Nice ambiance and friendly service. After reading the reviews I had to give this place a try. Before I discuss the wine let talk food. I understand winery's do not have 5 star chefs but simple food can be good if prepared properly or with pride. I asked about the nachos, 'are the real nachos or crappy winery snacks'? No they're real nachos but the best is the pulled pork it's a nicely made large portion. What was called nicely made? Pulled pork on top of nacho chips with cheese wiz and NOTHING ELSE. I asked for jalapeños they had none. How are you serving nachos without salsa or something like onions with tomato or at minimum JALAPEÑOS!!! This is the first winery in at least 12 others I've visited in the past year that I couldn't get through the flight. Sorry but I was disappointed some wine lacked the normal/standard aroma and body. I've never had a 'light' body Cabernet Sauvignon. Some wines taste like the bottom of the bottle and others no so fresh. I went ask far to try the slushy better but no winner. What has never happened? Me walking out of a winery empty handed, today I did!! Would I recommend or return? Nope too many options for a second chance.

Came here Friday afternoon to kick off our festivities for the 4th of July holiday weekend. Since very few vineyards don't allow children of any age in their facility, we called ahead to make sure children were allowed. And we were happy that my daughter would be able to enjoy the scenery. Salem Oaks Vineyards is tucked in a residential area with houses relatively close together so it would have been easy to miss it. Once we pulled in, there was ample parking available as well as indoor and outdoor seating since a downpour had just ended and the sun was just coming out. We sat outside at a bench table with my daughter sitting in her stroller. The server came promptly and took our order. She was very pleasant and helpful in making our selections. The atmosphere was nice and it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. We selected to buy a bottle of the Sweet Caroline to take home and enjoy during the fireworks. We ended our day by taking pictures of ourselves at the vineyard. It was a great day!

Quaint and rustic vineyard. Spacious enough for family and friends to gather for brunch, lunch or dinner. The service is wonderful and the prices are reasonable. I was able to purchase a wine flight of my choice for $10. I order a delicious salad topped with chicken that was very flavorful and aligned with my wine preferences. Had a wonderful time.

I've been to Salem Oak Vineyards many times and I'm always impressed with service and friendliness. Today was the first day doing brunch and it was a good start! They are open for brunch Sundays from 10-2 and reservations are required (inside and outside dining). Salem Oak had a brunch menu and their regular menu available with 3 varieties of mimosas (orange, peach, mango). I had the Broccoli and Cheddar Bread bowl which was creamy and cheesy. The waffles were cooked to perfection and the strawberries were yummy! The mimosa was very tasty! There were a few mistakes with the tables orders but it being the first day with the new menu we understood.

Comfy ! Excellent staff and quaint atmosphere ! I would return again - great menu options for a winery the good we ordered was tasty.

Went to check out some local wines at Salem Oak and wasn't disappointed. I had no idea they did brunch here which was like extra credit. We were greeted immediately and the server was SO friendly and helpful. She told us about wine slushees which we immediately ordered and we let her pick our wine flight. Food was delicious, wine was good, slushees were fantastic!

Salem Oak Winery is now open for brunch on Sunday's from 10:00-2:00, reservations are required. The winery has a variety of brunch options available. They also have their regular menu if you are not up for brunch. I went with the chicken and waffles. I opted for the chicken and waffles without gravy but when it arrived the chicken and waffles was covered with gravy. I also ordered a scrambled eggs with cheese bowl but that didn't make it to the table. Our server was extremely friendly as well as the staff at the winery. I am sure that their brunch service will improve with time. The mango peach mimosa was a perfect addition to our brunch.

Food is sooo good, and love that there is options other than cheese boards! Sangria and wine are delicious.

Small place, almost drive past it...has plenty of room indoors to hang, if you are a dry wine drinker you will not be pleased.

While their outdoor space is an excellent feature during warmer weather, I wanted to highlight their winter weekend offerings, which involve various food pairings offered in their cute indoor space (by reservation only!!) My most recent experience was their Wine and Cheese Pairing, which is featured every January. Each year, they curate a combination of local cheese and either honey/jam to pair with their wines, and every year, it's a hit. My favorite pairing this year involved their Pinot Rose, a delicious cheddar, and an orange ginger honey that was absolutely delightful. I also particularly enjoy their wine and cupcake pairing offered every March in partnership with Dia Doce cupcakes --- a highlight of every spring.

The vintner trusts his gut and handled Chardonnay in a really unique way. Very tart and playful. We brought a bottle of that home alongside the absolutely ridiculous Pumpkin Spice Mulled Wine. Strong reds and whites - which I feel is pretty rare for any vineyard but especially in the PA and NJ area. Usually it's red or whites - both both being solid. Certainly a must visit if in the area. Better and more low key than a lot of vineyards nearby... the hospitality is top notch. Could use slightly larger pours or a larger size tasting flight. A flight amounts to maybe 1.25 glasses of wine. I'd encourage them to be even more distinctive with their varietals. As it stands, they're growing some very unique local varietals. With whites, they're predominantly dry with a hint of lemon (or in the case of the Chardonnay, a burst of lemon). Reds are soft with cherry and vanilla predominantly. There's room for improvement with the reds - possibly growing some bolder varietals to blend with or bottle 100% could bring that change for me. The whites are very good. They also do events in case you're looking for a stellar venue. Good people, good vibe. We'll be back.
