I had an appointment at 1:30 today 4/28/25 to get my tires rotated, at 3 o'clock my truck was still sitting in the bay with nothing going on, I asked the man what the status was on my truck and he tells me that the tires were scalloped and they need to be replaced, at that point I told him I was upset that I've been waiting an hour and a half and he had not approached me. I had my car towed to here. They did the work, and in a timely manner. The bill however was unacceptable. I was charged $397 for an ignition control module. When searching the part number I was able to gather multiple prices across multiple suppliers for the same part. The mean average price across 10 different suppliers is $187. I was charged $210 more than the part is worth. This business is dishonest and unreasonable. I could buy two ICM and still have $23 left over. This is of course on top of massive labor rate of $200/hr. They make $50-$100 more per hour than most shops. The average price of this repair is $300-$400. My total was $730. They rip their customers off blind. read more

Wanted to get 4 tires. Brought car in and they said to leave it and would call me with price. I had already looked it up on their site and price was $811.71 for 4 Goodyear Wranglers. Guy called and told me the price was $1,130. Told him it must be a mistake. He insisted that was correct and he couldn't give them to me for the price on their website. Said he would look into the price on the website. I told him to forget it. I called Sullivan tire and their web quote came in for $838.46. He ran it on his computer and it came back at $837.54. On my way home from work my keep didn't feel right. I also smelled something burning. I made it home. I just felt real uneasy about how the car was driving. I called Midas and spoke to James who said I could bring the car right in. Of course on my way there I didn't smell anything but car still rode funny. when I got there I told James I am probably wasting your time because I don't smell anything. He still took a look. He called me over to smell the wheel well of my front tire. There was the smell. He said it was my brakes. I asked if I could make an appointment to have the car repaired. He said he could do it now. My car was fixed within the hour. Momo did the repair. There was also a third man there who also was helping ( I didn't catch his name). All three of them were awesome. In my opinion this is THE WORST place to take your car. I live in the local area and brought 3 cars there for repair in the past several months. I was quoted one price on my repair and once my car was on the lift they told me they broke a part and the price of my repair DOUBLED!!!! The 2 other vehicle repairs which were in the hundreds of dollars ...broke AGAIN and needed to be fixed by another mechanic after the tech as well as the owner denied responsibility!!!! DO NOT GO TO MIDAS if you believe my review!!! I am appalled at their lack of skill as well as their lack of customer service!!! They've charged me twice for the same part, made an older belt worse, and will only speak to my husband, because "women don't get it." I am beyond livid. I visited this shop on 6/15/20 for the promotional oil change and tire rotation for $17. This location was not participating. I had been here several times before for the buy 5 oil changes at reg price, $22, and get the 5th free, so I figured how much can it be. Big mistake, after the service was done, the counter person says $72! I said no, really? He says $72. Says that my Jeep Cherokee has an extra quart of oil and the filter is a cartridge that costs $12, it's $4.88 at Walmart. So if the tech is paid at $25 an hr, probably closer to $17, that's 15 mins for the rotation, so labor would be about $20 for the labor and $12 for the filter and $6 for the oil, how do you get $72? No wonder they're NOT participating in the promotion, if they were they couldn't RIP YOU OFF! Oh and an email to Midas corporate got nothing not even a response! think I'm going there again? NOT ON YOUR FUCKING LIFE! read more

DISHONEST Needed a wheel bearing replaced. They quoted me a total price of $300. I left the car there and when I got home they called me and told me they misquoted me and now the part alone was going to be $400. $540 total. I checked on-line and found the parts for way less. When I told them not to fix it, they told me that they already took it apart and wouldn't be able to get it back together again without a new bearing. Then they told me they would call around to see if they could find a better price and would call me right back. 2 1/2 hours later they called to tell me it was all set. I get there and was indeed charged $540. They knew I needed other work done after getting the wheel bearing fixed and should have known that the smart business decision would have been not to charge me for the labor and $25 "shop supples" since they weren't going to honor their quote. I then would have felt like it was an honest mistake instead of feeling like I've been taken for a ride. read more

Great experience at this Midas. I have been there a couple of times for both brakes and tires and everything went smooth and orderly. I recently had a flat tire almost directly across the street. I got the car into the lot and the owner and a tech quickly assessed it and found the hole which they immediately plugged and got me on my way in record time. If I could give zero stars I would. I brought my car in for my tiring going flat... I was then told I needed to replace the right control arm on my vehicle, they did the work and used the wrong bolt to secure it. The first time I picked up my car the tire was still flat and the cars stirring was not aligned; to the point where it was not drivable. I left it to be aligned and told them about the flat tire. I picked it up and everything was okay until guess what the tire was still going flat... It ended up being a nail, but was the original reason I brought it in. Fast forward a few more days, now I'm having issues with my car pulling to the right as I drive. I call and explain the issue and say I think it's the control arm, they say that couldn't be. So, I took it elsewhere and well it was, they used the wrong size bolt to hold it together. If I hadn't gotten it looked at my tire could have fallen off. The bolt was starting to bend. They only reimbursed me for half of the work it took to fix the issue. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE! read more

Was having what I thought was transmission trouble with my truck. Went fishing down the cape and it got MUCH worse. Stopped in to see if they would change the transmission fluid so I could make it home. They diagnosed the problem to find it was the Throttle sensor. Here I am thinking I'm looking at a $2000.00 transmission job only to find out it was a $187.00 sensor. I walked out of this place doing the happy dance. Very professional. Would highly recommend. I asked to have my car checked for any leaks because I noticed stains on my driveway. All they did was put it on the lift and noticed zero leaks. For that the desk worker said that they were charging me $30.00 for a "diagnostic" fee. Total nonsense nothing was performed but a 2 minute visual. It used to be $15.00 which was reasonable. In these times where unemployment is so high they raise their prices. Complete nonsense. Zero adherence to the face mask and six feet rules of social distancing as well. The competition up the street at the newly renovated Pete's Master Muffler said that they wouldn't charge a dime for the exact same thing. When I explained this to the desk clerk all he offered was $10 off a future oil change which I also think is way too much. I will be bringing my business elsewhere from now on. Don't go to a place that takes advantage of a pandemic to use as an excuse to charge more. They should be ashamed of them selves. read more

Went in last week to have my front end struts replaced (09 jeep Cherokee).. called to get a verbal quote after already getting quotes from other shops, who all quoted between $500-600. Which was the same when I called them. So I dropped my jeep off, got a call a couple hours later telling me the total would be $1,200! He said the price for parts was around $980. Which is marked up like 300%. Absolutely insane. Of course I said no thanks and picked my car up, not after having to pay $15 for nothing at all considering I already got the car diagnosed. Their prices are awful. Went to Meineke less than 3 miles down the road, paid half the price & wasn't ripped off! I suggest not going here unless you enjoy being ripped off. read more

Wouldn't bring an oil change there....brought my jeep there because radiator froze, told them to replace radiator, thermostat and check water pump. $640.00 later and next day, water pump leaking, called and was told it didn't leak when it was there and I might have damaged it when it froze.
