Outstanding Service! So happy to have found Vince Squitieri! On Wednesday, we noticed a very strong gasoline odor in our garage. Initially, we had no idea what was causing this smell and later discovered that our snowblower was leaking gasoline onto the garage floor. I placed a few calls trying to get someone to come and look at it before it got worse. One place was willing to help but I needed to get the snowblower to them. I had not way of doing this because it is a big one. Then I got a call back from one of the calls I had made. It was Vincent. I explained the situation to him and my concern about the gasoline leaking in the garage. He came the very next morning after the rainstorms cleared and picked up the snowblower. Shortly after he texted me with the estimate and confirmed he could repair it and have it back to me later that same day! I was shocked that he was able to do this so quickly! As he said he would, he delivered the repaired snowblower Thursday afternoon. The final bill not only detailed the work that was done but it also included tips for maintaining the snowblower in mint condition - especially during the off season. Exceptional! Mr Vince did an OUTSTANDING job taking care of my Cub Cadet XT3. He does a complete job -- pays close attention to the smallest detail. He replaced all of the most accessible items with new parts -- for example he replaced the foam air cleaner element (instead of just cleaning it like the last folks did). I have total confidence in his service. -- he told me exactly when to expect the mower back (the last group kept it for over 2 months -- wouldn't give decent updates) -- his charges were very reasonable (again compared to the last group) Very pleased -- highly recommend Vince. I have never talked to this gentleman before he returned a call to my husband who was busy so I answered the phone i inqhired when the lawn mower would be delivered wow he went off at me stating hed deliver it when he wanted and I should hire someone to mow the lawn it was my fault that I waited till now to get it fixed Again all we wanted was an ETA I'm sure that's all my husband was calling about since he had already paid the bill but he wouldn't listen he just yelled even though I pleaded with him not tol I am a palled at the unprofessionalism of this owner and would not recommend him to anyone read more

"Stay away from this man" is good advice. I fully agree with Todd's and Daniel's reviews. Vince (Christian) Squitieri has provided annual maintenance/ tuneup and a few repairs for my riding lawn mower over the past few years. All of that work was done satisfactorily. Following the March 2021 annual mower tuneup, however, I received an invoice that included a $95 charge identified as "PRICE INCLUDES PARTS & LABOR," which I questioned. Vince related that this was a charge for roundtrip pickup and delivery. Since Vince's website advertises in 2 places (Pricing screen, FAQs) that pickup and delivery are FREE for annual mower tuneups, I refused to pay that charge and requested he reissue a corrected invoice. He refused, called me a number of vulgar, filthy names, told me to go to hell, and then hung up. I paid his later corrected invoice. read more

Great experience. On the Wednesday night before for the 2016 blizzard, we tried to start our generator to prep it for the storm but could not get it running. We were very concerned about losing power during the storm and hoped to get it fixed fast so my husband left messages for two other repair services before he called Vince who picked up on the 2nd ring and said he could stop by to pick it up that night. His delivery man stopped by about 9pm on Wednesday night and by 8:30 Thursday morning Vince had called to tell us what the problem was, that he could fix it, and that he'd return the generator before snow started falling on Friday. He called Thursday night about 6pm to say the generator was on the truck and his man (sorry, I didn't get his name) would return it to us sometime that night. And he did. I'm just stunned with the speed, responsiveness, professionalism, and politeness of Vince and his crew. We also appreciate very much the fact that they pick up and deliver as we do not own a vehicle suitable for transporting generators or lawn mowers to a repair facility. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with Vince Christian Lawn Mower Repair and would not hesitate to call them again for additional work. Those other places we called? Still haven't called us back. Edit: A few other things we greatly appreciated: 1. The driver gave us a receipt acknowledging pick up of our equipment. 2. The final bill was printed and included a detailed explanation of work done. 3. The bill also included several care and maintenance tips which was helpful and appreciated. read more

VC Repair, Annapolis Mower Repair and Vince Christian repair - this guy gives repair companies a bad name. We had our lawnmower picked up for repair. We received it back 7 days later (a reasonable length of time, given it is spring). When it came back to us and we went to use it, it had the exact same issues. Wouldn't start/run. My husband texted him about the issues and Vince became insulting and belligerent - he's got major psych problems. . We tried to cancel the Paypal payment (unsuccessfully) of $185.00. The repairs were to include a tune up (spark plug change), corroborator cleaned and blades sharpened. The blades were not sharpened, the corroborator was still having issues and the spark plug was old/rusty. Buyer beware! Pictures and text messages available. read more

Vince is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We are new to Stevensville and Vince has driven all the way down Rt 8 twice now, once only to find out it was a 2-second repair (because we've never owned a ride-on lawnmower before). You don't want a sketchy guy coming to your house, right? Vince is trustworthy...really. Now, I didn't run a background check on him - ha, just kidding! But really, as a female often at home alone with smaller kids, that's important to me, and I'm telling you he is a nice guy. Don't call anybody else - call Vince. He really is great! Vince Squitieri (VC Lawn Mower & Small Engine Repair) is excellent. I have had several annual check-ups and fix of my lawn tractor done and each time it looks and runs like new when returned. I live in Edgewater, MD and VC picks up my lawn tractor and returns it at my front driveway! No pick-up or reruns during inclement weather as it is an on trailer. A bit inconvenient but the excellent job VC does more than makes up for it. Prices are very fair. I wouldn't think of using any other. Absolutely tghe best. Thanks Vince and crew! read more

