Chicken Wings & French Fries

Service = *** - the cashier was GREAT Food = subpar Depending on what you are looking for - the Fried Whiting & French Fries were not fried deeply like I like. Now the Jerk Chicken platter/dish was tasty. The fried chicken wings were premie sized - they must have been on a diet. Just MY Opinion - everyone's taste buds are different!

4 piece... should be ALL dark... 2 are white. Oh. And some "Cajun rice" The 2 minute microwave kind.

This place is horrible. DO NOT Believe those positive reviews. That popeyes close by is better than this JOINT. Disappointing considering the locale. With catfish Total $41.00 Not even CLOSE to getting what I paid for... One star too many

Big menu, busy place, that moves people along well. If you need a late night meal, Sharks is pretty good. The choice is there. I like the desserts which have been ahead of the meals in quality. The fried foods have been basic. The shrimp was over fried. And the fries served soaked in oil. Cocktail sauce wasn't very good, and not enough given. Will be back. Convenience and choice matter a lot. Plus, I've always found the people, behind the counter to be personable and hard working.

Came off the late night, about 10:30. The only good thing about it was the seasoning they put on the fries and the catfish nuggets. My shrimp looked like it was cooked in old grease and my fries were too crispy and old.

Disrespectful they're selling old food and trying to pass it as fresh I just ordered from Uber Eats and I bit into my fish and instantly smelled ammonia. To make things worse I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad they sent it with steaming hot chicken over lettuce with croutons. Disgusting!

Me smiling after I ate.

Mmm so good! I ate all the food before I could take a picture. I had tasted a little of the macaroni and cheese and a tiny bite of the fish on my way home. Not to mention my car smelled amazing by the time I got back to my apartment. Also, the workers were really nice and there was a movie on while I waited. The lemon pepper was light though did not skip on flavor. Macaroni and cheese was delicious and flavorful as was the rice (which I'd asked for in lieu of French fries.) Classic and simple fried fish is unmatched. I forgot to mention I had catfish.

Whitening fish dinner. Very good!

Yep. If you're reading this, you should just make that reservation and go... and yes, I would…read morerecommend a reservation because this place is pop-u-lar, and I see why. The space itself is bright and airy and a bit on the noisy side. But the service was very good, and the food was served quite quickly. I've been on a shakshuka kick lately, so I opted for the the Sweet Potato Shakshuka, which is described as: Sweet Potato Curry, with Chickpeas and Sunny Eggs with a the chicken add-on - gotta get that protein in, after all. This was one of the most unique shakshukas I'd ever had... It literally tasted like a curry dish you might get at your local Indian restaurant, with a bit of a brunch flair to it. The curry itself had a wee bit of spice and was a bit sweet - but that could have been from the sweet potatoes. The chicken was served in a bowl on the side, which felt a bit... odd... I would've expected it to be incorporated into the main dish. It was kind of bland and a bit lukewarm, so I don't know that I'd order that again... but I would definitely order this again!

They do a great job of refilling coffee and tea in the afternoon. That's rare. The food is good, and so are the portions. Not too huge, but enough to forgive a good friend for stealing a bite. As always seems to be the case, this place is run by a restaurant group, because I have yet to see a small independent establishment pull this nonsense. Food is passable albeit not great. Just note that in the name of "transparency" the prices are hiding the actual costs behind this fee. If you want to round it out to 20% with a tip, at least the fee tells you exactly how much that is. I have to assume the 10% fee is going to increased wages because that's what I82 is about. If the restaurant group is pocketing any of that balance then they are just stealing from their staff, which might explain why the staff is not upfront about the rationale for the fee.

Gone are the blue walls and no more of the carry out feel. I remember this place had some of best bacon but you can tell the quality of food has gone out the window. I walked in and was greeted by a guy taking orders. His customer service skills were good. That was the only reason for the 2 stars. I ordered the wings and waffle, Belgian waffle and breakfast platter along with 2 drinks for $42 bucks. Not too bad. We sat at a table and the food came. Once again, the guy at the counter was great. He made sure to bring over our waffles while they were hot. That was the only part of the food that was good/decent, hence the second star. The rest is poor quality and belongs in the trash. The eggs were not real and god awful. The 8 wingettes came straight out of a freezer bag/ air fryer. TRASH. The bacon was fresh out of the microwave. I'll never ever come back. The food is that bad. If there was anyone standing outside needing food I would have happily given it to them. This place has fallen off a cliff hence the empty parking lot. It is a hard no for me.

This is more like a mom and pop type shop, nothing really appealing. I guess they more so let their food do the promoting which is cool, some places don't need a grass wall. The service was basic carryout in the hood type of service. A loud Asian lady with a couple of cooks in the back. And the ambience was just carryout in the hood status. Nothing really special. Now the prices were pretty decent no complaints there, but the food was not great to me, but the grits were really creamy. Even after they had sat for a little while they didn't thicken up. They remained creamy the entire time so I guess that was a plus but I didn't eat them because they didn't taste that good and I would have to do too much seasoning to get them to have any flavor. So that's to say I would not return.
