Upon moving to NYC, I found Dr. Pacia through referrals and I am beyond pleased. He took his time to listen and really got to personally know and understand my condition. He was friendly, sincere, extremely intelligent and you can tell right off the bat that he's been around the block a few times. He knows his stuff. The receptionist, or his personal appointment lady Misty, is great. Very accommodating and on her game.

Dr. Iones followed up to make sure that I was seeing a doctor for an issue that appeared on the mri. Previous experience in-person with the staff has been abysmal because they are rude and hostile. Basically every other review points this out too. It's a shame cause Dr. Mohen is great but it's literally impossible to reach her. I guess I am not her patient anymore because it's impossible to schedule an appointment. He arranged for me to get an MRI that same day and I got a CD of my results from the imaging center. There is a lot of waiting, so you will have to take the day off to see him. If you need to call the office, you'll have to wait until after 12pm, after the recipionist arrives. Dr. Zhang himself usually gets there after 12:30pm (he's elsewhere in the mornings).

From the very first visit, he took my concerns seriously--even when I wasn't sure they were valid myself. He listened carefully, examined me thoroughly, and clearly cared about finding the root cause. He ordered the appropriate tests, explained everything in a way I could understand, and reassured me that we would figure things out together. Because he works with NYU Langone, I was able to get imaging scheduled very quickly. At every follow-up, he was thoughtful, thorough, and proactive, even personally helping me get an urgent neurosurgeon referral when it was necessary. Thanks to Dr. Rosenthal's diligence and compassion, I had a successful surgery and have been given a new lease on life. I truly believe that if it weren't for him taking my case seriously, I could be in a much worse situation. I feel incredibly grateful to have him as my neurologist and highly recommend him. Same deal as the other reviewer. Will be seeing a different doctor and office who tries a little harder to make things work. I mean if you can't even figure out insurance, how will you figure out neurology?
