Aventura Mall will always have a special place in my heart…read more Growing up in Miami Beach we often would take the S bus down to Aventura and just hang out. Back then, the S Bus would drop you off at the entrance of the food court and the mall was just 2 floors but look at Aventura Mall now! Completely unrecognizable to the Mall I remember as a teen. Especially since it seems like the average stores I remember are gone and it's all Prada, Gucci, and luxe stores now, but I'm not gonna knock it too much as I took full advantage and stocked up on my Nespresso pods while I was here. At least they still have JC Penny's. I was able to find a Miami Hurricanes shirt to bring back to my dad as a gift. They also have a Joe and the Juice store which I always stop by when I'm here and get a green tonic from them. I have to admit; I like how they revamped the food court so that its modern and has a wide variety of options. They even have a ramen kiosk! We also stopped by the new Eataly store, how can you not right? We didn't eat anything there, but I took advantage and bought some items they had priced on sale. In all honesty, I could see myself coming to Aventura often if I still lived in South Florida. I've always it made it a point to come here when I do visit and will probably continue to do so in the future.

From the moment you arrive, everything about this place feels elevated. The scale alone is impressive--it's not just a mall, it's an experience. You'll find an incredible lineup of designer and luxury boutiques, alongside popular brands, making it easy to go from high-end splurging to everyday shopping all in one visit. Whether you're browsing or on a mission, the selection here is unmatched in South Florida. What truly sets Aventura Mall apart is the variety. The store mix is perfectly curated--fashion, beauty, home, accessories--you name it, it's here. And it's not just about shopping. The dining scene is just as strong, with a wide range of restaurants and cafés that make it easy to turn a quick trip into a full day out. From casual bites to more upscale dining, everything feels thoughtfully selected and consistently high quality. Parking--something that can make or break a shopping experience--is refreshingly easy here. There are multiple garages and plenty of spaces, which is a huge plus, especially for a destination this popular. You never feel like you're fighting just to get in the door. The entire mall is beautifully designed, clean, and well-maintained, with a modern, open feel that makes walking around enjoyable. There's also an upscale, energetic vibe that makes every visit feel a little special--whether you're shopping, dining, or simply strolling. This is, without a doubt, my go-to mall in South Florida. I absolutely love coming here--it never disappoints. If you're looking for variety, luxury, convenience, and a polished shopping experience all in one place, Aventura Mall delivers every single time.

I've been coming here since the days when Howard Austin Feld had his shop here, when you could still park on the street and the crowd felt more local than curated. Back then, it was quirky galleries, mom-and-pop shops, and artists setting up easels by the fountains. History matters here. Originally designed in the 1910s by Carl Fisher (the same guy who basically invented Miami Beach), it was later reimagined in the 1950s by Morris Lapidus, the legendary architect behind the Fontainebleau. He turned Lincoln Road into a pedestrian mall--a radical idea at the time--that gave Miami Beach its own open-air Broadway. For decades, it was where retirees fed pigeons, musicians played for tips, and snowbirds people-watched under the palms. Today? It's glossier. Trendy flagship stores, outdoor cafés charging $9 for a latte, and enough selfie sticks to arm a small militia. The pigeons have been replaced by pickup artists--guys working the crowd like it's spring break year-round, angling for phone numbers from beautiful women in sundresses. Depending on your vibe, it's either comedy gold or background noise. But here's the truth: Lincoln Road is still Lincoln Road. The fountains still splash, the architecture still hums with mid-century glamour, and the people-watching is world-class. From models strutting past with shopping bags to a family of tourists melting under the Miami sun, this strip remains Miami Beach's beating heart.

There's a lot of potential to be an even greater destination spot and lots of events and activities. Live music is often played on the weekends. Excellent variety and options for food and desserts along with shops and stores and even art galleries! Most parts of Lincoln Mall are clean and almost every restaurant will offer outdoor seating while providing great service. Great destination with easy parking around and overall spot for dining, shopping and leisure and perfect to relax and people watch. Great mix of high end stores and regular boutique stores to cater to every person.

The mall is close to a Sole Mia, a future mixed use development with residential housing, a hotel, and a university campus. Publix, ULTA, and Petco are the anchor stores at Biscayne Commons. My friend and I came to the shopping plaza for the pop up shop Max'd Out Donuts by Miami's donut king, Max Santiago. Santiago is known for his time at the Salty Donut where he created the famous brioche dough and for opening Batch, the Cookie company in Ft. Lauderdale. He has consulted on opening donut shops all around the world. Until the permanent store opens in Biscayne Commons, you can follow Max'd Out Donuts on Instagram to order boxes which can be picked up in front of the soon to be opened store. This was my first time visiting this shopping plaza and it seemed upscale and well kept. There is a fountain near where the donut store will be. There is a nice mixture of the kinds of stores people need, along with services, and dining. Parking is easy and plentiful. I'm sure once Max'd Out Donuts opens, I'll be stopping by whenever I am in the area.
