My most recent visit will be my last. $100 for an oil change. I knew my brakes were about ready for replacement but no mention. Had a headlight out and no mention. When I asked for the inspection report I was told it would be emailed to me which I have yet to receive. Last visit they put incorrect mileage on my sticker for my next visit and I tried to call multiple times to find out what mileage I needed my next change at. Left a message on the voicemail of the service manager and never got a return call. This place has really gone downhill. read more

I own a 2022 Kia SUV (from Midtown Kia) so naturally I wanted to love the Midtown Kia Service Center. However, the service is average at best. There are some pros like free water/coffee while you wait and comfortable seating but this should be standard at any service center. I've been to the service center for an oil change a handful of times, and each time I've been unimpressed with the service. My oil change has taken anywhere from 2 hours-2.5 hours which seems excessive. I realize that they are busy since it's a dealership service center but this is extremely inconvenient. The staff at the service center are nice enough but are constantly asking for reviews from customers. Additionally, I have asked if they could fill up my tires with air (supposed to be complimentary) each time and they have said they will and then failed to do so each time. If the Midtown Kia service center is convenient for you then it's fine to go to but I will no longer be going out of my way to take my Kia vehicle there. read more

I would give a rating on NEGATIVE 4 for service if at all possible!! Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. Sales service was good when we bought the vehicle. We paid for a hitch to be installed at a later date. 6 different trips, them installing the wrong hitch and letting me drive home with the wrong one, knowing it didn't fit right and not able to apply the plastic casing. Joe the service manager stated, "I'll take care of you. I'll personally contact the owners to let them know about this ordeal. I don't know how I was not involved in this mishap. Here's my card. I'll call when I get it all figured out." Unfortunately, no call from Joe, no discount, no change!!! Finally got CORRECT hitch installed. Fast forward to next terrible experience in service department. Call 8 times within 2 weeks to schedule oil change, service and recall service. I missed 1 phone call from them. I then attempted to make online reservation/appointment. NOTHING! I had to drive to the dealership where 1 young guy was working his tail off to help all 3 of us disgruntled patrons. I am now taking my vehicle to BA Kia. I would give a rating on -4 for service if at all possible!! read more

I had my engine replaced by Midtown. KIA corporate says that the flat rate for my Optima 2.0 Turbo is 7 hours. Midtown is saying it is currently at 22 hours and they still are working on it. That is over 3 time longer than what Midtown says... and the service desk said that KIA corporate is wrong. I also left a message for the owner Mike Sullivan, but have not heard back from him. This has been the WORST experience with a service department for dealership of my entire life. I was never kept informed on anything. I had to call my service adviser - Larry- to get any information. He rarely would pick up when I called his number. If I called the operator and asked for service- he would answer. Even then, he would put me on hold and ask his boss what to tell me. They had my car for nearly 4 weeks and were unable to determine the problem. The main reason being no one actually looked at my car. I was continuously promised- "we will get a technician on it tomorrow- as soon as possible". This never happened. Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever! The only person who was nice to me was Isiah, the young man who took me home after I dropped off my car. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I bought the car at Ferguson KIA and am taking the car to their service department. read more

Warning - they are horrible - my car-buying turned into the high-pressure negative experience I wanted to avoid. First trip in, our salesperson was great, but the sales manager, Jeremy, got involved and tried a bunch of high-pressure closes ("what's it gonna take to get your business today?"). He was a bully. He said he would match any other dealer's price - i showed him the same car, cheaper, in Little Rock, but they would not match it. We left, but later made an appointment to come in and buy the car. I got a 1-way ride to Tulsa, 250 miles from my hometown. Jeremy again got involved and began his condescending crap. Things went sour - Just sell me the car and let me leave! - As i was waiting on the final paperwork, Jeremy approached and said "We will throw in floormats if you give us a 5-star Google rating" - "No Way!" - I said. He said "We are not going to sell you the car, then!" and stormed off - I was stranded without a ride home in Tulsa! He was an absolute jerk. read more

