I've always considered doing a lash lift. My eyelashes are not the best. I have to put on so much mascara and use curler so many times to get the tiniest curl. Finally went to get it done and I am glad I did. It's been so nice having them curled and only putting on one coat of mascara. I decided to do an eyebrow lamination as well. I figured since I have thick eyebrows I wasn't really going to notice a difference but wow! It makes a huge difference. There was a nice heated bed, a pillow so my legs didn't cramp, soft lighting, and music as well. The whole room had a great vibe and I found the entire experience very relaxing. I got a lift and tint combo and am seriously happy I decided to try it out. My only regret is that I didn't take a before photo!! I knew the Brazilian would be torture, but Steph made it as painless as possible! I made an appointment for a facial wax. When I got there, I was told that their wax person wasn't there and someone else would take care of me. The wax was too hot, it burned my face, not severely, but it took a week to heal. I complained to them and sent pictures. No response. No apology. Not a good business model. Booked a facial for my wife and she had the worst experience possible. Catie showed up extremely late to the appointment and rushed my wife's facial. My wife had noted that when she finally was seen that the sheets were stained and had hair underneath the top layer and were slightly damp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]At the checkout process, she was just gossiping and giggling with another associate who she tried to get my wife to rebook with her name was Ashley.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were extremely pushy and trying to force my wife into a membership and buy products that Catie did not discuss with my wife at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ashley made her feel insecure by telling her that her skin was in her words "terrible condition".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I booked the appointment as a surprise for her based off of recommendations. But I do not recommend. Midtown beauty is dirty and smelled like a gym locker room. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My wife left in tears for how she was mistreated and felt that her time wasn't valued there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Don't book any services here for yourself or for your wives. Catie is unprofessional and does not welcome new clients. We aren't from around here and are new to the area and Catie left a nasty impression on us both, I was hoping for a better outcome to recommend to my buddies and all their wives.
