The upholstery on the top started coming down as soon as the humidity started in the spring. There were water leaks that caused the floor board to be soaked every time it rained. An expensive module needed to be replaced within a few weeks of purchasing. Someone asked if we had purchased their extended warranty and were shocked that it hadn't been offered. Pretty sure we know why it wasn't offered. Was interesting experience and it taught us to shop elsewhere.

After that I spent 15+ years as a consultant to the automotive industry and several more in the automotive aftermarket. In other words, I know my way around a dealership(or at least I think I do) The front end: All of the same salespeople, Finance, and General Manager. This place is no revolving door, it's obvious that they listen to their employees. Everything starts at the top, and Todd Tumminia is always in a good mood. During the Pandemic, his lot was virtually empty and he said new cars were coming in a trickle and used cars were nonexistent, his lot showed that. His attitude was "All in good time" Back in my days in the business, I would've needed a heart transplant. You can't sell it if you don't have it" was our motto. So I'd say he's pretty easy to work for. The service department is very proficient, they have everything covered. I get right in and right out, never any excuses. The service manager carries his small dog around in a satchel, which I think is great. I'm sure they're both the better for it. Then, there's Sonny. Sonny Tumminia is four legged family and he's in charge of greeting customers, and he loves children. The attitude is decidedly casual, as it should be. As somebody with a lot of experience, I very much appreciate that. And hopefully, you do too.

I requested an oil change and tire rotation as it had been 5,000 miles since the last time I had…read morethose services performed. Automan/Autoplaza called AFTER they had performed the tire rotation and questioned my logic in performing this service multiple times. Then, he said that the tires were worn out and he just couldn't figure out why, but maybe it was out of alignment. The tires had 42,100 miles on them, and they are rated at 45,000 miles - original equipment on the 2016 vehicle. Rotation at 5,000 miles is standard and recommended by Nissan. So, a repair shop worthy of my continued business would have stopped the rotation when taking the first tire off the car, prepared a quick quote of 2-3 tire options and called me to say that they thought it needed tires and perhaps I would consider that rather than the rotation. Not this guy. Charged $45 for a tire rotation he couldn't rationalize. Was bewildered how my tires may be worn out. Suggested there was something wrong with the car, but offered no evidence to that end. Didn't bother to spec out replacement tires for me (even after I asked him to do so and gave 45 minutes before I came to pick up the car.) Services were pricey - my car takes synthetic oil, but they charged over $27 more for this service than my previous mechanic. The dealer where my wife gets her car serviced does a synthetic change including tire rotation, multipoint inspection, and fluid top-off for about the same price I was charged just for the LOF at Automan/Autoplaza. The scratches on my door will buff out, I'm pretty sure. And, I did contact through the "contact us" option on their website and have received no response.

After taking my car to a different shop this time, I realized they didn't do things that were supposed to be done when replacing an ignition. I don't think they set me up for success when I used this shop. I know someone else who has also used them multiple times for motor issues and continue to have problems after investing a lot off money into this shop. The people are friendly but seems like they aren't precise in the work they do, especially when this work is a lot of money out of pocket.

I was stranded on the side of the road about thirty miles from Independence Missouri. My insurance Company notified a towing company who had the vehicle towed to Robertson GMC. The dealer ship was concerned that my family was stranded so they sent a man named Ray with his SUV and picked up myself, the dog and my three boys and took us to the Bass Pro shop in Independence Mo to wait for my father to drive from Tulsa to Independence to get us and take us to Tulsa while we waited for our Yukon to be repaired. Since it happened on a weekend the repair could not begin until Monday. I have to acknowledge Chris the assistant service manager who came in on his day off to sort out the details of repairing the vehicle so they could hit the ground running Monday morning. Now that's customer service. The assistance and caring attitude of this dealership sets the standard for customer service. I would like to thank Mike Robinson for setting the cultural climate of excellence, compassion and unity that this dealership operates in. The cohesiveness and team work I experienced by those employed there is a rare commodity these days. I want to publicly recognize Robbie Brook Service manager, Chris Assistant Service manager, General Manager Tim who called Ray to transport us to Independence and Roy Gates who drove us. Chris kept me informed about the progress of getting a new transmission installed and working with the warranty personnel. To say the process went smoothly would be an understatement. The process was flawless and the new transmission was installed in an expedient manner. I also want to thank the mechanics who installed the transmission for their expertise and knowledge. Your excellence in service is commendable. I picked up my Yukon Wedensday and drove it back to Minnesota. I am happy to say we have had no issues with as of today 3 April 2026. Well don't change it if it's working! My personal customer service specialist, Blake is always on top of things. I can text him and responds promptly. I showed up for my scheduled appointment and Kathy is the early bird to get me out the door in my preferred loaner. I even needed to change loaners again and Matt helped with that! And I always make a trip to the lounge. It truly is a lounge. Drinks, snacks, tabletops/cjdurs and luxury sofa seats. Don't mind if I do.. juice, tea and water to go! Thank you!
