Apparently Dr. Blank works magic, because it really wasn't a painful procedure in the least. He did a wonderful job, and I would recommend him/his practice to anyone. I still have appointments on a yearly basis for them to check my gums, and the staff is amazing. The office is a bit small, but it is clean and efficient. As a side note, Dr. Blank is really a funny guy. He prides himself in being the self-proclaimed "best" at what he does. I won't disagree with him, he's pretty amazing!

He not only has a wonderful…read morebedside manner (very kind, gentle, cheery and funny) but he has been an oral surgeon for 30 years and he knows his "stuff!" I was very afraid of the procedure (blood and gore and pain) and he assured me that there would be very little blood, that he would give me numbing shots for the pain and that the pain would be minimal after the procedure. The numbing shots did hurt a bit (when doesn't a shot hurt, right?) but as soon as I was all numb, he went to work and expertly did his procedure. Afterward when I was getting ready to leave, I noticed a bigger bit of blood and mentioned it and he put me right back in the operative chair and looked into my mouth to discover a few blood clots that he suctioned out. Bleeding practically non-existent after that. Pain level was low enough that I didn't need to even take Tylenol. His office is efficient, clean and a nice place to be if one has to visit an oral surgeon. I recommend him unreservedly.

In my hindsight, they ran the estimate for treatment with a 2020 date so it came back that our benefits for the 2020 year were depleted so our out of pocket was higher. The surgery was not scheduled until 2021 though, so they ended up collecting almost double the amount from us that they needed to. The insurance company paid them on 1/18/21 and I have been trying to get a final bill out of them since. I have reached out to them three times now. Rebecca states that she is "far behind" because she keeps getting pulled to the front. She has not processed payments that are now over a month old and can give me no idea when she can do so. Conveniently for them delay is in their favor as they are holding several hundred dollars of our money hostage. I have a feeling if we owed them money, they would be in a bigger hurry to send the bill. It is unfortunate that in a time that so many households are struggling due to Covid, that this office can't put some effort into getting their act together. Beware.

Wow! This Endodontics office was so peasant. I had to get a root canal done and was living in…read morefear for the week before I went in. I have not have a root canal in 17 years. My heart was pounding as I went in the front door. I was greeted by the most kindest person, this settled my fear a little. then the Assistant came to get me. She took ex-rays and explained what was going to happen and she really put me at ease. Then I met Dr Simpson he was so pleasant and worked very quickly with the numbing which was not at all like I had remembered 17 years ago. I barely felt it the needle. When Dr Simpson told me that would be the worst of it I was skeptical but that really was the worst of it! I felt no pain or discomfort at all! Getting a root canal should definitely be done by a Professional Endodontic. I am not fearful of root canals anymore as long as it is done at Buckeye Endodontics! I had a very pleasant experience. I would have liked him to allow the numbing agent to start to work before he gave me the shot, but I just closed my eyes and let him go. It didn't really make any difference. I felt nothing. He insisted that I get a prescription for pain pills just in case but I took 2 Advil after and never, ever felt a thing. Never had to take even another Advil. I would recommend him. His office staff was really kind also.

HORRIBLE.... Stay away!!!!…read more I've attached photos to show how horrible this dentist is. I saw this dentist for ten years, thousands of dollars. I had a chip in my front tooth for years that was less than 1/16th" and Dr Dugas cut off more than half of my front tooth to fix it (see pics). He then painfully tried to match the color and was unable. I went back for a second three hour procedure and the color was unbelievably wrong again. After he saw how bad the color match was, and offered to repair it. After Dr Dugas offered to repair the damage he caused, I went back the office for the third time and was told the repair would be another $1300. Please do NOT GO TO THIS DENTIS!!! I tried to have the damage repaired by another dentist and was told it's permanent and cannot be fixed. The only reason for the five stars is the dental hygienists that work there. The actual dental work ruined my smile for life. Please pick any other dentist. I have recommended this dentist to many people, and hope they didn't have the same horrible experience I did.

And I'd recommend it for anyone who has a fear of dental work or is facing a lengthy repair. Getting all done at one time has made an enormous positive difference. I stopped going there and got a new dentist, who recently replaced a crown for me. It was $1300, with no requirements of any up front "contract." No difference in the quality of the work.
