Ordered online and picked up my food for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. ( First time eating from here.) The restaurant is cute, my food was good! It taste like it was homemade which is a good thing! I like when my food taste fresh and natural or like something I would have made myself at home ( I love to cook! ), anyways the onion rings were also very crispy and good. You can choose your side with your meal or just get the sandwich. Overall the menu has a lot of options , so I am looking forward to trying there other seafood meals! Now moving along to the presentation, I really appreciated that I had everything I needed ( sauce utensils napkins in the bag) and my food was ready pretty quickly and the person that assisted me was cool, wasn't a long line I was in and out. I honestly had low expectations when I ordered from here, but after my pick up experience, my food packaging, and eating my meal I can say they blew my expectations out the water lol. Loved it and I want to try their salmon next!

I visited Mid Atlantic Seafood in Lanham for the first time and was very impressed. I have aways visited the Laurel location. This location sits right in a plaza on Annapolis Road. There is ample parking outside. It's extremely clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My mom had a taste for fish and I immediately thought of Mid Atlantic. We ordered two fry fish sandwiches with sides. I got the fried tilapia and she got the fried catfish sandwich. We also ordered a few sides: teriyaki green beans with mushrooms, coleslaw, seafood salad, and peach cobbler. Everything was delicious! There's ample seating inside to eat inside if you would like to. We ordered ours to go. I will definitely return!

Don't let the location fool you! I haven't been to a Mid Atlantic in years. I used to go to the Hyattsville location. I was in the area and decided to give it a try. It was exactly as I remembered. I ordered fish&shrimp with teriyaki green beans and scalloped potatoes. Portions are huge, prices are reasonable and service is friendly enough. Fish and shrimp were made to order, so be prepared for a short wait, but it's worth it. There was enough for at least 2-3 meals. A big plus for me is that the place is clean!!! Floors, table, even the self-serve area. I don't frequent this area a lot, but so far Mid Atlantic is 2 for 2 for locations in my book.

I haven't been to this spot in sooo long. I'm glad I checked them out this weekend. Upon first entering, it's soo nice, clean and modern. It's very inviting and makes you want to sit in there and eat, which you can do if you like. Food is displayed very nicely, and customer service was pretty good as well. I'm coming back to try some food items for sure, but the Smoothie's were supper good!

This is kind of a fast food/sit down place. An attendant at a kiosk takes your order and you go and seat yourself. Dinning area is kept clean and orderly. Service: very polite, but you only interact with the staff at the order kiosk and when you pickup your order from the counter. Food: Fried grouper had great flavor and huge portion, but a little greasy, coleslaw was outstanding--very lite mayo and the cabbage still had chrunch. The hush puppies were the best I've had in a very long time. Shrimp po-boy had too much remoulade so I couldn't taste the shrimp, fries were meh. I tried their iced tea and it was great! Tips: if you order grilled fish it will take about 20mins, and baked takes about 15mins according to the young man at the kiosk. They'll make you aware at time of order.

Fried Pork Chop entree with lomein noodles and kale. Food never needs seasoning, but We Baltimoreans- and we put Old Bay on everything!

I absolutely Looooove this spot. The food is always Fire (Very good) and the staff is very friendly and courteous + you don't have a long wait for your food to be cooked and prepared. I always order my food to go, but they do have a seating if you would prefer to dine in. Now I know of a few Mid-Atlantic's in the area; but my wife informed me that there's one that's an actual restaurant with wait staff in Laurel, MD. I'm definitely going to hit'em up because their food is Soooooo gooood! Please stop by if you want your taste buds to be tantalized... Is that a word ??? Yes it is, but check'em out !!!!!!

Two turkey legs and sides of Mac n cheese and yams

Stopped in randomly. I walked in to place an order. It was kind of confusing to see where we should order or how things worked. Well, there's a sign that says ORDER here and another says ORDER pick up here. I got a 2 piece turkey wings that came with 2 sides. The portions were large!! Mac n cheese was very cheesy and like how my sister makes hers The yams were good. I did add sugar to them at home The turkey wings were good, however, the outside wing part was too "slippery" and oozy to me so I pulled the meat off the bone and threw the slimy pieces away Inside tables and condiments. Free and plenty of parking. You can also order ahead or order via delivery service

MidAtlantic-- and this location in particular have never failed me when I'm crazing comfort food or fried fish. I always get the teriyaki green beans and they are consistently good. On my most recent trip, I opted for the cheesy broccoli. It wasn't my favorite, there wasn't much flavor or seasoning so I'll go back to the cheesy potatoes next time. The whiting fish was fried perfectly and there was enough for 2 full meals. They don't skimp on portions here, so if you're looking for good food at a reasonable price point, you shouldn't be disappointed. I'm taking one star because from my experience their desserts can be hit or miss. I order the banana pudding and it was literally just bananas and pudding in a cup. No wafers, cheese cookies, nothing. I wasn't expecting much, but at least a traditional recipe would have been nice. At any rate, the service is pretty consistent, the restaurant dining area appears clean even though I've never sat inside there are always other diners present when I go to pickup so the option is there.

Teriyaki string beans were very greasy and salty. Has too much MSG in it. Not happy with the taste.

The food is not as good as it was before. I order the vegetarian plate which is all vegetables but the food is really greasy now so I think that I will try a different restaurant. I use to come quite often but I think that I am done . Customer service has change and the employees are not as friendly as before so I will not go to this location anymore. Not happy . I'm done.

My sister treated me to lunch and the food was great. Whiting was ok but I think I'm just a blue catfish kinda girl so I'm biased. Fried shrimp were good. Great parking, never had an issue finding a space to pop in and grab food.

