She was very attentive to my complaint and was quite active in staying in touch with me and also went the extra mile with a follow-up temporary crown. I started having a toothache and went to my regular dentist who informed me that I need a root canal. Due to the pain, I needed to have this taken care of right away because I am scheduled to have surgery. I will be laid up for a while, so I don't know when I'll be able to get to the dentist after the surgery. My dentist referred me to this group, specifically, Dr. Jin Hahn. They managed to squeeze me in so that I could get this done before my surgery. They did such an incredibly amazing job. I didn't feel the injection, I had no pain or discomfort during the root canal and I've had no pain whatsoever after the root canal. It was very cheerful during the procedure as the doctor and her assistant were discussing the music that was playing. I couldn't speak because my mouth was full of all types of paraphernalia, but I would love to have joined into that conversation. I cannot say enough about this practice. If I could give it more stars than five stars, I would. Dr. Hahn was so friendly and so caring. It's very difficult to find doctors like this these days. I would highly recommend them. read more

Came in today for a root canal and was surprised by how pleasant the whole experience was. Walked in and was greeted by the receptionist who took my paperwork and then was immediately whisked into my dental room by a dental assistant. The dentist herself was extremely helpful and explained the entire procedure to me before starting the numbing process. Throughout the procedure I didn't feel a thing, and they even let me listen to music haha. All in all, I would recommend this practice and although I'd hate to have more dental problems I'd definitely come back. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I had a root canal here that the dentist broke an instrument in and then told me it was fine IT WASNT FINE! a year later after having been going back 4-5 times because of pain and given antibiotics and steroids because they said it was just inflamed, I'm told by another dentist in this practice I have a severe bone infection. this other dentist says she can fix it.. and re-does the root that was bad. I still had pain so she tells me it's the tooth behind it. without testing the tooth to confirm the tooth is bad she does a root canal on this tooth and over fills the tooth. putting root canal material into my sinus and damaging the nerve in my jaw. my regular dentist told me the tooth was fine as I had been there a month before and he had X-rays of the tooth. so I had a root canal on a good tooth. The tooth she re-did was not done correctly and still bad! I went to two other dentist who told me to report the practice and file a law suit! in the meantime no offer from the practice to help me pay for the damage they caused! I have been to oral surgeons to try and correct what was done and finally just had to remove the teeth. I am still dealing with trying to get this mess corrected 3 years later. 4 surgeries and having to remove the two teeth, still in pain and toothless! Having spent thousands of dollars! STAY AWAY! two dentist and three bad root canals cannot be a fluke! read more

This review is not for the dentist, but for the receptionist that picked up. I've heard Dr. Chen is the best at what he does so I gave them a call. The woman who picked up was quite short and rude, I wanted some details and she basically brushed me off after telling me the price. If they are going to charge $1750 for a root canal (more than even my top dentist in NYC charges) I'd expect a courteous and compassionate staff read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE. Here is why. Years back i went for a root canal in a front tooth at their ridgewood office. I just recently had to get the tooth pulled and the dentist said it was a "unfinished root canal" he stated it had no fillers in the root canal. also a couple years ago i had an emergency tooth problem on other side front tooth so i went to westwood office. The dentist jin hahn performed two root canals on infected teeth. I was in hospital that nite for 3 days with infection in my face tissues. I did not realize that she is the same dentist who performed the "unfinished root canal" earlier. Now i have to get the other two teeth pulled also because they are infected also and probably because they were unfinished root canals also. read more

Dr. Yoo was absolutely phenomenal. Extremely informative as well as gentle. I had a retreat root canal with a sever infection and felt no pain hours after the procedure. I took two doses of Motrin and Tylenol and that was it. We discussed my options as I was traveling the following week and came up with a plan that reduced my pain before we did the procedure. read more

Mid-County Endodontics is the best!! I had a root canal done 10 years ago with Dr. Pawlak and can't say enough about him. This past Friday was the start of the Labor Day weekend and I was in extreme pain and they took me in right away. X-ray showed I did need a root canal. Dr. Chen who was covering for Dr. Pawlak was AWESOME! He made you feel at ease and comfortable and explained exactly what he was doing with the procedure. I even received a follow up call that night from Dr. Chen to make sure I was doing okay. I highly recommend Dr. Chen and the Mid-County Endodontic Group. I was referred to Dr Chen by a local dentist whom performs root canals himself, although since my emergency root canal was tricky my dentist wanted me to see an "expert"!! And Dr Chen was!! I had to get my first root canal and I was extremely nervous. Dr. Chen and his assistants made me feel so comfortable and took care of me to the best of their ability. Starting from the numbing, I didn't feel one bit of the procedure and throughout the procedure, they made sure I was in good condition. I am no stranger to having root canals, in fact, I've had so many over the years I almost consider myself an expert on the experience. Dr. Jin Hahn performed my most recent root canal less than 2 hours ago. It was a difficult tooth way in the back of my mouth which made it a complicated procedure. I was dreading this appointment all day. This had to be one of the best experiences I've ever had with a root canal. It's hard to believe one can mix the words "best experience" and "root canal" in the same sentence. In this case, it's so appropriate.
