I'm very happy, kind and like all of us, have struggles but any personal attacks to attempt to shame other's people's lives demonstrates your cruelty - as a human being, nevermind the services. During sessions w/ Sok/Chloe/Amber that should have been relaxing, she made constant conversation asking about my personal life as well as inquiries about my income and money savings patterns. She also exposed personal lives of other past clients, including medical professionals. This made me extremely uncomfortable and raised questions about how my own information might be handled, which is now evidenced in her unnecessary low blows to people's personal lives. My original review w/ Sok/Chloe/Amber is about her skin services and response with manipulation when asked to cease services. She did not refuse me as a client, I refused continuation of her services. Because of how serious this has become w/ attacks on me personally, I am currently looking into the appropriate channels to escalate my concerns to the BBB so this esthetian does not get away with bullying people who have used her services, thus harming their job/livelihood. Clients deserve a baseline level of a safe, respectful environment where their privacy is protected and their jobs or personal lives are never brought into conversations in a threatening or uncomfortable way for a service as simple as a facial while they are serving to help others (I'm referring to her exposure specifically during my sessions of past doctors, nurse, other medical professionals that serve our community who have used her.) This is a deeply mean-spirited person as evidenced by her treatment of past clients for daring to speak up after their experiences. I tried another doctor, but it wasn't even close. After putting off a physical for about two years now, I was stoked when my wife found his new practice. As a former elite athlete of 25 years, I've accumulated the usual wear and tear over the years. What set Dr. Will apart from day one was his thoughtful, conservative approach. Years ago, I came to him with hip pain that bugged for years and got to the point it would occasionally cause pain/numbness down my entire leg, I was pretty miserable. Instead of jumping to surgery, he recommended stretching, strengthening, and physical therapy. About a month later, the pain was gone and hasn't come back. Fast forward to today, I came in for a physical with hopes of solving a knee injury that's been keeping me from being very active. Within five minutes, he pinpointed the issue and gave me a clear path forward. Beyond just treatment though, Dr. Will took time to understand my overall lifestyle and checked in on me personally. It's rare to find a doctor who genuinely cares on that level. He's not just a fantastic physician, he's a great person. I can't recommend him or his new practice highly enough. I won't be going anywhere else for care for the foreseeable future, and while I haven't tried the facials or additional treatments his location offers, I definitely plan to at some point.

STAY AWAY from this center because of the office manager, Amber…read more I love CoastMed and found the staff to be so helpful in North County, in addition to this Clairemont location *prior* to Amber arriving. Long story short, I called about the MIC shots they offer and was informed by the person on the phone of the package price. When I arrived, it was Amber (the office manager) sitting at the desk. She was on the phone and I waited patiently for her to finish the call. She finished the call and didn't look up at me once. She continued working and ignoring me. I waited another full minute before then asking for her assistance. Already she had demonstrated her lack of care for customers and service. When I queried about the MIC shots and the package pricing, she informed me it was a different/higher pricing. I explained to her that I was quoted differently/less. She rolled her eyes, scoffed and said that it was incorrect, and I had to pay the higher price she informed me off. I replied stating to her that while I was happy to pay the different rate, I would appreciate the office staff being informed/trained better on prices so they can provide accurate quotes. From here, things escalated, because Amber continued to be unapologetic and started to be condescending. I repeated to her many times that I was not upset about the price, AND, willing to pay full price - however it mattered to me principally, that staff were trained in providing accurate price quotes. Her condescension continued. I explained that, with me purchasing a package, paid at full price, I did not want her to treat me as a practitioner for the MIC shots. How could anyone be expected to feel comfortable pulling down their pants for glute shots and stepping on the scale and discussing weight issues with Amber, with her awful manner. Her reply word-for-word when I stated that I only wanted to see other employees at the office location for the MIC shots: "Well good luck with that, I'M the office manager". I could go on, but in a nutshell - while I love CoastMed, I think that people should be WARNED of staying away from this location purely because of Amber. I visited Clairemont CoastMed often the year prior, (Amber was not part of the team at this time), and would happily visit in the future once she is gone/fired (because how could anyone with her lack of social skill last in a customer service oriented job). I'm also certain that if she's the one to respond on Yelp to my review, she'll make up lies about me and insist I was arguing about price. Not true. I brought up price once, said I would be happy to pay full price, but would appreciate a commitment that staff would be trained better in quoting accurate prices. The issue was *not* over price, but rather, over Amber's lack of professional attitude (to say the least), and her insulting, condescending tone. She also deferred any responsibility "well I certainly wasn't the one to quote you that price, I would remember". This is coming from the Office Manager, people. I'd expect such a response from a 12 year old. I feel sorry for anyone who has to ever interact with her, and more importantly, I feel sorry for all the staff members she's in charge of, that no doubt know how awful she is. While she was on her high horse and (pathetic) power trip, one of the junior staff members caught my eye and mouthed 'sorry'. Clearly, anyone who works with Amber, knows full well of her blatant disregard for common courtesy. Here's hoping she's gone from the Clairemont location soon, so it can return back to what it used to be - professional, welcoming, and friendly. (Also, FYI, if you look at my prior Yelp reviews, I've left nothing negative for any businesses. I love to see businesses excel and support them. I also tried to reach out to the owner of CoastMed to pass on this feedback privately, however had no followup. As such, I felt that it was necessary to share and WARN others about avoiding this location now, due to Amber).
