I first visited the office of Gary Foresman, M.D. onJuly 23, 2019. I had an initial evaluation by Jessica Joslyn, Physicin's Assistant, followed by numerous and thorough blood tests; a treatment plan was developed. I arranged for a follow-up appointment with Jessica on Monday, June 29, 2020. Since the office does not take Medicare I pay for my consultations up front in cash. For this telephone consultation I paid $175.00 by credit card in advance over the phone at 2:00 p.m. Jessica was scheduled to call me at 2:15 p.m. By 3:00 p.m. I had not received a call. I called the office to determine what the delay was. I had waited for Jessica for 45 minutes or more in the past at in-office appointments so I had assumed that she was held up with another patient and would call me after.) When I reached the office I was told that she had been trying to reach me during the 45 minutes and I had not answered. I told them that I had been sitting, waiting with my phone in hand. They found that they had written my cell phone number down incorrectly in their records and had been calling a wrong number. They then told me that the next available appointment I would be able to have would be in August, a full six weeks out in the future. Since I was available for the consultation and they were not able to reach me due to an error in their records, I asked them to credit my visa card for the $175.00 charge. They refused! They indicated that I should have called the office to inquire why they hadn't called earlier than 45 minutes and intimated that it was somehow my fault that the consultation didn't go through. They said they would hold my money as a credit to my next appointment in August. This meant that I would have paid out money 6 weeks in advance of any services rendered. This didn't make any sense to me, since I wasn't at fault for the consultation not going forward and I hadn't received anything for the $175.00 I paid out. When I expressed my need to have that refund put through, they again refused. Needless to say, I have severed my relationship with this office. I would not recommend this office to anyone. read more

This facility started out as a wonderful resource for people that were looking for alternative therapies and unconventional medical treatment. It is turned into nothing but a bloodsucking money thieving waste of time. Fees have gone up astronomically even though all contact is been revoked and all appointments are remote they insist on using their own lab at astronomical prices. Hypocrite. This doctor doesn't accept insurance of any kind, let alone any public insurance program like MediCal. Yet, he righteously spouts his liberal politics in correspondence with his patients, including supporting Obamacare. I remember sitting through my first (expensive) hour with him thinking, he's doing all the talking and not giving me a chance to ask questions. Dr. Foresman has the ego of a cardiac surgeon and the politics of Elizabeth Warren. Dr. Foresman is the best doctor I have even been to in my 3/4 of a century on this earth -I will be moving from the central past and the only thing I will miss is him- you have to understand he is trying to make you well by filling you with "big pharma"medications some which will only make you sicker-if you listen to him and follow his supplement regimen and other lifestyle advise you will be amazed at how well you will feel and in addition he cares about you and listens -even though he talks a lot it is because he is through. Most people are not used to a doctor taking time to review their blood test -but he actually breaks down every line on the blood test and explains it and tells you what he prescribes for items listed and treatments to bring your numbers to normal-the average person wants a doctor to prescribe a pill and send them home and all that does is relive what is going on from the surface -he is treating you to get well-something most people are not familiar with they just want a quick fix -so go to any other doctor down the street there are many of them that will give you a 15min appointment and bill your insurance and send you on your way with medication that will mess up something else in your body instead of trying to cure you with supplements and lifestyle changes -it takes work and dedication from the patient to want to get well or get a quick fix -in 15 minutes and a pill read more

This is THE place to go for medical help. Dr. Foresman is an outstanding physician. He is so knowledgeable and a compassionate, caring doctor...a hard combination to find. The Offices at Middle Path are in a charmingly, remodeled old house; so unlike the sterile medical offices elsewhere. The entire staff at Middle Path are super people. Richard is the Controller in the Tower. He never misses a beat scheduling appointments, changing appointments, and doing whatever needs to be done to get you into seeing the doctors at Middle Path. We have gone to Middle Path for a number of years now. Dr. Foresman and PA Jessica Joslyn both take the time to know the patient and work to determine what is causing the symptoms, and then to treat the issue. The blood work up ordered is extensive, giving these experts the clues to determine what is occurring, what you are reacting to, etc. They treat the disease, not just prescribe something to mask the symptoms. We feel so strongly in their knowledge and expertise, we have talked our '30 something' kids and spouses into seeing them now, to nip medical issues in the bud, rather than wait until their 50-60's trying to play catch-up/clean up. As some have noted, they do not take insurance, but they will give a superbilling (just ask) so if you have PPO medical insurance one can submit and your office costs will likely go towards your deductible. I look at their billing like I would any of the other highly skilled/educated professions (attorney's, engineer's, etc.) you are paying for their knowledge to help you through your challenges in the best possible way. Have not been to Dr. Foresman in years but felt inclined to leave a review after thinking it over for years. I have heard his office had changed after it fell apart years ago. I sure hope things have improved with him & his staff. At first it was wonderful. But once you have a problem that he has no knowledge about, his ego gets in the way & he will just rudely dismiss you. I was prescribed a medication that caused some irreversable damage & it's taken me years to recover. When I called this to his attention he rudely snapped, "You're fine." & got up to open the door for me to leave. I ended up having TIA-like symptoms & could barely function. His 2 nurses who were very sweet in the beginning became royal bitches. I saw them for another very private, very traumatizing experience & was treated like a piece of garbage & one nurse very loudly & publicly called attention to it in front of everyone. The last time I had an appointment they totally ignored me & just let me sit in the waiting room. They would come out & make eye contact then just look past me & walk away. That is their way of dismissing you. If he'd only had the guts to say "I'm sorry, I can't help you, this is beyond my expertise, but I can highly recommend _______." But unfortunately this mans ego gets in his way. Sure hope he's stepped up. When it's all said & done with, for me, he turned out to be an uncaring phony. read more

I am being treated for Lyme disease by Certified PA Jessica Joslyn, and she is the best! I had been dismissed by 5 MDs who said nothing was wrong with me, even though I was a healthy person in my 30s suddenly struck by crippling pain in multiple joints. Jessica is very kind and caring. She took her time to really understand my history and symptoms and get to know me. She suspected Lyme right away, and told me she was going to find the cause of my symptoms. It meant so much to know I finally had someone who believed me and was determined to figure out what was going on. Her confidence gave me hope when I had none. I am two months in to treatment and I am starting to feel really, really good. My joint pain is minimal and fewer joints are affected. I'm using stairs again! If you think you might have Lyme, if you have an autoimmune disorder (esp fibromyalgia, RA, or chronic fatigue), or if you can't get a diagnosis at all... Jessica will be your savior. Her prices are very reasonable, and she does 5-minute follow up calls for free. The staff in the office and supplement shop are all very warm and friendly, too. Dr. Bobby Maybee, my Chiropractor at Middle Path, has been ever so helpful in "fixing" me up this past year. He knows way too much which I believe gives him that Pro-fessional touch. After my last visit, I remember walking to my car with such an easy and perfect posture, it was a feeling I haven't felt in a really long time.
