The suv in front of me was getting multiple services which the manager knew before I got there. While I waited behind the suv four cars went thru the bay I was in when I got there. I believe the manager got upset because he couldn't upsell me to a $101.00 oil change. This is the Valvoline I always come to. Only second time I've seen this manager. The other employees are extremely polite and professional. First time I encountered this same manager 3 oil changes ago I told him I have my owners manual in the glove box and checked the oil I required from the Chevrolet website. He thinks I should take his word over theirs. In any event, he does not get to inconvenience a repeat customer because they don't allow him to upscale them.

We had just purchased our daughter a 2014 Ford Focus and wanted to make sure it had everything it needed, starting with a fresh oil change. We pulled into the open bay and the Representative explained what he and the staff would be doing to the car. He explained they would check the fluids, check the battery, top off the fluids and change the oil. He had recommended a radiator flush, which I declined at first. But after some consideration, I decided to purchase this service also. The work was done fairly quickly and we had been told everything had been checked. We left there feeling confident everything was fine. This feeling vanished after we parked the car in our garage. The car made clicking and whirring noises. Finally, after several minutes, everything shut down. I had suspected the battery had went dead, but how could that have happened when it had been checked? Unfortunately, (according to the 2 invoices we had received), it had NOT. Neither the Rep nor his staff checked the battery. If they had, they could have told us we needed a new one. That, alone would have saved us so much time and aggravation. Our daughter's newly purchased 2014 Ford Focus was STUCK in our garage for almost a day and a half. We had to contact AAA and purchase a battery from them, just to get the car out of our garage. The entire experience cost us time, $174.00 for a brand new battery, one car stuck in our garage, and a store which seemingly can't do what they had promised. Please do yourself (and your car) a huge favor: AVOID this place, at all costs.

Fast forward 2 months, my engine is making noises and overheating. Take it to a shop to get looked at, mechanic went to replace the oil pan and 2 quarts of engine coolant came out first then the oil. Meaning, they put coolant in the engine and then put the oil on top costing me a $1500.00 repair bill! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!

First, Cam, the store manager was amazing. He was friendly, knowledgeable and even gave us a great deal. The tires we were looking at cost more than the promotion on better tires, and he let us know. We were able to get the better tires and drove the car home (to our garage), Saturday. Saturday night, we found out the new front passenger tire had gone completely flat. Sunday morning, we called AAA, who put the spare on, and I made an online appointment with Tire Discounters -- same location. Monday morning, I contacted John and explained the situation. Not only did they pick up the vehicle, they fixed the tire and looked over the car to make sure everything was running right. They also fixed a heating problem due to a radiator flush. They dropped off the car the same day, which provided my family and I much needed peace of mind. I can't thank them enough for all the hard work they put in for our family's new addition. Thanks to Cam, John and the rest of the crew at this Tire Discounters facility. I would HIGHLY recommend this location to take your vehicle. You will be glad you did.

I have been getting my oil changes done here for the past 2 years…read more Back in the spring, I had a problem with my 2014 Jeep Compass, not accepting gas. Took it to Truman, at Meineke. He figured out something ( I don't know technical terms!) to make it accept gas, and charged me a minimal price, since we didn't know if it would last. Well, in September, it happened again!! He did more intense evaluation, & tweaked it, but unfortunately this didn't last long, either. I took it back on October 11; he figured out what was hopefully the problem, and charged me $0 . Even if it happens again(I hope it doesn't!), I won't blame Truman, because they did such a great job along with their excellent customer service, they will still have me as a client for any other issues!! LOVE Truman & MEINEKE ON COLERAIN!

Update I am increasing my Meineke review from 1 star to 2…read morestars because they reached out to me and asked how they can make it right. They offered an oil change. I suggested the oil change (because they overfilled it), plus actually, you know, fixing the exhaust hole. They called me, unable to find the hole. I suggested they start the car and feel for exhaust. I hate that I, the non-mechanic, had to suggest that, but it worked and they found the hole. So they put a foil patch over it with a couple of clamps instead of replacing the pipe (See picture attached). So $800 gets a muffler, a bracket welded on, and a foil patch these days. It took three trips to Meineke plus one trip to another mechanic to fix the axle damage. Would I recommend them? No, no I would not. =============== My old muffler rusted through, so I went to Meineke to get it fixed. They did the work for a bit over $800 and sent us on our way. The car was still making a lot of noise, so we brought it back. They told us it was because the engine was low on oil and they topped it off and sent us away again. Now the oil is about an inch above the full line and it was still making all the noise. I took it to another mechanic and looked at it myself while it was on the lift. The picture of what I saw is attached. The muffler mount was rubbing directly against the rear axle. It wore through the metal clamp that held the boot in place. My mechanic bent it away from the axle and zip tied the boot back in place. That took care of 3/4 of the noise. The rest was because of a hole in the exhaust pipe about a 18" before the muffler. Next on my to-do list is to buy some replacement pipe and suction out some oil. This is basic stuff at a premium price and they couldn't even get it half right. I'm not impressed. I've attached a pic of the work, including the welding that looked like it was done by an amateur.

I was charged over 444.00 plus I had to leave my vehicle, so I needed an Uber ride and a rental car in addition to the car repair. Well 3-4 visits after picking up my car and still having a major oil leak still, I had to end up taking my vehicle to the dealer! And I had to pay them to do what URBs claimed they had done. I took my vehicle back several times just to be lied to or blown off about the oil I was continually seeing from my car and having to add oil so I wouldn't blow my motor. I took the receipt to URBs and requested a refund and was told the GM would contact me. Well I am still waiting for the call. Don't waste your money or time going to the URBs location in Cheviot. So disappointed and upset.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I had them fix my transmission. They kept my vehicle for 4 weeks the first time…read morewith the excuse that the first transmission they put in was faulty. We had to keep calling to find out what the delay was. When we finally got out vehicle back, we had it for 1 day before it began spewing transmission fluid all over the ground and locked up. Guy said that the O ring and one of the lines hadn't been connected properly by him. They kept our vehicle for another 3 weeks with vague responses to questions. Finally got the vehicle back after almost 2 months and the next day the transmission locked up again. Contacted Guy and he said he would refund the money we paid then went radio silent for another 5 weeks. Finally threatened with a lawsuit and got the refund. Still need a transmission but out over 2k in rental car fees while they kept the car. I WOULD NEVER EVER TAKE A VEHICLE TO THEM AGAIN. NOT EVEN FOR AN OIL CHANGE.
