I received the Amazon Local coupon as a gift from my brother. I've never had my car windows tinted because I'm lazy. I went in, gave them the coupon, came back about 2 hours later and my car looks great. I no longer have to squint my eyes or turn my mirror down for bright lights (I got 25% windows done). I did this last weekend and my windows have never looked so clean. Probably because I never really cleaned them before this... My wife purchased the groupon deal for the window tinting. We live in Snoqualmie Ridge, it's a bit far from us. But it's not like we have a choice for such good deal. It was not hard to find, it's just right off Aurora. It has signs everywhere once you get there. The staff was friendly, we were told it may take 2-3 hours while they still working on another car. They have a waiting room upstairs (you have walk up from the outside). The room size is ok, and has wifi. But we actually walk out and visit other places and had lunch on Aurora. We got back there less than 2 hours and the car was ready for us. It was first windows tinting for us, and the experience was great. And the car does look nice. They did a good job. read more

Midnight seems to have done a good job with their tinting application to the two front windows of my new Rav. The only thing I would caution about if calling in for a quote are UPCHARGES... They will quote one price on the phone, but when you and your wallet get there, they will "stongly" (with demonstration) steer to you to the more expenisve of the two tints they carry (upcharge), then they will steer to you to a better way (with demonstration) to trim their film to the top of the window (upcharge). Besides that they were courteous, nice guys. The shop was clean enough. read more

Very solid work! Came here to get my girlfriend's Nissan's windows tinted and was delighted with very friendly, professional service. They advised us on the correct WA state law for tinting so we went with that. Price came out to around $250 with tax for the whole car and their premium tint. Lifetime warranty for any bubbling, crackling, and fading. Very nice. You also get a $25 discount for mentioning Yelp! Not bad. I'm taking one star away due to them taking off one of her window decals inside and trashing it. There was no warning prior, should have at least warned. read more

I bought a groupon for $150 for up to a $350 value for tinting here a few days ago. I called in and they had an appointment available in the morning two days later, so I took it. The tech that checked me in was really nice and went over my options. I had done my own tinting research and decided to upgrade to the mid-class tinting that goes to the top of the window glass, so it would be an extra $80 on top of what I paid for the groupon. I went with 25% instead of 20% all around for the car, by recommendation of the tech who showed me another car outside with 25%, which looked to be the perfect amount in my taste. Plus, with 25% I avoid the chance for ridiculous tickets, or an excuse for a cop to hassle me. I hung out in the waiting room while it was being installed. I recommend a book, or smart phone as the wait is 3-4 hours for installation. There are a couple sofas, a soda machine, and a restroom, so I had no complaints about hanging out (especially since I had the place to myself). The windows look great and I couldn't be happier, totally worth the drive from the eastside, and I will definitely bring my next vehicle in for more tinting from these guys! read more

Service performed Sept 2013 - Bought a Groupon for some window tinting after reading a few review on Yelp. Called to schedule a consultation appointment with no issues. All available options were explained and I ended up going with the Suntek 18% instead of the Groupon required 3M tint. There was a price increase due to this, my car being a SUV and to having the complete window tinted but it wasn't much of a bump. I arranged to drop my car off the following weekend with pickup later in the day. My car was ready as promised and the tint still looks great. No bubbles or peeling. I personally wish I had gotten a tad darker tint, 15%, but this has nothing to do with the product purchased or the service I received. I'd recommend Midnight Window to anyone looking to have their windows tinted. read more

(my windows were tinted 11/2015) I was undecided on how dark I wanted to tint my car windows so I called and spoke with JR who walked me though the process and what was covered by the Groupon. He was very patience with me and did not pressure me at all. He told me when I arrive to my appointment, which he was able to get me in within the week, to ask for him. Even after getting to the shop, which was clean, he walked me through my options and told me what was the legal darkness and what it would mean if I went too dark, again no pressure. My car was ready on time and JR walked me through my car and how it care for my windows and ensured me to call them anytime if I have any questions. I've never done a Yelp review but the work and customer service at Midnight Auto Tint made me do one. I just got a 2016 Subaru WRX and wanted to protect the front from rock chips. I reached out to them and Brett responded back very quick. Other places I was looking into never even got back to me. I went with the full front Xpel Ultimate and the price was right around what other shops were charging. It took them two days which is what i was expecting after doing some research. The end result was awesome, you cant even tell it's there. I did have to take it back to get some minor touch ups done. JR did a fantastic job on it and was very polite. I'm never more angry or hungrier than when I'm behind the wheel. While I feverishly flash made up gang signs in your rear view or assertively eat my ice cream cone can all be accomplished with dignity at hand. SO having my car windows tinted just below the illegal limo/pimp tint are essential when I'm out on the road. Wait for that Groupon to make the rotation, and then stop in, it WILL make a difference. Midnight neighbors the Stereo Warehouse eye sore, but their entrance is tucked in the back. The garage itself where the tinting gets done is small, looks like one vehicle at a time so call ahead to ensure not waiting half the day. There is a small waiting room with tired looking furniture, and wifi is available but it's pretty uncomfortable to hang out in there for 2+ hours. They did a great job on the tint, but I noticed later that evening the cap that goes over my rear windshield wipers was missing. Called about it, but the install tech was gone for the day, and I had to follow up the next day, and of course, no one knew what I was talking about. I got in a Groupon deal, and upgraded the service when I arrived. It felt somewhat of an up sell because the standard trim choice was not acceptable to me. It did not fully cover the upper area of the window that is tucked in when the windows are closed. Their demo showed slightly jagged edges so you automatically have to upgrade unless you want it to look cheap. Other than that, the staff were very friendly. They were booked due to the groupon/amazon deals so there was a long wait, but they were able to squeeze me in on a cancellation so that worked out great for me. They were also able to finish the work much quicker than I anticipated. Overall, very pleased with the service. read more

