This is similar to chipotle but for Shawarma We were able to customize each of our bowls, but everybody pretty much got chicken or beef with the rice and all the toppings. Everything tasted really fresh. It was prepared quickly, and it was fresh. The staff was kind assisting with telling us the best way to dress our bowls, garlic, hummus, and dill sauce. A casual quick grab restaurant very clean with a small parking lot

i got takeout here, a falafel bowl. it was my first time trying their food and it's delicious! i put my order in while there and they seemed super busy but didn't make me wait long at all. the staff was very personable and nice. oh and the amount of food you get for the price u pay is amazing. i'll definitely be back!

There were so many hairs in the bowl. Short white beard hairs . Absolutely disgusting. Will not be returning. Please put a hairnet on ur beard

I ordered food from this restaurant for delivery, so I cannot speak to the customer service or ambiance. When my order arrived at my doorstep, my boyfriend and I were shocked at how large the bowls were. We were pleasantly surprised! I made a custom shawarma bowl with lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle, chicken, steak, feta cheese, and garlic sauce. All the flavors are delicious! My boyfriend got basically the same thing but with just chicken and no cheese. Everything was fresh and crisp. My boyfriend said he's had better garlic sauce but still liked it. We got their dillio sauce on the side cuz we weren't quite sure what it was. Turns out it is basically ranch with dill flavor. The regular dillio sauce was tasty! We accidentally ordered a spicy version of it and it had good flavor but was just a little too spicy for us. Overall, will absolutely order from here again and will visit inside when in the area. Very happy with our order!

I wasn't phased by the 2 chicken shawarma wraps I ordered costing about $23.00. I requested extra garlic sauce & veggies, and I'm pretty sure I got charged for it. However I'd still recommend this restaurant. My food was fresh,delicious and generously portioned with the well seasoned tender grilled chicken breast. One chicken shawarma is enough for two. I'm just being greedy because it's delicious and I haven't eaten all day. Check Middle Eats out. The chicken shawarma is HUGE, and it's delicious. Restaurant staff was smiling and friendly,so I tipped 3.50 for takeout.

I got carry out from here. One Trifecta Bowl (shrimp, chicken and steak shawarma, and one bowl with chicken and steak shawarma and the spicy sauce. Both were amazing. The food is cooked fresh and well seasoned. The steak was very tender. The sauces on the bowls were packed with flavor and the spicy sauce had a good kick without being overpowering. Veggies were fresh too. The bowls may seem a bit pricey, but the food is fresh and the portions are large. Also- I got extra garlic paste sauce and added it in which was delicious. Service was friendly. You can see the kitchen and cooks and it was very clean.

First time here and definitely won't be the last! I ordered a chicken Shawarma bowl and had garlic sauce added. The garlic sauce. I don't even know where to begin. It was incredible! I really do like garlic and this was absolutely was perfect. The chicken was extremely flavorful and well cooked. My own personal preference, but I do like protein that has a little bit of a char on it. There was a mix of tender juicy chicken bites, and also some with a char. I'd like to say next time I come here I will try something different but I doubt it. The chicken Shawarma bowl was so good that that is going to be my go to order every time.

Tried this place for the first time today and it was delicious ! I got the chicken shawarma bowl, it was a big portion, I have left overs for lunch. The food was fresh and I hardly had a wait. Everything inside was nice and clean and the girl working the counter was very nice. I can't wait to go back. I asked for my hummus on the side which they were happy to do and I also had the garlic sauce which was awesome. read more

This place is sooooo fantastic! Their steak salad bowl is my favorite! I love how you can customize anything. Their chicken and steak are just soo flavorful. I highly recommend if you love fresh and healthy food that you don't have to make P.S. make sure you get the dillio sauce on everything and add a side of spicy dilio but make sure you use sparingly because it is very spicy! read more

Let me start off by saying that there is an OVERWHELMING number of restaurants that serve shawarma in the area. Plenty of them are good, but Middle Eats is outstanding. I can easily say that this is now my favorite place for shawarma. First time trying it, and what sets them apart from the others are their fresh takes on the Classic Shawarma. Our family tried the Shawarma bowl, Loaded Shawarma Fries, and a Spicy Chicken Shawarma Wrap. Everything was delicious. We also all ordered smoothies and an order of Cajun seasoned fries. The French fries were cooked perfectly. Everything had so much flavor. I recommend adding a 4oz bottle of the garlic sauce because that stuff is amazing and good on everything!!! I can't say enough great things about this place. Can't wait to go back and try more! read more

the coworkers are absolutely friendly and amazing but unfortunately the food wasn't the best. we couldn't finish with the bowl, they should add lamb on the menu and the garlic sauce was too plain, need more garlic to make it more flavorful in the bowl. chicken was pretty decent but beef is alrighty. i wouldn't go there again:(. they should give us more pita bread because it wasn't enough even we paid pretty little bit expensive but not worth it to order it again. read more