ZERO STARS - TALK ABOUT DRAMA...I called about getting my lawn mower repaired on 8/8/17, it would not start. They picked it up on 8/10/17, they were supposed to bring it back on 8/14/17 but there was rain in the forecast (seriously?). I did not get it until 8/16/17. They said that the carburetor needed to be cleaned and they tuned it up too for $150 total. I taped check on my front door and they took it when they brought it back. It started with one pull on 8/16/17. I made one pass down the side of house and stopped to get a rake; mower would not start again and was dumping gas all over my driveway (I have pictures and video to back this up). I called Mr. Squitieri that evening and told him this; he said "no way, there is no way that mower is not working, no way, did you pull the cord hard enough?." He argued with me for 20 minutes before he finally agreed to pick up the mower, but could not do so for another week or so. I put a stop payment on the check and decided that I would call someone else. At 7 a.m. the next morning, Mr. Squitieri called and said that they were on their way to pick up mower. They did not pick it up until very late that evening. On 8/18 Mr. Squitieri called and said that he cleaned the carburetor (again) and the mower was running fine and not dumping gas. He asked me if he could return the mower on 8/19 and I said YES and that I would be home all day. I told him that I would pay him cash (I told him about the check). He texted me on Saturday, 8/19 and said that he was on his way to drop off mower. He never showed up and finally texted me on Sunday, 8/20 and said that there was a traffic jamb on Saturday and that he was unable to deliver my mower (I live in Stevensville, he was coming from Stevensville, what traffic jamb)? He tried calling Sunday night, but I was on the ladder painting my bathroom and I did not call him back. NOW it's Monday, I was at work and could not do personal business at work; he's going on vacation tomorrow for two weeks and has decided that now it is URGENT that he return the mower and get his money, however, he will only accept a Paypal payment (I don't have Paypal), or cash, and he wanted it in advance. Here is how the text messages from him went ALL day today before I had to block his number. "I explained to you that there is no warranty on fuel-related problems once you put your own gas into the lawn mower. It's obvious that you don't have the money, so I will keep your lawn mower and then you can pay me late fees and storage fees on top of what you already owe me." Then I told him fine, bring the lawn mower tonight at 7 or tomorrow during the day and I will tape the check on the door. Then he said that they are NOT AVAILABLE tonight OR tomorrow. He told me that he is not dealing with me anymore and told me to go buy a new lawn mower (because he's keeping mine). He told me that I was full of excuses and that I don't have the money to pay him anyway and that I don't answer my DAMN phone that that I don't have any DAMN money and I only have a bunch of DAMN excuses. This is the owner who is talking to me like this. There service is awful and their customer service is even WORSE. I just bought a house in Stevensville and now I have to go buy a new lawnmower because of this. The guy has insulted me, threatened me, and now he's keeping my lawnmower for self-inflicted problems that he has caused. That lawn mower was in storage for about 16 months and I bought it brand new right before that (I've been living in a townhome for 16 months; no need for a ). I am also contacting the Better Business Bureau about this guy. read more

Zero stars. Pick up of ride mower and chainsaw took two weeks, delayed 4 additional days due to...a day it rained? Once equipment was picked up heard nothing for a week until I called asking for the status at which time I was told it would be yet another week for a bolt to arrive. When finally receiving "repaired" equipment back, (alongside a $600 invoice) mower worked for a day before the (what I'm guessing is) ill cleaned fuel lines/carburetor began to choke up the throttle once again. When I called and conveyed my problem Mr. Squittieri suggested I schedule another pick up and open my check book yet again. I of course asked why he thought a day's working order was a long enough warranty of the work he had just performed at which time he became irate and scolded me for the poor condition my mower was in when he received it. He then promptly hung up on me. Poor response times, poor work quality and most of all poor manners. Would never recommend. read more

zero star! This is a dishonest and shi$$tty business. They charged me with "replaced blades" yet in reality they "sharpened the blades" since i never received my old blades. The belt was loos and made a lot of noise once engaging the blades. You can see the belt flopping underneath the mowing deck on a drive way. When asked them, they refused to fix the problem. ZERO stars!! Read the other review of 7/11/2015, eerily similar. 9 items were picked up by Mr Squi tieri on May 18, 2015. I called him after 2 weeks to ask about delivery. I was told he was waiting for a "part" but would be ready soon. I received all my items back on 6/8/2015. So, 3 weeks to wait for the items. In all seriousness, none of them looked like they had been touched. Still oil and grease on the motors, etc. Bottom line, today I called because two of the items do not work. The response from Mr Squitieri was just as the other reviewer said. He faulted me for not using the equipment sooner. Said he has a 30 day warranty and it has been 6 weeks! And then in his apparent tradition, HE HUNG UP ON ME! POOR response time, POOR work Quality, and Poor manners. read more

I have never experienced the treatment I received by this man. After picking up my mower 17 days ago for a tune up, Carborator rebuild and to fix the mowing device as the blades won't drop to cut the grass he sends a letter with the pick up that basically says don't call me I'll call you if we go above estimate or there are issues. I called him day 15 he was rude and never returned my call. I called back the next day to merely see if I needed someone to cut my grass because the tractor wasn't done and to ask about the blades working. He immediately started yelling at me about me aboout calling and bothering him, I could get my grass cut or not, he didn't care and when I get my tractor back I can cut it " a thousand times a day for all I care". I tried to say " I'm trying to have a adult conversation and I don't think it's unreasonable for me to call". He proceeded to remind me of the letter he sent, asked if I could read and said this is why he wrote it....so people won't call him. Ironically enough he text 15 min later to tell me my tractor was fixed and was being delivered on a non-delivery day. He charged me 379.95, no itemized invoice and the blades don't drop so he essentially cursed me out, and hung up on me twice, delievered, and charged me for a tractor I cannot use. What else did He not do. He is a awful business man and this has easily been the worst experience. I have never met a mean person on the shore until this week. Awful person and I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy! read more
