We explained they were like that when we moved in but didn't note it because they were in the same bad shape as the entire kitchen. Apparently that wasn't good enough. Perhaps some of the money they charge tenants at move-out should be used to replace the worn items instead of pocketing it. Oh yeah, forgot to mention dealt with roaches the entire time. On a positive note - we did complain to management about several things (roaches, broken air, leaking water heater) and they do send over maintenance to take care of the problem.