I stopped into Middle Eats because I was craving some middle eastern food and let me tell you, this place is the perfect spot. They literally offer everything from sandwiches, wraps, bowels and salads. Their sauces are delicious and unique. I even had the banana pudding parfait and it was delicious. I saw the reviews on Middle Eats and decided to give it a try. I tried the steak and chicken bowl it was exceptional. I enjoyed the tender steak and the chicken was delicious also. The yellow rice was a complement to the meat my wife had the chicken bowl and was very happy with it. I'm probably leaning closer to a 4 star but I feel like I gotta balance out all these exaggerated 5 stars that are probably all friends of the owners or something. Is this good? Yeah it's good. I mean I enjoyed it for the most part. But all these people saying "it's the best shawarma I've ever had" or "it's better than all the other middle eastern places in Detroit"...pffftt no... this is fast food, and it's good for what it is but I'd only rate it a slightly better than "meh" The pita...not good. Cold and tasteless it was a waste of a side. I've had better pita at the super market. As for the service, the girl honestly gave me a bit of an attitude bc I didn't hear her call my name. It's echoey as hell in there and hard to hear. I dunno, eat here if you're in the mood for Shawarma and in a hurry I guess but there are hundreds of better options around. read more

If you're in the area I suggest you seriously consider giving this place a try, it was amazing!! I got a steak shawarma bowl and it was delicious. The best part was that as someone celiac (strictly GF) I was asking them if anything in the bowl contained gluten. They said the rice did actually have orzo in it, which immediately bummed me out because that meant it couldn't eat it. They quickly offered the most amazing solution. They offered to make a fresh batch of rice without orzo so that it was safe for me to eat! Seriously! What place makes new fresh rice to accommodate someone's food needs? Instead of taking responsibility, she questioned why I needed my food prepared a certain way, as if I had to justify my allergy. That is completely unacceptable. No one should ever be made to feel uncomfortable or dismissed for protecting their health. This is also the only location I've ever had issues with. Other locations handle gluten allergies just fine, which makes it clear this is a staff training and management problem, not a customer issue. To make matters worse. No care at all for kerning. Formatting just completely all over the place. 5-6 different kinds of fonts? Just skipping an image on a single main menu item for some reason. If I seen this shit before ordering online I'm dead serious I would have just walked right out. You're better off just sticking to the chalkboard on the right. Brackets and parentheses for no good or logical reason whatsoever. Text just stretched to any random sizing. I got to my car and made tears from laughing at it. It is THAT bad. Take appetizing pictures of your food. This might reflect back on the menu for a second, but it's 100% centered around meat options and literally nothing else. No one is just ordering meat and rice. That's an appetizing thought for children. Your meatball bowl picture literally just shows a handful of meatballs sitting on rice. Come on now, really? Get some pictures with some ingredients. When literally anything anyone orders comes out it looks better than the shit you're trying to sell it as. It makes no sense. I love that all the additional toppings are as cheap as they should be, but you've got to at least create some bowl variations (again, something Middle Eats isn't even good at, but they've got the basics handled). Call them clever things. Don't go too overboard and turn what should be 5 things into 30 things. Just use the creations as a way to showcase variations. The in-store menu doesn't even disclose the other toppings and ingredients for some reason. People can always choose to omit or substitute the stuff they don't like. The image you have going is that you just sell plain ass meat on top of rice. This place is actually pretty damn good and has a whole lot of potential. My advice to them is to go to Middle Eats. It's almost the same business model. They're killing it. In all honestly I don't think the way they do things is all the perfectly optimized and yet they're 1000 miles ahead of where you guys are. Go and take notes. I really think you could be doing what they're doing but even better. Shit, if you have any change ideas or a new menu to review send it my way and I'll help you guys out a bit for free. Admittedly I'm kind of an expert when it comes to this stuff. Edit: Just a fun note to mention. My friend actually walked out after seeing the menu lol.
