I couldn't believe it! I had to send a box out so it was a good time to see for myself. I was greeted by Christopher who was simply the best. He alone is a great reason to come to this location. He not only took care of me he also patiently answered my questions on delivery and pick up times. Before me the was another customer which he gave great customer care to also. Do not rent storage from here!! Please please beware. After…read moreonly a few months from renting here I realized it is extremely humid! Even for climate control. A few months later there was a pretty bad storm & it flooded. I would only visit my storage about 1-2 times a month & honestly didn't check on my storage after flooding happened. I wasn't even aware it flooded in that area. Nevertheless, when I did check on my storage one of my cart board boxes was damp and full of mold. As well as my daughters old car seat and an igloo cooler from the outside. It was outside of office hours so was unable to contact someone until the next day. The office worked explained to me that I would have to go in person to file an insurance claim as they had to check out and fill out paperwork for the damage. I called a Friday, Monday was a holiday and Tuesday when I went up to the facility to show them the damage my storage space had been gone through and coincidentally the box of damaged, moldy clothing was gone! As well as a folding table, a portable electric power bank worth almost $400, a ton of my camping gear (batteries, lamps, lights, butane tanks etc) Coincidence not. The worker blamed me & insisted someone must of had a spare key. I showed her all 3 of the keys were on my key fob & i was the only adult in my home. She basically brushed me off & then couldn't file an insurance claim with the insurance. I also couldn't file a theft claim because my lock was in perfect condition & not tampered with at all. They claim they don't have your keys but this is obviously untrue. I know for a fact there Is absolutely no way that ANYONE had a spare key and even less of a way for anyone to know my storage number! There was nothing of value in there. Just camping stuff, a few tubs of old clothing my daughters had parted from and old home decor. I should of terminated my contract then but in at fault for not doing it then. A few months later a small tornado hit the area & the establishment failed to even notify anyone. A few weeks after the tornado I went to my storage to find out the facility had been hit & over half of the storage spaces had been affected. Roof ripped off, doors completely gone, items, clothing, all kinds of articles everywhere & just an absolute mess. It was honestly sad and I felt so disrespected not only for myself but for some of the families with bigger spaces that had stuff just gone through, wet or completely destroyed. What kind of company doesn't even send out a simple email explaining the incident or even suggesting to check out your storage space for damage or mold. My space was without electricity and almost all the clothing in the space was taken out molded even though it was in tubs. We live in humid-a** Houston! I grabbed moved all my crap the very next. Went down the street at the uhaul storage on beltway 8 & redbluff for a 10x5 for $41 (was in a 5x5 for $30) This place has REAL AC temperature control units, it's indoor, might be on a higher floor but they even provide trolleys to transport your items and they have an elevator. Save yourself the headache. Check out their prices online and reserve through the website for the cheaper rate. Don't fall into this place, I promise you it floods and they don't care about your stuff!! Not only that but they somehow get into units and STEAL!!!!
