Never tried this place before and we live in the area. Saw some good reviews here so ordered some sushi for takeout. YUK! Worse we've had plus service was fairly slow and unfriendly. Some of the ingredients listed on the menu were missing or substituted. You can't trust some of these reviews until you take a chance, which we're sorry we did. My niece and I ordered a couple of sushi rolls after work. We decided to eat it in the car because we didn't have enough to share lol. We splurged on a "King Crab" roll and A Dragon roll. This was the worst sushi I have ever had in my life. The color was not the typical color of king crab. It tasted like absolutely nothing. None of it had taste. The Eel tasted like nothing! No flavor at all. I don't know what it was however I know it wasn't eel or king crab. We quickly decided to share with family members who agreed it had zero flavor. I gave it two stars because The Szechuan chicken looked amazing, but had zero flavor and zero spiciness it might as well been dipped in cold tea water. I expected more and was a bit disappointed. The menu is huge and very varied. I was excited to see traditional Chinese and items like ramen. We were picking up food to eat with my mother so sushi sadly was out but I definitely perked up when I saw the ramen. We went with a mix of items - ramen, the duck meal and chicken chow mein. I found the items a bit pricier than anticipated and didn't love that you had to select an add-on and that add-on appeared to always add on to the price. I was ordering online and it wouldn't let me continue without selecting. The customer service was seriously lacking. There was a teenager working the door (you went in and couldn't go further) and I found her extremely rude when I went in to pick up and she basically said it's not ready (despite it being 10 minutes past the time it should have been ready) and come back. No sorry about the delay, no details on when to return. I went back in seven minutes and there was an adult in the room with her and she was very polite and friendly. Perhaps mom needs to be there all of the time before she scares off more customers. The food was just okay. I enjoyed the pork fried rice but it was super salty. I haven't been that thirsty from any Chinese food in years. My partner liked the duck but didn't love the garlic sauce they used. I will say the veggies were cooked thoroughly in his meal! My mother didn't like the chicken chow mein at all. She thought the flavor was totally off. The ramen was just okay. Lots of filler and the meat they used and called beef honestly was far from any beef you'd expect to be served. The broth was good. Based on the price, overall taste and poor customer service I would have Midori far down my list of places in the area to return to. read more

This place is delicious, and Martin and the rest of the staff are so helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to make people feel welcome. The food is awesome. We had tempura udon, age tofu, ikura sashimi, yellowtail scallion roll, salmon sushi, spicy salmon roll, fried oysters and green tea ice cream. I've ordered here a few times with my boyfriend or roommate and each time has been amazing. Thr food is spot on, the delivery service polite and timely, as well as thr food delicious. I've gotten a few things but my current favorites are their beef teriyaki, crab rangoon, and the wonton soup. Simple things that, if done well, can make a meal. My boyfriend loves their general tsos, but always says it's not as spicy as he would like. I tell him that he just likes his mouth to burn too much. Our roommate's love different things from here. Based on the reviews on YELP I thought I would give it a try. I came in with my husband and two boys. I was excited because of the Sushi option and they were excited for the buffet option. The host was very quiet and we literally had to ask for menus. The buffet was old looking and 80% empty. My youngest son ate two bites of Lo Mien Noodles and two chicken wings and decided he had enough. My husband complained twice about the lack of cooked food. They finally filled the pans. My oldest said what he ate was alright and quality was what he expected for a buffet. I ordered a lunch special of sesame chicken, white rice and an egg roll, (13.50) the portion was huge. The food was hot and tasty. About 25 minutes later I was sick to my stomach and was throwing up. We won't be back. I'm so grateful I didn't order the Sushi or Sashimi. read more

It tasted good, but a little aggravating to have your rice fall apart. The spider roll held together, and that was good. One of our party ordered chicken with steamed vegetables, and requested no rice. The delivery was only steamed vegetables. She had to call to complain, they sent out the right order on a second delivery. I ended up taking the steamed vegetables, they were flavorful but overcooked. In general, I am a fan. But that comes from eating IN the restaurant. Recently I have gotten take out several times and been pretty disappointed in the quality. For example, the Crab Rangoon was so over fried and way to much cream cheese with very little crab. The Sushi specials appear to be premade for some time when you take out. The one's made internal see very different quality. I don't have time to list all the dishes and my thoughts about them. I simply would say try it but not on a Friday or Saturday night when it appears they use prepaid food. Yes they are very fast and that is why they use the prepared food. My uncle ordered the watermelon Sake (which he said was amazing), and a few of the specialized rolls and said it was good! I've been in town for over a year and had yet to try Midori. I stopped in to order takeout, and wasn't disappointed. Sesame chicken, fried rice, beef teriaki, crab rangoons, and hot & sour soup for $15 (including $1 and the change thrown in the tip jar.) 15 minutes total time, from pulling into the parking lot to walking out with a bag of food - not bad at all. Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned pretty well for (basically) fast food. The crab rangoons were the best I've ever had and everything else was very good. So, why only 4 stars? I dunno. I think a meal that deserves 5 stars should make me say "holy shit, you HAVE to eat here!" My meal didn't invoke that response. But, it certainly was tasty, fast, and reasonably priced (and enough food for lunch tomorrow too). read more
