Just went for an event last night and I was highly impressed by the facility and especially the staff. Warm colors and a homey, comfortable feel were wonderfully inviting to this studio. So let me preface this by saying the last massage I had was two years ago at a small chain in Southern California that just gave cookie cutter massages and I left with my whole mid-back visibly bruised. Coming here was a total treat! Kristina was amazing and far from cookie cutter. She made it a point to tailor the massage around what she felt needed most attention as she massaged and it paid off! She took my previous experiences with massages and not only explained how it should properly be done, but also encouraged me to give her feedback throughout the massage. At the beginning of my appointment she asked me what I wanted to focus on and I told her 'I bike to and from a desk job' and she gave an understanding nod and response and then managed to massage every area of soreness and tension that's been bothering me for weeks but that I wouldn't have expected to be massaged without specifically requesting in a normal 60-minute massage! She took care of my hands, feet, ankles, calves, and even got to muscles in my shoulders and forearms I didn't even know were tense! I'll be going back to work tomorrow ready to conquer the phone and keyboard again and am looking forward to making this a monthly occurrence! read more

So, this popped up during the week as a local business suggestion and of course we had to go and check them out. I logged on to their site and looked around and was fairly pleased. With the MR. being the picky person that he is I thought he would freak out because it was a very small local business....but he didn't. The inside of this location is super nice - do NOT let the exterior deter you. This was a much needed Friday date night after moving. I like that you were able to choose your therapist when booking online. I chose Ashley for him and Kat for myself. We were both pleased but would have preferred more back rubbing than shoulder.
