We've had two encounters with Town & Country RV Repair and both experiences were excellent…read more 1) We were having some issues with the refrigerator in our camper. I called and spoke with the owner about it. I was wanting someone to come check it out. He asked me a few questions about the fridge and how we were using it. He then offered some suggestions about how to help it perform as it was designed. He said to call him back if those suggestions didn't work and he would come and check it out. We implemented the suggestions and have not had any issues. I appreciated him offering the suggestions over the phone instead of coming out and charging me for a trip to do the same thing. 2) More recently, we have had a lingering water leak issue somewhere around the roof. I found a couple of places where I thought water might be getting in, but over time, it was obvious that I had not found the place where it was getting in. Called and set up an appointment. They worked with me to schedule a time when someone would be at home. The techs called when they were on the way and they kept us in the loop throughout the process of doing the work. They were very courteous and professional. In less than two hours, they had found where the water was getting in (something that should have been done at the factory), corrected the issue, put everything back together, sent me before and after pictures, were paid and gone. Well worth what we paid them. Definitely recommend these guys to folks having issues with their camper/RV.

Their report stated it was a solid older unit that needed it's roof cleaned. They charged me 267.00 for bad information. I bought it on their recommendation. They are nice enough, but we will not return because of the poor service conducted by the tech…read more This included breaking our stove cover and then making a poor attempt to try to glue the pieces back together with some tacky glue and not telling anyone until we called back. Apparently, he said the top slid off of the stove when he drove it around the parking lot. Since Survived a 14 1/2 hour drive from Michigan and then the 45 minute trip to their location, and they were checking the LP system which included lighting the stove, I can only assume that he didn't put it back on correctly before moving the RV Oh, and don't get me started on him bypassing the old LP solenoid that he "has never seen before" and then throwing away our LP quick connect. I also had to re-connect wires to get power to our internal LP detector which he had disconnected. Next, they were to fix the metal awning cover and to remove a dent that was in the cover. When we finally pulled it back out of storage, and extended the awning, it had no tension on the spring at all. Again, we can only assume that he either didn't tighten the spring or over tightened it and broke the spring when reattaching the awning. It's being serviced by another dealer now and we should know for sure. There are a few other things that we had them look at that came back in worse shape than how we left it. For example the stairwell cover. He checked and said the problem was definitely the motor so we told him that we would take care of it at another time. When we checked the electrical bay afterwards, wires had been cut and left hanging. So now we have to fix that as well, and by the way, the motor was tested and it does actually work. We also had them look at the slide where we thought it might need adjusting and was told that it was in great working shape, but with the previous experiences of everything else not been fixed, we're now paranoid to try to open that. With all that said we have now taken the RV to another service facility to have these things rechecked and/or fixed. I guess we can consider ourselves lucky that the bill was only $800. Let's chalk it up to a "valuable learning lesson". Next time we will inspect what was supposed to be fixed before leaving the service center and not putting it straight in covered winter storage. Again, nice enough to talk to. But the response to each call was "bring it by and let us look at it and we'll see what we can do". That doesn't convey confidence that something will be fixed, and it's not like I can just drop the coach by like a car.

The first experience was a broken spring which in turn had broken the propane line. The second was a broken valve in the Nautilus water system. Both problems created difficulties since we are full-time RVers, but Moses was able to work us into his already crowded schedule and we were able to get underway sooner than we had expected. Tommy has done a wonderful job both times, has gone over and above our expectations, skillfully completed the jobs and all for a reasonable price. We couldn't be happier and are pleased to recommend Moses RV Repair.

They had purchased the RV on Saturday, and by Sunday night, they had no AC. We could tell that they were struggling, and it was over 100 degrees in Memphis. There was no way I was going to be in my RV, cool as a cucumber, and watch them struggle. Tommy was referred to us by Dillon at Southaven RV & Marine. Tommy came out and, seeing the situation, stepped up and replaced their converter on their rig. Tommy knew this couple was struggling financially, and we paid for the repair. Tommy donated his time and didn't charge for installation or a service call. He truly helped people out in a time of need, and if we are ever in Memphis, Tommy is our guy. When was the last time a company stepped up and helped people in need? Tommy and his team are trustworthy and respectable individuals. May you continue to be blessed, Tommy, for all you did today for that couple.

Sunday after church, we stopped in and met with a salesman who showed us all of the ones I picked out. It happened to be the last Sunday of the month, so the banks and service department were open. A few hours later, we towed home a 21 foot Keystone Hideout with a slide out. We were limited on size and weight due to my boyfriend's Tacoma and my 4 Runner's towing capacity. The size is really perfect for us, and it's so cute and comfortable! After we met with someone else who explained everything from GS campgrounds, warranties, and maintenance, I signed all of the paperwork. Then another guy walked us around and helped us pick out the other things we needed like a sewer hose and tp. They had great deals on things like camping chairs and grills and the prices were really as inexpensive as you can buy anywhere else. I picked out some cutesy decor for ours, and since I knew it would have a hula skirt and fake palm tree, I picked out some plastic pink flamingos and lights to go with it. I really wish I had known then what I know now about the meaning of pink flamingos in a campground. Not judging if that's your thing, but it's not ours. After we finished shopping, they had everything hooked up and ready to go. We did a quick walk thru to learn about my new camper, and they called the next week to make sure we were satisfied and didn't have any questions about it. Camping World made the whole process easy and convenient from the minute we walked in the door. We were very pleased with our experience. Weekends at the lake in the camper will be so enjoyable for us, the dogs, my grandson, and our family and friends. We plan to make even more memories taking it on road trips this fall. Even my mama will be blessed by it because I'm gifting her those pink plastic flamingos for her yard.
