Adding to the stress, finding a specialist in northern NJ that participated in my dental plan became another challenge. I was lucky that the dentist I go to for my routine care had Dr. Lubit on the list. All this said, from the moment I made my first phone call, my questions were all handled gently, thoroughly and professionally. And then when I got to the office, I was greeted with a smile, processed quickly and brought in on time and on schedule. The office and rooms are clean, the staff is friendly when I met Dr. Lubit, he took the time to shake my hand, introduce himself, listen and explain everything to me. He anticipated all of my questions and I left my visit feeling confident about my next steps. Thanks to Dr. Lubit, the root canal procedure was performed flawlessly, painlessly and the tooth was successfully saved. Throughout the process, the doctor was extremely thorough--taking two CBCT scans and three X-rays to ensure an accurate diagnosis and the best treatment plan. What stood out just as much as the technical expertise was the doctor's bedside manner. He explained every step of the procedure in detail and patiently answered all of my questions, which made me feel comfortable and confident in the care I was receiving. The office staff was the best --friendly, easy to speak with, and very professional and kind. They consistently followed up and made the entire experience smooth from start to finish. I liked that Dr. Kim gave me the option to put on a stronger temporary cement for my crown in case I had to wait longer for my permanent. Also, I liked how Stef noticed the dental light was shining in my eyes and moved it. The office is beautiful and I liked that they didn't push any extra products. I did and found out from a reputable practitioner that East Madison exaggerated my bone loss, suggesting that I would soon lose my teeth, evidently to frighten me into agreeing to a totally unnecessary, painful and expensive procedure. I was told by my new dentist who also gently checked that my bone loss was not severe and I was not at risk for losing my teeth, dhouldI live to be 100 as long as I continue to take care of them as I have. East Madison is a multi-practice complete with endodontists and state of the art, expensive equipment and the money to pay for it all reasonably has to come from its clients. Understandable, that there would be a somewhat larger bill at such a practice if run ethically. Unfortunately, the temptation to push unneeded procedures must be high. By that Monday I received a call for a spot that opened up the same day and pricing was explained by phone. The office was easy to find with lots of parking available. The decor is clean and minimal. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The wait was very short and the assistants walked me through the X-ray process in the most pleasant way. As for Dr. David, he was so professional and conscientious. He explained my issue and showed me the x-rays on the large tv screen. He also explained his process step by step which made me very comfortable. He was also walking me through things while he was working on my tooth then he showed me before/after X-rays. This process was as close to pain free as one could get for a root canal. I was even allowed to control the suction device the entire time! And my prescription was sent to my pharmacy and made available before I even made it home. What more can you ask for except better dental insurance! I wish this level of care existed at all businesses.
