gold plating and tarnished a necklace that is dear to me. It was slightly complicated because the pendant is gold up to a point on the front and then is not. They were able to repair it perfectly back to its original condition in only a weeks time and I am eternally grateful. I followed up a few times but a month went by and I never heard from her. I know my messages have been read and she is just ignoring me. Before actually shopping for an engagement ring, I looked into the popular online sites like Blue Nile and James Allen. I read about Inclusions, Color and felt I had a handle of what is needed to make a diamond purchase. When I got serious, I went to Jared, Robbin Bros and even other local jewelers first. At all of these places I was asked to choose a ring immediately and got pitched VERY fast for a figure that was well above what I had researched. It felt like I was wasting their time that I was even talking instead of buying to be honest. Basically, I found they all had considerable mark up, viewed me as a commission and I walked out within 15 minutes. When I went to Micky's I was very surprised to find Micky didn't try to push me into anything and asked more questions about what styles I liked, not what was on sale or what the current special was. When I eventually found a ring style I liked, she went through some options and I was shocked the cost of both lab grown and natural diamonds were actually less expensive than any place I had researched - by a considerable amount! I had a wonderful experience with Micky and John. Amazing customer service and I am so pleased with how beautiful my ring came out. Attached is the before and after picture of my ring. The ring was passed down to me from my mother in law. It had never been cleaned, it had 1 accent diamond missing, prongs broken, it was too big so it needed to be resized, it also had a separate accent band with it so we needed it soldered. We also decided to upgrade the center stone to a 1/2 ct. as you can see in the pictures, Micky did a beautiful job! The gold was nicely polished, it looks brand new! The ring fit perfect! The band was nicely United to the ring, a brand new prong set to hold the new 1/2ct stone, and the missing diamond was replaced. Such a beautiful job, she truly brought my ring to life and gave it a wonderful makeover! Thank you Micky & John, i am beyond happy!!! read more

I've always seen Mickys jewelry but never went in. I would get periodical fliers in the mail advertising treasure hunts which I always thought were a fun and inventive marketing strategy. I kept missing them though. When I needed to buy a cross for my God child, I decide to try Mickys. I'm glad I did. The woman (maybe Micky?) was so helpful and pleasant to work with. Not pushy or conniving like so many of the the other jewelers Ive dealt with whom always try to push more items on you or deter you from what you are already looking for. A few months later for Christmas I went back to order a nameplate for my daughter. Again the service was great. I can be indecisive and picky aka annoying but the sales woman was so patient and helpful in pulling out books of samples to ensure that I was happy with my purchase. My daughter loved it! A few months later she broke it and I brought it in to be repaired. It was fixed complimentary. After being referred by a friend and reading online reviews of Micky's Jewelry Studio, I inadvertently made the mistake of purchasing one of their jewelry pieces from them for my wife's 20th anniversary gift. My wife and I were very disappointed with the quality of the piece. After a mere two weeks the piece looked worn and two of the diamonds started falling off. BE ADVISED: This business is run by a bunch of snakes -- take your business elsewhere. Precious stones and metals are an investment do not get ripped off by Micky's. I went here based on Yelp reviews, as I didn't want to take a chance at the mall chain jewelers. I got my diamond right hand ring sized here 2 full sizes larger. Micky was extremely personable, and quoted me a week to complete it, but it was done in just 4 days instead. I was nervous to take my ring anywhere, but before she accepted to size it, she checked that all my stone settings were still tight under a magnification light. The ring went with the work order into a locked cabinet. I've seen other jewelers haphazardly place jewelry work orders to the side, or in a ziplock bag to file later, so it was nice to see that she valued my ring as much as I did. When it was done, she called me letting me know her store hours for the weekdays and weekend. The price was exactly what she quoted me when I picked it up, and it looked gorgeous, all polished up. I will be taking my jewelry here for repairs in the future. As a side note, the store is extremely clean, with cases of various jewelry. There are new pieces here as well as unique estate pieces in silver and gold. They also do custom work and can sculpt and cast waxes to make something one of a kind. When I was there, multiple people were browsing and the phone kept ringing, so they are definitely doing something right! read more
