Impeccable service, food and coffee was amazing, and I loved the vibe of this coffeehouse! I ordered a hot vienna coffee, which is a vanilla and cinnamon coffee served hot with frothed milk. It was incredible and had a beautiful design with the frothed milk. My boyfriend got a hot woodsman, which is a macadamia nut, maple syrup, and cinnamon coffee served hot with frothed milk as well. It was also very good the leading flavor was macadamia nut. We also got a cheesecake slice with chocolate and caramel syrup on top which was also very good but a little frozen, definitely a none bake cheesecake. There is a selection of board games and card games available to play indoors as well as a ping-pong table outside. And tons of seating options. The vibes in this coffee shop were truly immaculate. If you enjoy local art, there are a lot of beautiful painting throughout the Cafe that can be purchased as well if one catches your eye. It is a little on the pricey side but well worth it for the atmosphere and quality of the food and coffee. Absolutely obsessed with this place! It was so cozy and such a vibe. The coffee was absolutely fantastic and so were the treats! I got the woodsman latte (macadamia nut, maple, and cinnamon) and it was such a delicious drink. I wish I lived in Searcy to be able to be a regular at this place. Also, service was quick and easy! Got there just before a small crowd of college kids came in. Definitely popular with Harding University goers. They have a little shelf with games that are free to play with and outdoor seating with hanging lights. It also looked like there was a little stage out back for live music even. Just passing through Searcy and stopped at Midnight Oil for some coffee and tea. Cute place. Really good specialty drinks and tea. The baristas were so helpful and great at what they do. They were students at Harding U. and genuinely engaged my family with humor and warmth. Overall we can't recommend this spot enough. This place was a God-send during my trip to Searcy. I was in town for a week for a disc golf tournament and simply wanted somewhere nice to work during the day... Seems easy, but as it turns out, all of the other coffee places in Searcy closed down. So MO it was. That week, I went to MO four times and stayed there working the majority of the day. To my surprise, the place stayed packed. Students from the nearby college seemed to congregate there to socialize and study. It didn't make the place too distracting; it actually gave it some life. The establishment sells beverages (teas and coffees) and a small food menu. I tried a few coffees and some appetizers. The food was better than the average coffee shop offerings, for sure. The coffee was decent; not my favorite ever, but certainly hit my caffeine cravings. If I'm back in Searcy, you can definitely find me working at MO at some point. Guarenteed. read more

I haven't been here in over 10 years. Came back for a visit and decided to drop by because I'm bored with Starbucks. Wow! First, parking is plentiful and shaded. The cafe is clean, well organized, and stylishly decorated. Plenty of seating and tables. The sofas are crazy comfy. The restroom is clean, smells like cinnamon, and isn't crammed. Secondly, the staff is very friendly. The menu has changed a lot since my last visit, so I had a lot of questions. They were very helpful and patient. Lastly, the coffee is exceptional. I ordered a raspberry mocha with skim milk. It was crafted well and tastes amazing. Really delicious! That's the most important part. It didn't taste fake (like a lot of imitation flavors that other places offer). I'm thrilled with this place! read more

Loved this place for a study session with my friends. We went to the back room where we were able to talk as loud as we wanted, easily share notes, and have plenty of room to stretch our stuff out. I was in Searcy on business today with my dad. I saw this on our way down East Race Avenue and was reminded immediately of a house converted to a coffee shop in Athens, GA where I went to college (Two-Story, it's a great one, and there are two now). We were having a hard time settling on a place to eat and were super hungry so I suggested we stop in for a drink while we figured out where we wanted to eat. The coffee house was packed with students (I assume from next-door Harding University). The music was good and chill but it seemed like it was a little bit too loud considering how many people appeared to be in there to study and do homework. I decided to get one of their specialty drinks because I can get a chai tea latte or an americano pretty much anywhere. I got a large Vienna with almond milk, which is a vanilla cinnamon-flavored latte. My dad got a chai tea latte. It took about as long to prepare as I expected, and they were worth the wait. The barista did that adorable thing where they pour the hot milk so as to make a heart on the top (although with almond milk it ends up looking more like an onion, but who cares because wow science cool very nice). The barista, Rebecca, was pleasant as heck. The guy at the register seemed pretty shy, but not rude or anything like that. The bar area is a little bit cramped and my dad and I both felt awkward and in the way while waiting for our drinks and once we got our drinks we left (not because of the atmosphere, we were going to leave right after anyway to look at a property). My drink was absolutely delicious and my dad said his was the best chai tea latte he'd ever had. And the man loves his chai, so that's a serious compliment. I tried it and agreed. There was something different and wonderful about it from the chai tea lattes I've had. And I think I may have had more than my dad has, actually, so again that's saying a lot. If I'm ever in Searcy, I'll definitely go back and try another of their specialty drinks (or maybe even two if I'm feeling frisky). They have one called Valencia that's a chocolate and orange latte and I'm drooling just thinking about it. I definitely recommend this place, but I wasn't a college student too long ago and if you're going there to study, bring military-grade earplugs and maybe wear a distraction-proof helmet. I would have a hard time focusing if I were trying to study in there. We went at about 4:15 on a Monday which MAY just be a heavy traffic time. read more

I love the seating area, the decor, and the outdoor porch. My first drink from this place was a mocha frappe. Unfortunately, I walked out before I tried the drink and immediately regretted my decision. I think they forgot the mocha part. It was bitter, & had little to no flavor. Disappointing :( However, I also tried the granita and it was WONDERFUL! Mistakes happen, so I gave this place another chance. Today I walked in and got a hot mocha, and it was wonderful. I've always been a Starbucks chick because you could ALWAYS find one not too far from where I am. But since moving to Arkansas it's quite different. You have to drive for awhile to get to one. So... My husband and I decided to try this place out. It's always busy because it's right next to a university. So there's always students hanging out or studying. The atmosphere was great, music wasn't loud, and the service was wonderful. I got the blondie.. It was really good and my husband liked it. He's not really big on caffeine, but with this one he actually drank it as much as me. I also loved how they did the leaf on the drinks. I've never had that before from where I normally went. Only downside was that the waiting is quite long. Ordered one drink and it took 20mins to get my drink. Prices are a little high also and the size of the drinks are quite small. You would think the price would be a little lower because of college students. But overall I would take out of town family here!!!! read more

The place was busy with a lot of Harding College students there. It was not uncomfortable though and I easily found a quiet corner. There looked to be a good mix of professional and student types. The staff is very friendly and answered a lot of coffee questions to a lot of people. I like that. They offer two espressos, one being sweeter. The minute I walked in, I did not feel like I was in Arkansas anymore.... Cute little place. It can easily be mistaken for a house, so be sure not to pass by it. Came here with my friends and we got the cappuccino, Honey Vanilla Latte, Iced White Blonde, and Iced Green Tea. I think the Iced White Blonde tasted the best. I loved the homey/cozy feel to the place. Seems like a great place to study and a great location with it being next to Harding University. The owners(I think?) were very nice and helpful and continuously asked us if we needed anything else. It's a shame I don't live in Arkansas, so it will be hard for me personally to return. But my friends, who are Harding students, will definitely be coming back for some more good coffee! read more