Work completed: they completed window tinting and removal of decals on a new RAM 1500 (with very short notice). Duration: couple of hours. I left the truck and they called when it was available. We went to Midnight Window Tint for a complete make over of our brand new Tesla Modelx. We got xpel stealth wrap, chrome delete, black window tint, red accent calibers and Tesla symbol along with ceramic coating. I was very nervous as it was a big project but the results have come out to be phenomenal. Brett and the team did an amazing job with all of our requirement. The car looks like a beast. I reached out to Midnight Window Tint (MWT) via Yelp offers and they were very responsive. Initially I was planning to bring my Model 3 to another location that had recently done my Subaru. However, this location did not have experience with Tesla Model 3's and I was apprehensive to becoming the test subject. MWT provided several pictures to establish that they had experience working with M3s. An appointment was made and available the same week. It was very convenient to drop my car off in the morning and got a call 3 hours later that it was done. Upon pickup the car looked amazing. To all Groupon buyers!! PSA!! The Groupon for window tinting only covers 35% tinting, if you want the tint of your windows any darker you will have to pay extra for an upgrade (mine was $127 for 18% on my coupe), which all and all cost me around $260 for my windows... it's a little disappointing for those of us who were excited about the Groupon deal but *shrugs*. As for the service the men were knowledgeable and took the time to show me various vehicles and their tint so I could choose the right one for me. And most importantly, for the windows I give it a solid 4/5. There are huge spots on the back windows which they said are "wet" and will take a couple weeks to "dry". I don't know a damn thing about window tinting but they assured me if the marks don't disappear naturally then they will take care of it. Right now, I'll just have to wait and see read more

I have tinted my Honda CR-V 2018 on 1st September. It was nicely done and took around 1hr45min to complete. I tinted front side (35%) and back - 5%. Work was done great with no bubbles etc. haven't washed my car yet but I'm sure it'll be fine! read more

I had a bit of a bump at the beginning of my MWT process, but the outcome was good. I got the Groupon for 30% tint. When I called they told me the 30% did not have bubble coverage, but if I upgraded to 25% (which I was considering anyway) I would get this coverage. I was quoted a price on the phone for the upgrade, but when I got to the store, I was quoted a higher price. I discussed this with the gentleman helping me. I hate to be "that person" and argue with the person who has to handle another's mistake. But, he agreed to honor the lower price, which I greatly appreciated. The work done on the car is fantastic, and I am very satisfied with the overall outcome. I would highly suggest going here. Just be aware of the Groupon terms: it is only for 30% tint without bubble coverage, there is a cost for upgrading, and you cannot schedule a Groupon on a weekend. read more

It did take a bit longer then expected which he apologized about due to the front window being a real pain in the butt (he had to rip off the tint on the front window about 5 times and re do it!). Took my new 2016 Honda Accord in for windows tinting. JR was a friendly guy and knowledgeable about the window tinting business. I opted for the upgraded SunTek CXP 25% tint and it looks nice! I took it in around 10:15am and the job was done around noon. Couple days later I did find a little blemish on the driver's side window and I took it back in. They fixed it immediately within an hour. I think their price is reasonable and the people are nice. Great place to get your car tinted! read more

