When I made appointment and upon drop off I told them that the rear O2 sensor was causing the check engine light and that a leak in the exhaust was next to it. They charged me $130 for information I already new. They charged $100 for 10 minute of work to replace the sensor. Then they charged me $250 for the part that cost them $90.21. If I bought that same part it would of costed my only $157.59. That is almost 3x the price of the part. I went to the manager and all he stated.."You did agree to the repair" and stated that I don't know what they paid for the part. However, I do know someone who was able to look up the cost. I'll never use Midas again...Make sure you check cost of parts and service prior to every visiting them. In addition, I question now if the sensor was defective at all as I did have a hole in the exhaust in which the sensor detected. I should of asked to observe the testing after they welded the holes, did they reset the original sensor and then test it again to see if the light stayed off. Next time I will know better as the bill would of been only $200 verses $568. read more

Went in for an oil change, they stripped the drain plug didn't inform me or anything. Didn't find out until my next oil change when the mechanic at Firestone told me plug was stripped. Wasn't gonna ask them to replace it, but they could've said " hey u need a new plug or something....smh read more

This is by far the best midas I've been too. Their customer service is top notch. A month ago they fixed my AC and a couple days ago it stopped working so I took it back in and they fixed it again free of charge. I really appreciate that service. We are in absolute disbelief and completely disgusted with this company ESPECIALLY with Eric Tapia. As a woman , they probably assumed that I didn't know much about my vehicle . I went in for an oil change and about thirty minutes into it, they call me to tell me that something is seriously wrong with my car and that my brakes were metal on metal. They were very adamant about it being an emergency and that I needed to get it fixed THAT DAY so I hurried back. They proceeded to tell me when I arrived that going on and continuing to drive that day was 'dangerous' and the likelihood of my car being able to stop was very low . They also tried telling me that my air filter needed replacing which was when I started feeling suspicious being that it was replaced last week. Thankfully, my stepdad happens to be a mechanic and has been for 20 years . I let them know that I'd be back and they said they'd give me a call the next day because they were concerned for my safety. We did an inspection on the car and the brakes have a solid year left and are FAR from being metal on metal. Not to mention, my oil was filled nearly a quart more than it's supposed to be . Stay far away from this company that takes advantage of people. read more

Don't trust this place..... #1 decided to give them a shot as I got a coupon from King Soupers for a $19.99 oil change and tire rotation. Show up they tell me my $19.99 coupon is actually a $10.00 off coupon so now I'm paying $28.00 for the $19.99 coupon. I said "ok, let a do this". #2 I get my car back it seemed ok. But the next day I began to drive my vehicle and my steering wheel is shaking like crazy(and no it never did that before). I call Midas to let them know about my car issue. Spoke to Rusty (MOD) who told me it's a wheel balance issue. I told him it never did this before(I could understand if I did have it off balance to begin with but I assure you it wasn't). He flat out told me it's my issue not his... I told him I want my tires rotated back to the way they were before. So had to show up the next day in the am to do this. So I paid $28 for an oil change. What really amazed me is the terrible customer service I got from this manager over the phone. I might have been able to see things his way and I might have even paid for 1/2 of wheel alignment but this was never discussed. I can assure you I will stick with my Walmart oil changes and will go else where for my tires needs. read more

My wife took our car there and dropped it off to get serviced due to the brakes squealing when the car was in reverse. Several hours later they called my wife back and told her that the brakes needed to be replaced along with some rotor work, replace a brake light, struts where bad, and a pipe was leaking. All together would cost around $1200.00. My wife then said that we know we need to get the brakes replaced so whats the bare minimum we need to replace to be safe. He said we should replace the brakes, get the rotors worked on and "fix the little pipe that was leaking" and get the brake light fixed. My wife was under the impression that the fixing the pipe was not that expensive with the way he described it. So when she got home and we started looking at our statement, he flushed the brakes, which is not essential, for $80.00 and the little pipe, which he described as one little pipe happened to be the sway bar, and not one charge, but TWO charges for $114.00. I feel as though this is a deceptive and manipulative practice to coerce customers without giving them the full disclosure of what is happening with their vehicle. To top it all off, THEY DID NOT EVEN REPLACE THE BRAKE LIGHT!!!! Needless to say we are very unhappy and will never go back there again and we are telling anyone who asks us to STAY AWAY! read more
