Glenn took his time knowing my urgency to go. I ended up staying at this car wash for over 40 min trying to get the car wash to work. I called for assistance many times but go no responds. Glenn had no consideration for my time and he seemed to let his ego lead him in decision making. Stopped by today for a car wash. My boyfriend had a free car wash code from when he went to get his oil change. The code didn't work at first so he had to get another one. My car still ended up being dirty after going through the car wash. The middle section of the car was nice and clean but the front and back of the car was still dirty. read more

The car wash was completely broken and it sprayed the soap and did not wash at all properly, $10 down the drain. I went in and spoke to the cashier, She did not even care. I like this Chevron because it is quite convenient. I am kind of a lagger, so whenever I have dr.'s appts across the street at PAMF, I'm usually rushing out of the house in the morning and I'm still like 5 minutes late. Yes, I'm that girl. The one that pushes all the appointments in the day back by 5 minutes. I am not proud, but it happens ... This usually means my lag butt has probably run out of gas, and neglected to fill up, and had to drive 16 miles on traffic so am really, really out of gas by the time I get out of my appointment. I stopped in for a good 'ol car wash like the lazy person I am. The Deluxe Package for about $8. It included the wash, liquid wax and clear coat repair. My car went in dirty and came out clean! Hold the phone! "E" stands for "empty" on the gas gauge?!?!?!! I had to find this out the hard way this morning on my drive to the BART station. These days I only drive to and from BART so I tend to procrastinate between fill-ups. Thankfully, when I ran out of gas I was across the street from this Chevron station. I walked over and looked around for a gas container to purchase but couldn't find one. The attendants informed me they had ordered more since they sold out of their supply. That's what I get for procrastinating. I asked the attendants if they had an extra one lying around that I could borrow and one of the women went to a secret room in the back and emerged with the prettiest looking red gas container I had ever seen. My luck was taking a turn for the better. I was very thankful for them letting me borrow the container. I purchased 1 gallon of regular fuel at $3.179 then walked to my car to fill up. I drove back with the container and realized the gas had gone down to $3.159! I filled up the rest of the tank and drove off to BART with a new outlook on the day. This was a potential disaster but Chevron was there to make it all better. read more

I was speechless when I saw those after car wash, so many scratches on the sides and boot of the car. Some of them are quite visible even though my car is a silver one. This is one of the best Chevrons I ever been to. The cashiers are friendly, and everything is always very clean. There is always soap / washer solution in the squee-gee buckets, so when you're squee-gee'ing your windows it helps to get all the bugs off faster. Also, there are always paper towers ready when you need them. Only complaint is after they remodeled from being a Shell station, they were supposed to be able to stock more drinks. They still need more variety, and less sodas, but that's just personal preference, so that's why I'm not giving them 5 stars. read more

I used the car wash here which scratched my car . I saw the Scratches a few days later . They should check the machines and make sure this doesn't happen again . The gas station has a good location and they should capitalize on that and improve their service and equipment . read more

Every time I've had the chance to compare, this location is more expensive than the Chevron that's only a few blocks down Paseo Padre at Driscoll. That said, they're literally right near my apartment, so going out of my way isn't always worth it. Other than that, it's pretty clean, the pay at the pump works right, and I'm usually in and out quickly. read more

Don't ever get a car wash done here, after the wash it left thousands of scratches on my car, I was totally shocked to see that. Terrible gas. It even smells like bad gas. A friend of mine has been experiencing problems with his truck sputtering and hesitating and believed something to be wrong with his vehicle. Recently he was kind enough to top off my tank for me at Chevron, which i don't usually use, when he noticed I was on empty . My car ran terrible until I ran all the gas out and filled up elsewhere. This Chevron consistently is the cheapest Chevron in the area and conveniently located. They also have a lot of pumps so you generally don't have to wait, or if you do it's not for very long. They also have a car wash which is nice. You also have several entrances on both Stevenson and Paseo so it's easy to get in and out quickly. read more

What I like about this particular one is it's somewhat out of the way so it's not too busy and they have many pumping stations (16 in total), they have easy access in and out from the main streets, there is a good automatic car wash with three levels of "cleaning power" to choose, two vacuum stations and an tire air compressor. Pretty standard, right? What most impressed me was the service. I needed to inflate my tire and they woman at the register was very attentive, and didn't charge me to use it even though I didn't get gasoline that day. She just pressed a controller to wirelessly activate the compressor, and in a few short minutes I was done and ready to go. There was no hassle and service with a smile; a rare commodity in some gas stations. read more

Just went to the car wash here. Was pretty good. There are three options- $6 $8 or $10. I got the $6. I parked under a tree the other day and there was a bunch of sticky sap all over my car. So, the $6 wash was able to get the sap off, but it missed a lot of other stuff. Oh well, good enough for me! read more

Just want to make it clear that the review is not about the retail store inside the chevron nor the service station, but this review is about the car wash . I went to get a gas and a car wash from this facility at 39707 paseo-padre pkwy in Fremont,on Sept 9th 2014, and as soon as i was pulling in for a car wash,everything was going okay, until i noticed one of the roller brushes caught on to my driver side mirror and was making a loud noise, i tried to roll down my window and pull that thing out of my mirror, but it was too late, it yanked it off the side and scratched my paint with it, i was furious and as soon as that nightmare was over, i pulled out, and the owner was sitting in his 4x4 pickup truck right outside, and acted as if he doesn't work there.so i got out of my car and went inside the retail store to see if i could speak to the manager, and they pointed me to the guy that was sitting in his pickup truck. So i went to him and explained what happened and he told me that i should have "Folded my side view mirrors" and that it is my fault ...... needless to say,He did not offer any compensation for repair costs.... nor for even a refund for the car wash. If there was a negative 100 star, i would give it to him.Deeply disappointed. I would not recommend this car wash, to anyone. read more
