The first time I came I brought my older big dog, and Dr. B(rashear) spent extra time with me answering all my questions about my dog and even my other cats. Dr. Arendt is the sweetest, he took care of my kitties and made me feel better about my little rescue's heart murmur. And then there's Dr. O'Gorman. Dr. O'Gorman is like the frontline medic of the vetinary world. The Owen Hunt of small mammals. My oldest kitty had a reaction to her rabies vaccine last year, and I had to bring her for a last-minute visit to see Dr. O'Gorman, who was the only one free. He is efficient and no-nonsense, gave her a steroid shot and meds, and didn't charge us a thing. My dog had to have two large teeth extracted and as I was leaving, the vet tech said, "Dr. O'Gorman will be performing the procedure." Hell yeah. You can't go wrong with this place - even the front desk staff and techs are delightful, and they will spend as long as you need reviewing quotes, meds, and any questions you have. I'm happy to call Alliance our home vet!

They were booked and There was no Doctor to see her. I ask " Please any Doctor" Her answer was " Candy saw Dr Beyers and it had to be Dr Beyers call but Dr Beyer was booked. We are taking her to emergency today and Pray her hearing can be restored. I can't believe Animal Health Aliance did not see this as an Emergency ! knowing my little Candy had lost All her Hearing. Each review was telling my…read morestory from the moment I drove my car into the parking lot and the staff came out to assist me with removing my dog from my vehicle. They took one look at him and knew he was bad off. They immediately took my baby and rushed him to the back and begin working on him. They allowed me to stand there and observe everything they did to my King. I am a medical person and I am familiar with the processes of triage patients with emergencies. The physician performed a sonogram and began to tell me my options of care. I had to make the most difficult decision in my life. I decided not to be selfish and to have my King put to rest. This facility not only comfort me, but my family as well. They gave us a room and told us to take our time, they offered refreshments and continually checked on us. They just went out of their way with compassion and concern. I have never experienced this type of Customer Service in my entire life. It made me and my family feel heard and understood about our wishes. Once my family completed our goodbyes and they put our King to rest, they comfort my family, some even shared tears with us. They gave us things to remember our baby boy King that I will cherish forever.This hospital will always hold a special place in my heart. This is a place that I would love to work at and be proud to say that I worked there because each and every person who works in that building are Gods angels, and truly care about the animals that they treat. I will always be grateful. I know this was God's plan because it all went perfectly. Yes, I left without a dog, but I now have a new family that I would cherish with my other pets. Thank you again to each and every one of the staff who comfort my family, who gave my comforting hugs and who helped my King. Neely did full X-rays and said Rudy has asthma but I don't think he needs medication for it. And then he tells me that my Rudy may die , Neely continues to give me scenarios as to why his friends have died ! This man talked so much bs about things that are irrelevant to me and my Rudy's condition. Neely charged me 400$ just to hear him talk bs . I have talked with neighbors and they agreed that he talks way too much about nothing that pertains to pets health care. I took Rudy to another vet because this idiot Neely said he would die! I learned that country veterinarians are more knowledgeable and compassionate.. New vet said that Can't see the forest through the trees!! My Rudy was properly diagnosed and treated and doing good today. Neely wasted my time talking bs , he basically charged me to hear him talk a bunch of bs. It's like one neighbor said he talks a lot because he doesn't know shit ! I will never return to this veterinary clinic, now that Dr. Miranda is no longer there . We have been to Dr. Gwynn several times, usually for our cats, Marco & Polo…read more Once, I even brought in a turtle, that I "rescued" as it ambled across Rufe Snow. I wanted to learn what kind of turtle, and the environment I should release it (far from busy roads). I did. But this last visit was a sad one. Polo developed a tumor, on his lower jaw, several months back. Options included risky surgeries (mandibulectomy), or traditional cancer therapies (chemo), that would greatly diminish his quality of life, and only marginally extend it. We did get several evaluations, all the same, grim, recommendations. The only real option, was enjoy Polo until the growth affected his well being, and then humanly end his suffering. That day was two days ago (9/8/2020). We brought Polo in to be humanly euthanized (I really do not like the term "put to sleep"). Writing this makes me sad, so let me finish by saying Dr. Gwynn and her staff were caring and compassionate every step of the way. I was able to stay with Polo, the entire time, right up his last breath and heartbeat. Toward the end, after the first shot, a tranquilizer, he even started purring. I like to think it was because he was no longer in pain, and that he could see me, and feel me holding him. It was, and continues to be, very sad. But I (we) are happy that Polo is no longer suffering. We are very grateful to Dr. Gwynn and her staff for their help with this difficult thing to do. Bottom line: We will miss you Polo, always.

We came here to get our bun spayed, and the surgery went fine, but she was kind of rough with our girl. If she had been gentler, I probably would have switched all care to Dr. Gwynn immediately. This kind of treatment would really make me upset if it were towards my dogs, but rabbits are fragile and can literally die of a heart attack at loud noises, so this is quite a serious issue.
