We've been reading about this place for years and finally decided to give it a try. It is in fact as awesome as we've heard! The pizza dough so tender and full of flavor and toppings plentiful! The really delicious batter onion rings here and a surprisingly huge pepperoni roll. Very much a local country feel here -- the kind of place where the people behind the counter know their customers by name, all the while presenting a nice, clean Italian style deli / market. Stopped here for a sandwich. It was a holiday, Memorial Day, so it was not busy. I decided on the Cheeseteak hoagie Wirth extra lettuce and a side order of onion rings. My friend got the Italian sub. There were several beverage cases with a wide variety of drink choices: sodas, water, beer, etc. there were also many kinds of chips and similar snacks. We approached the counter and they were friendly and took our order. We sat and the food came in an appropriate amount of time on two trays. They forgot my extra lettuce so I went to counter to get it. They split our onion rings in the back which was nice. They also served my friends half sandwich and wrapped the other half to go. Middleway Market has the best NY style pizza in the area without a doubt. This is from a pizza snob from the nj/ny region and I've tried all the pizzeria's in this area. I've been going here ever since they opened. Their apps and subs are also delicious, especially the steak and cheese supreme sub. My normal go to was closed. So, on my daughter's recommendation, I drove the extra distance to try this place. MISTAKE !! The price was comparable, but the food wasn't. My wife ordered a small ham calzone and I had the steak and cheese supreme. The calzone had VERY LITTLE ham and the bottom was burnt. Not charred, burnt. She enjoys a charred crust, but when you have to use a chef's knife to cut through it and it leaves burnt chunks on the counter, it's too "charred". A large pampered chef pizza cutter wouldn't cut it. The steak and cheese was ordered without green peppers, but with hot peppers. While there wasn't any green peppers, there was also no hot peppers. The steak was so over cooked that it tasted like salted cardboard. The toppings also were just plopped in the middle of the bread, about 1 inch from each side. I had to open it and spread it out, so I wouldn't be eating just plain bread. Sorry, but spendind over $20 for this was a serious RIP off. My wife wouldn't eat the calzone. Total waste. Fed the trash can for $9.50. I'll not return. Save your money. read more

I love getting food from Middleway Market. The subs are some of the best and stuffed full of meat! I was hesitant about trying the pizza, but it's one of my favorites now. I don't normally like the BBQ pizzas, but I got one because it's my hubby's favorite. Let's just say I really enjoyed theirs. We got the breaded mushroom appetizer and I don't normally like mushrooms and I even ate a few of them because they were so good. The store is much bigger than I thought it would be. You can purchase beer, chips, and other snacks in addition to made-to-order food here. All of the employees are warm and friendly. I ordered the Italian sub and it was one of the best I've ever eaten! I had a bite of my fiance's Buffalo cheesesteak, which sounded like it could be good...interesting concept but I didn't love it nearly as much as the Italian sub. We also split an order of the jalapeño poppers, which my fiancé says are made "the right way" with cream cheese instead of cheddar. They came with marinara sauce but I prefer them plain. They were just the right amount of crunchy and not greasy like when I've tried them at other restaurants. We'll definitely be back! Curious to try their pizza and desserts. read more
