She is family now and I couldn't manage without her. Home Instead takes all the paperwork off my plate. That's the way to go, too! I'm so pleased with this company. I got in, single tooth X-ray, crown filed down a bit (pressing too much against my other tooth, inflating my Tinnitus), and reattachment), and was out by 2:13. However, I'm a bit apprehensive, as I had a female dentist. And, I don't know if she had the hand strength to properly press the crown into position (though, it feels great, and no apparent problem with the bite). The last female dentist couldn't. So, fingers Xed. What was cool, the X-ray machine looked like a Radar Gun used by police for speeders. Though, definitely pricey. $252.00 + 3% sercharge for using a CC. But, from what I understand in chatting with others, it's standard. And, in FL, it's more expensive. However, for the first time in 40+ years of going to the dentist, they didn't try to talk me into getting something else done. But, definitely will go back to them.

Yet, come 4:30, I was still waiting to be called in. And, a few minutes later, I was. But, then the wait for the Dr/PA/NP began (about 10 minutes) Now, I had originally come here for getting my medical waiver for jury duty, and a refill prescription. However, after the NP (it wasn't until after I got my discharge paperwork, that I knew the name, and the position of the provider, as she did not introduce herself. And, even though the staff wore ID badges, their name is printed too small for these old eyes to read). Due to a miscommunication on the phone, they are not allowed to sign jury duty excuses. But, only an excuse for missing work. But, fortunately, I was able to get a refill on an older prescription from my other PCP. So, not a total waste of time. But, still a bit irritating, since the place really didn't seem that busy (only two people before me, with two others coming out during that time). But, there are auto communication system needs a little bit of work. Today (Tuesday), I get a text asking me how I feel. I responded, OK. Then, the auto reply was, We are glad you're feeling better (rolls eyes). LoL While I'm happy that my insurance covered it 100%, I have to wonder about the place, as upon reviewing my discharge paperwork, the prescription refill for a hand dermatitis, indicates Pediatric (eek). And, despite their website advertising, 8-8/7 days-a-week, that IS NOT true here! And, that can be a problem for some people: Monday through Friday, 7:30-7:30. Saturday, 8:30-5. And, Sunday, 10-4 . But, despite this, nice to know there is an Urgent Care that accepts my insurance.

I saw Peachtree's reviews on YELP so I went to their website. I was able to make an appointment for later that day. Everyone that worked there was very nice and professional. We saw the nurse practitioner within 15 minutes of arriving. She suggested a couple shots and then sent us home with a few prescriptions. We were in and out in under an hour (20 minutes was due to us having to wait to make sure he didn't have an allergic reaction to the shots). We are self pay and dont have traditional insurance, the price was a little steep but it covered the visit and the shots. And honestly - now that we are on the road trip and he is not squirming in pain - it was worth every penny. Its also been a very long time since we have been to an urgent care so the price may actually be reasonable these days. lol. Thanks Peachtree. I hope to never need you again but wont hesitate to come back if the need arises.
