As a former corporate office employee of TigerDirect, I found it ironic that someone else decided to open a Computer Store in nearly the same location as TigerDirect. Having known TigerDirect's sales practices and policies, well, to say I was skeptical, that is an understatement. MicroCenter IS NOT TigerDirect. Well, the store does have a similar look, I mean, how much can you change a computer store but past that, nothing else was the same. I came in here looking for a Dell Alienware desktop and not only did the manager say hi, he set me up with a knowledgeable sales guy. Jared knew his stuff and was honest enough to tell me that I really didn't need that powerful of a computer and then he offered me another unit that was almost $400 cheaper. In all honestly, I had already spent weeks over analyzing this whole decision and was prepared to spend the larger amount. In the end, I ended up with one of their in house brands for a little less than the cost of the Dell just due to the ease of upgrading in the future. Now the funny thing is, I came home, still overthinking my decision and hit up Grok for an opinion and not only did Grok almost parrot what Jared said, it came to the same conclusion. The machine I purchased was a little bit slower but I would never use the extra speed or features so saving the extra hundred or so dollars was the right decision. Overall their prices were the same or better than places like Best Buy. Best Buy had a very similar looking Alienware Computer but once you dug into the specs, the MicroCenter unit had a much better cooling and faster memory in the same case. I will likely keep over analyzing my decision. I know that this isn't a lifetime decision but the last box I bought was in 2018 so I suspect that I will have this one for a while. read more

Great New place to find the items you can only find on Internet stores. I don't know another store in south Florida that has a selection of products this large and on the shelf now. Good prices and Great Tech Support. I drove 32 miles one way to purchase in store and for same day repair service. read more

Microcenter (especially this one) are an excellent example of what every physical retail location SHOULD be! Every staff member I talked to was both extremely helpful and friendly. When I say it was a genuine pleasure to shop here, I don't say that lightly. Prices were great on most items as well. There is of course some things you could find cheaper elsewhere but if you're not very technically inclined and don't know exactly what you're looking for the staffs knowledge is worth paying slightly more for to ensure you get exactly what you need! read more

Wow tech dream scenario for South Florida!! My Dad and husband both spoke highly of this place, and it reminds me of a bigger/cooler Comp USA from my 90s memory bank. We were pleased with the Raspberry Pi station, all the 3-D printing area, wide selection of tech anything. My husband says the pricing is fair and it beats paying for shipping. Still has that new store feel, everything is orderly. Nice touch with the complimentary new store opening mugs! We grabbed a few! read more

Their extended warranty service is excellent. They have a huge assortment of laptops, computer monitors and parts. read more

Had an amazing time here. They had every part imaginable to build a computer or raspberry pi or 3D printing! Selection was amazing and prices seemed reasonable. The best part, right next door inside the mall is a open Radio Shack to complement this store with electronics! They even had Bawls at the checkout counter like the old computer stores of the 90s had! read more

It's been decades since Miami has had a real computer store, and I don't mean the ones that mostly sold TVs, I'm talking about the ones back in the 90s that had cool stuff. Micro Center is much more than just a place to buy a computer, it's more of a mecca of all things geek; like an entire sim racer ecosystem, and a massive 3D printer and filament section, and products all geared towards hobbyists and professionals alike. Need a mechanical switch keyboard but don't know if you want tactile or clicky? There's aisles of keyboards from $20 to $200! How about a battery backup? They've got the basic APCs to the high end Vertiv, they even sell solar generators! Want to build a computer? All the parts you need are there and at all prices points, and they don't mark up prices when there is a shortage, an added bonus to having a local store. Customer service seems to be really good, staff is knowledgeable and professional. Totally worth a visit. read more
