I am so late writing this review! But still going to do it because it is so warranted. Rae is an absolute angel and gave me back confidence I had lacked for years. I had my first brow appointment with her last December, and opted for the micro blading/ombré combo. It came out great and I was satisfied with the result. However, the ombré portion did not heal like I thought it would (but the micro blading did) which could just be because of my skin type. So for my touch up appointment in February, I asked for micro blading only (with manual shading) and it came out AMAZING. And it healed the same! Over 7 months later and I've barely lost any color, and I am still confident without any brow make up. I am very pleased with the results and her pricing is fair! What really stood out to me though was her customer service. She is very professional, talented, and welcoming, which is hard to come by these days in my opinion. I don't typically write these but this is the first time I've ever gotten PMU so was a bit nervous. Rae was incredibly professional, the studio is in a convenient central location in SD and was cute and clean, and I was able to get comfortable right away. A blanket was even provided since it was a little cold inside. Rae made sure she understood exactly how I wanted my eyebrows done, and kept checking in with me throughout the entire process. She did warn me that my combo brows would appear dark for the first couple of days, but I was provided ample warning and detailed directions for after care. Ok, let's face it, after Covid's stay at home orders or working from home for the past 2 years, no one wants to go through the trouble of putting on a full face of makeup anymore. But good brows will go a very long way to look put together with no effort. If you're deciding to make the microblading plunge, look no further than having your brows bladed by Rae. She is absolutely amazing at her craft! Her hair strokes look so realistic and natural I can barely tell where mine start and end. I selected the microshading option that gave me very natural looking brows with a little bit of shading at the tail to give it more of a cleaner and more polished look. I had microblading done previously elsewhere and the pigment had healed red. Rae was able to neutralize the old pigment and slightly change the shape to give me more of an arch since I wasn't a fan of my last brow shape. She uses the newest type of pigments available so the color will heal to its true color. No more red brows! Rae also really cares about your recovery process and gives such a great after care kit so you get the best results possible. Her after care kit actually includes brow shields ladies! Who does that? It's thoughtful little things like this that truly makes Rae standout. I went to Rachel for my first micro blading procedure ever. Ive always been interested in the process but didn't know where to start. I totally consulted with Raych and she walked me through the process. I'm so glad I did! I get queasy amongst needles but these blades weren't nearly as crazy large as I imagined (I guess it's called micro blading for a reason, lol). Raych was very professional and knowledgeable in her blading procedure and always checked up on how I felt during the process. it was relatively painless and my eyebrows are on fleek!