TL;DR: There's a reason car salesmen are considered the least ethical and trustworthy "profession" in the US, even below Congress, which is pretty astounding. In this regard, Midtown Kia is the epitome of the "Used Car Salesman." This is a systemic issue within Midtown Kia, which only became apparent to me today when their Business Development Director, Stephen Libera, confirmed their 'humiliation' sales tactics are a non-issue. Stephen did not state this outright but he defended everything that JD did while my wife and I spent 3 hours trying to get JD to let us pick the vehicle we wanted to finance. For more information, read below: ******* Full Experience: Their website has a button that says "Save 1.5 hours," so we did that. We put in the personal information, etc. We only did this because we knew our credit score wasn't great and didn't want to spend all day finding a car only to find out that no one can help finance our purchase. The lady that emailed and called - Barbara - was very pleasant and helpful, but left at 5pm so she told us to go talk to Adam & Steve because they were handling our app. We showed up and asked for one of those 2. So a guy by the name of "Chuy" goes and grabs a guy named JD and the fun begins. We later found out that Adam was there the whole time but that's where the "we do what we want" mentality started. Anyway, we tell JD we already spoke with someone and the app had been approved and that we were looking into a used vehicle and one of them was supposed to be lined up for us. So JD tells us he has to redo all the credit information because "you used the wrong system and they don't connect," which is odd because it was their website. After the credit info, he says he can only get us into a new car because this ONE car has 'x' rebates and the down payment we had (which was 20% of the price of the vehicle we wanted to look at) wasn't enough. He then told us how he couldn't believe that our credit report was so high and that it should be [redacted] based on what HE sees in the report and then very loudly starts listing off specific pieces of our credit report where others can here, which is not only unprofessional but likely a violation of several FTC privacy rules. We entertain his kettling us into this one, specific, new car while denying us the opportunity to look into another one because it was 2k more than the other. lol We didn't like the terms so we started to walk out and then miraculously, JD is now able to get us approved for a used car. But do we get to walk the lot and select one? Nope. He tells us which one he can get us approved for. A 2013 Soul with 72k miles and major body damage to the hood, scratches everywhere and in pretty rough shape. He wanted 11k for that car. KBB listed the car @7.5k in 'good' condition. We told him the car isn't worth that amount and that we wanted to look at something else so he asked us if KBB sells cars - which is nothing more than a rebuttal. . . as if NADA sells cars - and then says no one uses KBB because it's wrong, etc. He's wrong. But then miraculously was able to bring a formal printout of KBB price, which showed nearly 1k less but then ya' look at the bottom and the price was for a vehicle in 'Excellent' condition, which was simply not the case. At this point, 5 workers surrounded me, all of them throwing rebuttal after rebuttal at me, trying to tell me I'm wrong about the worth of that previously-wrecked vehicle, etc. I left and the sales rebuttals didn't stop because Stephen - attempting to play good cop - emailed me wanting to make things better, but then just confirmed that the tactics used weren't a concern to him and that I should come into the lot so he can "explain how things work." I know how things work and for anyone looking to get a car - used or new - I would suggest passing these people up because the BizDev Director is in on their unethical behavior. Do not trust getting good honest service here!! We bought a Sportage here and suddenly there was a thumping sound in the rear end. We took it in and spent $1000 for 4 new tires and the thumping sound fixed. In less than 2 weeks the sound was back. After taking it in several times they finally heard the thumping sound along with a newly developed squeek. Now they wanted the charge us $650 that they "think" will fix it this time. NO WAY are we going to become their money pit. We started to ask them to put the old parts back in it and give us our first $600 that didn't fix their guessing game. read more

Not only was my car not put all the way back together, there are pieces missing. And apparently the owner is an invisible man with no phone number. Then Michael in the service department thought it would be appropriate to blame the tow company. Then tried to call another mechanic place a "back yard" mechanic. I've never heard a more unprofessional comment about a certified mechanic place, a company that is also fairly known in the area for great work. The customer satisfaction things they said they did, aren't done. Like the chrome being replaced. Or the screws on the inside of the car that are showing, I was told they have something to cover them, not there. They also refused and continue to not give a detailed statement of what exactly they did. So bascially I took in a whole put together with 1 issue. Now I have a car with missing parts, not all the way put together parts and none of the customer scarification things done. read more