I never write long winded reviews but AMAZON LOCAL CUSTOMERS NEED TO READ THIS.... I purchased an Amazon Local deal that was "$300 worth of tinting for $150". I always wanted to get my windows tinted and this was a perfect time to do it because the price was right. I called the shop before purchasing the Amazon deal and got a quote for a mid grade tint job. It came in around $250 so with my deal I would be getting $100 off. I went ahead and bought the Amazon deal and made an appointment. A dude with a southern accent checked me in. I don't know much about tint but he did a good job explaining everything to me about the different percentage types, whats legal to have, etc... Here's where it gets dicey... As we were filling out the paper work the guy who was checking me in tells me that they could put the $150 that I paid for the deal towards the mid grade tint but I would have to pay out of pocket for the remaining balance. Huh? That's not a deal, that's full price. He said that the mid grade tint does not apply to the Amazon or Groupon deal and that it is stated on the coupon. Well, I had the coupon with me and read all of the fine print and saw NOTHING that stated the mid grade tint wasn't covered in the deal. I told him this and then he said that it was stated on the original advertisement that went out with the deal. He said "if we offered the mid grade tint as a coupon we wouldn't make any money". I didn't have a computer with me and had no way to verify what he was saying was true. I wanted to believe him and did so I left my car for them to work on it. I got home 2 hours later and pulled up the original Amazon Local advertisement and saw that nothing he said was true. It straight up said "Pay $150 for $300 worth of tinting". Nothing he said was in the fine print. No restrictions, no certain tint brands, nothing. They already started working on my car so it was too late to argue at this point. I didn't want to go in and refuse to pay the balance when he has my car and the keys to it. This guy was so strong headed about the deals his shop was advertising that I didn't want him to refuse giving my car back for not pulling money out of pocket to pay the remaining balance. So I called Amazon Local and told them what was going on. After being placed on hold for 5 minutes the customer service rep did some research and got back to me. He reviewed the deal and said the idea of paying $150 towards $300 worth of tint is cut and dry and I should NOT have to take ANY money out of pocket. Not a dime. He also told me that Amazon received SEVERAL complaints about this shop in regards to customers having to take money out of pocket for this deal. Apparently I wasn't the only person they were trying to up-charge! Amazon went ahead and refunded my $150 towards the deal and I went into Midnight Window Tinting and paid the $100 balance for the "upgraded" tint. So I basically paid $100 in the end. So why am I ranting? The dude seriously gave me the "it's in the fine print" line when it actually wasn't. If he saw it, nobody else did! Not even amazon. The owner should do a better job letting the staff know whats going on with the deals because according to the staff they were booked 2 months out because of Amazon and Groupon business. The tint job wasn't bad. They left a few spots bubbled up in my back window but can't complain for only paying $100. The waiting room is weak so don't get your hopes up if you drive in from out of the area and need to wait until your car is done. Midnight Window Tinting needs to be called out for this. The guys in the shop were friendly but the dude with the southern accent who checked me in totally lied to my face and tried to bullshit me. He knew the product well and wasn't some newbie. He might have been the owner for all I know. The bottom line is this... they know tint but I would never go back based on my experience. I would rather give my money to someone else. I bought a groupon for the window tint a couple weeks ago. I called to make an appointment and asked a few questions and they were super nice on the phone. I checked out their website which was pretty decent with a fun auto tint selector with an image of a car and what your windows might look like with the different levels of tint. I recommend checking it out. I called a couple days before my appointment to confirm and again they were really nice on the phone. Today was the day that I finally got my windows done! The place was relatively easy to find. I was the first appointment of the day and my tech, Brett was already outside and greeted me as I was walking down to the office. As the other yelpers have pointed out, it's not a fancy place meant to suck you in like a car dealership but they are clean and organized. There was a display with some examples of shades and percentages. I was advised the legal washington limit, given lots of information and Brett was patient as I waffled about how dark to go. He also answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed. You also get the option to upgrade so the tint goes all the way up on the glass with no gap. That was also a display that shows you a side by side comparison. I thought it was worth it. He said it would be a couple hours and I had a friend pick me up for some breakfast while I waited. Brett called me and he had finished early! I checked it out and I gotta say, it looks really nice from the inside and outside of the car. He gave me a run down of the do and don't list. It's also on the back of the receipt/invoice. So, no rolling down the windows for at least 3 days so the tint can properly dry. He explained what I might see and what to expect. I was happy that I didn't even have to ask. He even put tape over the window button inside the car! Haha! My tech was obviously there early and waiting for me outside (everything was on inside, warm and ready to go), he was friendly and efficient, let me ask a billion annoying questions and got the job done quickly and most importantly he was confident about the product and the work...in my book that deserves a nice tip. Can't wait for the tint to dry and roll down my windows to check out the full thing! Oh yeah, the lifetime warranty makes me pretty happy too. read more

Great experience with Midnight Window Tinting in Shoreline. After deciding I wanted to tint my windows on my 2013 VW Jetta Sportwagen I called around to friends in the car accessory business and asked them for a suggestion and they suggested Midnight. They also had great yelp review and had a Groupon running.... win win! JR (I am pretty sure that is his name) worked on my car and walked me through all my choices. He was very knowledgeable on the product -- said he's been in this business his whole life. He gave me his suggestions on tint package for my car based on the questions he asked me which I was impressed with. I went with the CXR(?) tint with 18% on the rear windows, 25% on the sides and the windshield at 55% (highly suggested getting your windshield done it ties the whole look together) all-in-all great customer service and workmanship . ..... The price they quoted on the phone is always what I was charged, I was never pressured into an upgrade. My last car, a 2009 Audi, was tinted at the legal limit, but it was just not dark enough, so I took it back and they removed the tint and re-tinted it.
