Ate here for the first time this past weekend and the pizza was insanely good. The parmesan garlic specialty crust was amazing, and the pizza and additional toppings (I got the 18" pepperoni, with the mozzarella balls and onions) was one of the best pies I've had outside of Chicago. I can't wait to try their deep dish pizzas. Very nice kids working inside when I picked it up. Friendly and attentive, which is kind of a rarity in these times. I am a New Yorker and compare all pizza to what I use to get especially when they claim it's new york style pizza. Most times I am disappointed. But M.D.'s Pizza stands alone. Their card reader wasn't working and ended up giving us our meal for free. he got it working and we offered to pay but he said dont worry about it. According to One Bite, it says the pizza was not crispy enough but they seem to have corrected that. perfectly black and bubbly on the edges. read more

Was quite disappointed with this pizza after reading all the rave reviews. I ordered two pizzas, two calzones, and breadsticks. All but one pizza was burnt to the point where you could only taste the burned crust. Including the breadsticks. The alfredo pizza I got had absolutely no flavor what so ever. Love this place. Love the new owner. I am so glad to know they are open again at lunch. I called in and held for 5:30. Then called right back and did it again. I walked into the restaurant as they were telling me know one could answer. I asked if their phones were broke and she said no. I asked why i had to hold and she said a service answers the phone. Mo apologies or empathy. Just an i dont care response. This is the only way i could think of to let the owner know he has an issue because the employee seems to not care or even let me know she will tell owner. Giving this a two star due to lack of flavor and portion size. If I would have known the 16" large pizza was going to be $24 I would have questioned what I was getting. Now I'm a pizza fanatic and there isn't a ton of options in Midland/Odessa so I have to try them all. Finally tried these guys and yup, typical. No flavor in the sauce and the dough was a disaster. Stopped in to check out the menu and was pleasantly surprised. Don't recall the name of the pizza but it has pepperoni, Canadian bacon, chopped jalapeño and are you ready, pineapple.