Well this seems to be the latest in this chain to open. I thought it was just Peruvian chicken but…read moreit's pretty much Peruvian everything plus cheese steaks, dry roasts, and vegetables. I'm here at lunchtime and it's filling up which of course is exactly what we want to see. I'm here on the recommendation of someone who has tried these gyros and they know how picky I am about the gyros. Because they're cooked to order , I can tell you that the place is very clean and very organized. The staff is all Hispanic. I don't know what that means, Caribbean chicken, I guess, but since I don't eat Peruvian chicken because it's very very salty, I'm trying the other meals. You can get an assortment of vegetables if that's what you want. I already mentioned there's chicken. You can eat wraps, different sandwiches, and a lot of Latin specialties. one complaint is that since they cook to order and you don't pick up at the table as my gyro, I sat here waiting for someone to call me. I didn't hear my name called out even though they asked for your name. I eventually had to go up to get it. I'm sure it's a little cooler than I would probably like it but we'll see. The final thing is, which I'm beginning to see not just here, A sign begging we want tips and we appreciate it. As for the Sandwich, they use the pre-sliced meat like that you would buy in a kit. . Cut thin and uniform and crisp on the ends. Think of bacon with a identity issue. Bread? it may think its Pita more like pity and last, The dressing was tasty and liberal would have licked it off the bread. Bottom Line, do not come here for the cold gyros , but i'm sure you find other food to like. 2.5 out of 5

First: start with the tres leches cake, here. Or end with it. But definitely do not miss it. The…read moreflavor of this cake is not very sweet, but instead like a melty, milky rum caramel almost-pudding that will have you swooning. If you like the complexity of the flavor of flan, you will love this tres leches cake. Many know that El Pollo Rico in Arlington, Virginia is the original Mac Daddy of all of the Peruvian rotisserie chicken restaurants in the DC area. Decades ago, my tech compadres and I would stand on line in their sparse environs and get a quarter chicken with white meat hacked right in front of you. Just like at all the the Peruvian rotisseries today. Back then, all you could get were fries and cole slaw and no other choices for sides unless you wanted yucca. And one type of dessert. That was it. And it was the best chicken ever. Since then, many places offering Peruvian chicken have become mainstays and Sardi's is one. The original Sardi's, in Beltsville, is usually packed and full of families. The decor is welcoming, the seating area is grand and there are many, many sides to choose from. As well as other menu items. Sardi's has since spun-off as a chain all around the DC area, but with a franchised, methodical approach. The recipe as I've at least observed in this New Carrollton location: big branding, open spaces, a clean and simple aesthetic, booth and table seating, plenty of rotisserie, other menu items, a steam table with sides and many desserts. Oh ... and friendly and helpful staff who really make a difference. The rotisserie chicken seasoning at Sardi's brings much sodium and a pleasant, subtle heat. But it's not excessively spicy, by any means. I think it would be fascinating to know how they make the seasoning. This salt plus heat combo is not what I've been used to - Peruvian rotisserie chicken-wise - for decades, but it is flavorful. I would like to ask the team if they have a sweeter sauce to balance the mild heat. I have gotten my favorite yellow 'Amarilla,' sauce here but it's not what I am used to, either. It's salty and there is no mild sweetness. A purely sweet - and maybe hot - sauce would probably balance the spices of the Sardi's Peruvian chicken well. Btw this heat doesn't slowly build, it's just pleasantly smokey. The fries are served piping hot and tasty if you get them right when they are made. They are big and good. The cole slaw is deceiving because it looks like normal slaw but the flavours are quite intense and lively. I kept serving myself more and wondered if I might have just eaten the whole side dish if I didn't have to share it. The yucca is more tender than I'm used to, if yucca can be. Sardi's masters the art of preparing it so that you're not pulling off the edges and chewing too much. So, yes on more yucca please. The rice is lovely, perfectly clumped and well seasoned. As mild as their rice is, you really don't need to add anything to it, ie butter or whatever. It's fabulous just the way it is. Unless, of course, you are like me and rest the undersides of your rotisserie chicken on the rice to intentionally get a bit of that Sardi's rotisserie seasoning on it. As for the other desserts: we tried the chocolate mousse cake. Cakes this light have easily been stale, but not this one. Our slice was fresh and moist. I've had lighter mousse cakes at fine restaurants which sometimes have notes of 'refrigerator' surface so I was relieved this was not the case, here. There are slightly nutty notes in the mousse. I want to say hints of pistachio but the label mentions "soy tree nut (almond, coconut, hazelnut, pecan and walnut.)" Not sure if they are all blended in but this is a classic and mild, nutty chocolate dessert mousse vs. a super-rich, dark chocolate experience. I prefer the latter. This mousse cake is so fresh that when you open the container, you can immediately smell the lovely chocolate cake. That's saying a lot about their quality control standards, here. I would like to next try the carrot cake and the tiramisu cake, here. Why? Because I know they are at least going to be fresh. And with Sardi's emphasis on good flavors, I couldn't imagine these two desserts would be anything less than delicious. The rice pudding is everything, here! It was so delicious that you could even have it for breakfast: it's cold, creamy, sweet and perfectly flavored with cinnamon. Finally, a note about the staff. They are warm and kind when approached. And people were just helpful here. I enjoyed our dinner and feel that the best thing Sardi's has is a focus on their team being helpful with customers, people having an aesthetic space to dine among one another and a reliable place to enjoy Peruvian rotisserie with a bit of flair.
