MOBC is located in an industrial area and fits in perfectly just on the outskirts of the city. We were greeted by a friendly staff member, Damian. He showed us around. The building is only a few years old. Snacks and clothing were also available to purchase. We bought some local extra sharp cheese to go with the beer. Damian supplied many crackers. Heavy metal music accompanied our ears. As far as my flight, I enjoyed IMPULSE the best, a nice crispy IPA.

Brian and Mitchell are the bartenders tonight this place is simply amazing. The people are friendly and informative about the beer that they have here. They don't have food so KaceysFood truck is outside serving the best comfort food in Delaware.i like it here tonite is Karaoke so I'm in heaven that's my favorite pass time.

    Free arcade games

Stopped in on a date night just to check the place out. We received a very warm welcome from both the staff and the regulars who were sitting at the bar. I got the Fizzy Lifting Drink which was good, but my husband got the Dopple Barrel whisky and it was amazing! He also got a beer togo that he sampled and really liked. The arcade games were a blast! Great nostalgic movies and music playing. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped in after a day at the office to enjoy a flight of beer while chomping on a panini from the local Wawa. Stopping in before the rest of the corporate population got out, the brewery was pretty quiet with a few other patrons enjoying their brews while escaping from their desks and finishing up work by the bar. First time here so opted for a flight of four which includes their IPAs, lagers and some sour drafts to switch things up. They had a few of their seasonal fall drafts on tap with some holiday drafts right around the corner. They did have a jalapeno seltzer in the background that they offered a taste while they did have another seltzer on the list that was more popular. The jalapeno seltzer isn't for the faint of heart but a nice switch up to the typical sour and tangy seltzers. I will be back to check out their other brews during different parts of the year. They do offer entertainment during the nice times of the year with outdoor music. You can also bring growlers from other breweries to fill up their drafts as well as offer crowlers for those that like a little variety.

My beers here were great. I had a flight of a porter, hazy IPA, a watermelon ale, a pumpkin ale and the heathen holiday ale. All of them were delicious and I was here during happy hours. So my beers were ridiculously reasonable. I've been here a few times and the beers are consistently good.

A lot of the reviews below are outdated. Midnight Oil had about 8-10 beers on tap when I last visited a week ago. Like most new breweries in Delaware, midnight oil is located in an industrial complex. You cannot miss it, there are signs that point you in the right direction. When I went on a Friday night, there was a food truck. As we were leaving, there was also a band setting up. There were quite a few people there, and the bartenders were really good at making sure your glass was not empty. Seating is all indoors. I had the Sundown Saison, which I enjoyed, it was a nice light beer. My husband had the Dubbel Entendre- which he loved. I will definitely be back for more beer and food!

This spot is one of my favorite places in Delaware. I was lucky to visit when I was last in town in July. Back then I got a flight with my sister and we had a blast. This time we brought the whole family! Five adults and two kids all had so much fun. I really really love their midnight porter, a flagship beer of theirs. It's just plain delicious. Their rye IPA was really good too. I remember their saison being great. Although they don't have food, they always have a food truck visiting. All food trucks have been really good. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is chill. I'll be back again next time we're in town.

My wife and I have been trying to hit all of the microbrew joints in the area. Just heard that this one popped up a few months ago. Its located in an industrial park. Not difficult to find. No food is served...however there is a food truck outside with exceptional food, food delivery is allowed and you can also bring in food. Staff is fun and chill. Beer is great. They have a new beer every monday. I got a flight because I couldn't decide. They have a lot of board games and even a playstation. Kids are allowed too. Overall great experience.

Limited beer menu, nice ambiance, friendly staff. Too many IPAs, only one belgian :( Will return again for IPA friends drinkers.

    Pizza and Kombucha

Huge fan of this place! It was recommended by a friend and figured while I was in the area we should stop by! We tried all of the beers, cider, and Kombucha in a few flights. Overall great menu, we especially enjoyed the cider and kombucha, they even offer a shot of vodka for your kombucha They even have a food truck in their parking lot that has some delicious pizza and nacho options. When the food truck isn't open, the brewery has a deal with a local company for food delivery. I highly recommend stopping by here and trying their beers, cider, and kombucha!

Beer quality is suspect. Only two beers on tap. Porter didn't taste right. Saison okay. They need to ramp things up quickly.

What I felt stood out and made Sam's tour above all of the other various brewery tours that I've been on, is his complete understanding of the chemistry aspect of the brewing process. It's one thing to be able to understand and recite the step by step process of brewing and some of the biological and chemical reactions, but Sam said he went to school in those fields so his knowledge of this fields of study was truly outstanding (and he also had some great stories about beer as well). We visited Flying Fish (the largest and oldest brewery in New Jersey), Lunacy (a cult favorite brewery that I've actually never heard of that only brews at night given the lunar root of their name) and then Roy-Pitz (their main brewing location in not in Philadelphia, but their sours were brewed on site, which if you know anything about beer, sours and all other types of beer need to be kept separated) and Love City Brew Co (this was the last stop on our tour and was PACKED) in the Spring Garden Arts section of Philadelphia. All of the breweries we visited we got a sort of "backstage" look at their specific brewing process as well as tasted four of their beers. On the third stop we had a late lunch/early dinner of sandwiches or burgers (which I didn't even finish because I was so full). Overall based on things learned, new breweries visited, food portion size, and overall tour guiding, I'd give City Brew Tours a 10/10 if it were possible on Yelp. By the end I couldn't even drink anymore beer (I'm tiny, sue me) and left with some new appreciation of some pretty cool breweries that I had never been too. I understand that not every tour goes to the same brewery, seeing as not all will have the same availability week to week, so I'd defs be interested to do another Brew Tour and get to explore some other breweries as well. City Brew Tours was a full day of fun, facts and brews, would highly recommend!

Don't know how to brew - NO PROBLEM Don't Have the supplies and equipment to Brew - NO PROBLEM Don't mind waiting 2 weeks for you Beer to ferment - THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU! So as I said our company offered employees a Home Brew experience as one of the options for our summer event this year, you can choose from 2 types of beer to brew, then you wait and about a week before the event a big box off supplies and equipment arrives at your door. The day before the event you get an e-mail with a zoom meeting invite for the actual event, along with some instructions so you are ready when the class starts. Our Instructors were Mike and Kevin, they meeting started on time and while the is some downtime while the water boils and the grains steep Mike and Kevin kept things interesting with helpful hints and tips, Brewing history, the reasons why you are going what you are doing at a certain time, what happens when you do certain things, why those things are good, bad or necessary and what to expect in the next two weeks while you are waiting for your beer to finish. There were some questions from our group and Mike answered them all, he was very knowledgeable about beer and the process of making beer. While I don't think I will become a master brewer and take up brewing as a full time hobby I did very much enjoy the experience and found it very informative and educational . If you like beer, or even if you are not a huge fan (yes we had one in our group and he enjoyed the class as well) I would highly recommend trying this type of event at least once, just so you know a little more about beer. Based on my experience with this home brew event I would be very willing to attend one of City Brew Tours in person events when things open back up again. (And when I'm in a city they serve) Highly recommended just for the fun of it or if you want to try brewing but are afraid to go it alone the first time. 5 Stars for the event 10 stars for Mike and Kevin