Bought a '16 Kia Sorento. (not even a month ago.) Our sales guy was amazing & answered all questions. The finance dept. is a whole different ball game. They told us we had been approved by Kia Financing. Long story short, we signed all required documents & drove off the lot feeling like a million bucks. Everything was good! We were happy with the car, happy with our payment, interest rate etc. We actually thought "Wow, that was nice." A few days later, I had a missed call/voicemail from their finance manager (His name is Greg) telling me that I needed to come back in & sign a "few" more pieces of paper that we missed when we initially signed paperwork but that everything was fine. I called him back, he basically told me the same thing & for my inconvenience that they would fill up my tank (which they did.) I thought, "how nice..a free tank of gas for just going back & signing a few pieces of paper." I explained everything to my husband & we drove to the dealership under the impression that everything was fine & we just had to sign a few more things in regards to our existing contract. That was not that case at all. Everything was not fine...we were about to get f**ked. After we had already signed our contract, the Kia Financing Dept. "denied" us (after we were told we had been approved...after we drove home in the car) SO, they got us re-approved through Capital one....without our knowledge that anything had happened or that anything had changed. So, we sit down & the finance manager starts explaining that Kia denied us but he got us refinanced through another company (Capital One), Which would have been fine had everything we agreed to stayed the same. Everything changed. Our payment, rate, contract, etc. Not to mention, our credit was hit with 5-8 different hard inquires through random finance companies. Is that how it works because it actually looks really bad on my credit. UGH! So, completely blindsided & in shock, stuck in "WTF just happened" mode...we signed a new contract. Geez, where was our attorney on that one? A legal, binding contract had already been signed. Yet, we were stupid enough to sign a new one? We both felt bombarded. Our fault there but you can bet your a** that will never happen again. I love my car...that's not the issue. The issue is we were lied to, & lead back to Midtown Kia under false pretenses, instead of just being told the truth via the telephone conversation that I had with the Finance Manager. We were completely slapped in the face. We left the dealership the 2nd time feeling like dog-sh*t, ran over 3 times by a Mack Truck. NOW...mind you..I drove my car off the lot with 10 miles on it. Yesterday, while getting ready to leave work, I go to start my BRAND NEW car and it won't turn over...made a horrid sound, almost like the battery was dead? Second time it's happened since we purchased the vehicle A MONTH AGO. Seriously!! I left no lights on, I even turn the AC off every time I turn the car off. just as a precautionary (I don't even know if that matters) but I know it was nothing that was caused by me. This morning I called their Service Department & spoke to someone named Wayne. He seemed to be very polite, rushed but also concerned about the issue I was having. I scheduled an appointment for 11am today to see what the problem is. They told me that the battery could have leaked from the car sitting before we bought it.So, about our service experience today...I took my car in at 11am like planned. They told me they were going to check it out & would let me know. I waited in the waiting area & was greeted several times by several different people (all who were very polite & friendly) The service tech came to me & told me that it he was 100% sure it was battery & they were going to overnight a new one for me if I wanted to come in tomorrow to have it replaced. I told him that was fine. Approximately 10 minutes later, he came back & told me that they could not overnight a battery due to the chemicals in the battery & they didn't have a new one in stock so on to "Plan B" as he called it. His plan B was taking a battery out of another new car on the lot & putting it in my car. I asked him if this battery would be new/good. He said, "yes 100%." My only concern i..the first service tech told me the battery was possibly bad from sitting in a car, on the lot..yet they gave me a battery (out of another car that was sitting on the lot) Logical? I think not. I somehow, again feel like I just got f**ked. Why did they fail to tell me on the phone this morning when I called that they had no battery in stock? They then, didn't give me my paperwork. The service tech told me he was going to finish up my paperwork & then would send me a copy in the mail for my personal file. Granted, the service tech that helped me was very nice & polite but something isn't right about this place. It also took them an hour & 15 minutes to complete the testing/changing of batteries. read more
