She seemed to be convinced that they were the only thing that would work. I am not convinced. I refused. Once I cut out the foods that I tested positive for allergy-wise, my eczema has gotten light years better. Steroid free. I would have enjoyed my experience more here if she would have listened to me and maybe given me some other options. After all, I paid $255, right? But, ultimately, what I went in for was to get the little scrape-y test done. And I did. And it helped. So that is good.

She was unable to diagnose my non-allergic rhinitis (even after doing her assistant did allergy…read moretesting that turned up negative) and gave me the wrong kind of nose-spray for my condition. She seems like a nice person but I'm unsure as to why doctors in the area recommend her. She gave me no answers even after I complained of chronic sinus infections. I also had to have my immunology testing done at Mayo Clinic, as she felt it wasn't necessary. It absolutely was, given that some of the results showed an issue. I also want to mention that she does make you wait quite awhile to see her. If you're getting allergy testing done by her assistant, she'll see other patients in between. I believe I was at her office for 2 hours.

She did not give two Sheets for what she did to screw me over. I used to be fit, tiny, exercised all the time. Fast forward to - Post hip replacement. I'm Effed! I NEVER had the issues prior to hip replacement that I have now. NONE! Immediately after surgery I knew something was wrong. And I TOLD her so! I am a 5'4" 110 lb woman who has always been healthy and fit. Now? Now, I can barely run a mile or let's be serious, put on my socks or underwear without pain lifting that leg she operated on. Post-op, all she did is repeat ad nauseum that I need to "heal." I am 47!!! I am FIT and HEalthy! No health issues. She undermined me and treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. My life has never been the same. That was 2019. Fast forward to 2025. Still curse her name for dismissing me everytime I came back hoping for post-care and answers. She actually tried to sell me PRP which was going to cost me MORE money out of pocket that insurance won't cover and has an extremely low success rate. Never would have fixed the issue she caused which is called, IMPINGEMENT OF THE ILEOPSOAS TENDON! Several doctors later diagnosed me. Again, if you go to her and your surgery is a slam dunk, well her ego is satisfied and she is a "good surgeon." But, ask yourself this, what happens when surgery "isn't, a slam dunk?" What then? Medicine is a practice after all, which is why they call it that. What IF IT DOESN'T go as planned? IS SHE the surgeon you want? READ THE REVIEWS! ALL OF THEM! The reviews that are favorable are the ones who's surgeries went well. When they didn't (and let's be clear, not all will go perfectly), how did she and her team treat you? What solutions were offered? Was there ANY ACCOUNTABILITY? And I mean ANY? What about the kindness!? NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate my life now. And it's because of her. I could have gone to anyone!!!! She is full of herself and only wants a patient she can handle. She NEVER tried to call me or check back on Anything! NOTHING! I was dealing with some unbearable sciatica pain and overall back stiffness. Dr. B examined and helped me understand the roots of my pains quickly and provided the immediate adjustments I need to relieve at least 60% of my pain and stiffness in one session. Weekdays are pretty slammed for me so his emergency availability on the weekend made all the difference for me getting back to normal activities this week.

I had gotten PT on the East Coast, and it mainly involved 5 minutes of them doing some half-hearted manipulation and then making me do reps on some machines. Karen went WAY beyond. I am an aging jock, and had a chronic injury that had resulted from a chronically tight hip. In a few sessions she has gotten my hip moving in ways it hasn't in more than a decade. And the range of motion just keeps improving. I love that she spends the whole hour with me, is very personable, and just a nice person, along with being very knowledgeable and skilled. I took my daughter to have an initial examination with this doctor I was in the room due to my daughter being so nervous and anxious This doctor was inadequate and didn't do a good job at all. Then when I asked at front if she was going to order any labs or update my daughter vaccinations the front person said she didn't ordered anything and that she needed to come back for a initial examination bc she was going to do that next appt. What?!! Right?! I was very disappointed of how she handled the exam like downplaying any concerns my daughter had. Saying that a test such an an MRI was too expensive to do etc I really wanted my daughter to have a good experience but it didn't happened. She treated her poorly and made assumptions about her when my daughter came in with PPO insurance. It was discriminatory and bias at least. So dissatisfied and disappointed and people such as these should not become physicians. I booked another appt for my daughter with another doctor there who did my exam and who was a profesional. I have never used Virginia mason and now that I have, I will tell everyone to go there !! Before my surgery they implanted a pump that would act as a nerve block to my shoulder and arm after surgery to reduce the amount of pain I'd experience and reduce the medicine I would need to take. You don't feel the line being inserted cause your sedated. It was so relaxing and stress free. After surgery I was explained everything. My mom was my ride and she had everything with her. I'm at day 5 after surgery and the pain is no where near where it would have been without the pump. I mean it is sore. But don't need alot of pills. I'm relaxing for sure. I recommend dr Kieras to everyone ! Found out he did my friends surgery as well ! How awesome.

My husband and I found Dr Raisis to be very friendly, respectful and great bedside manner. I am very, very picky about who my doctors are, and I immediately felt very comfortable with Dr Raisis. In the recovery room I heard staff talking about him, and they had nothing but good things to say about him. In my book, if medical staff speaks highly of a doctor, that is who I'm going too see! Dr Pritchett made a good choice!! Two wonderful doctors, and this morning, I'm sore but no real pain!! I was told to expect lots of pain post op...doesn't seem to be happening! And I credited those two doctors and the great staff at Swedish Ortho Insitiute!!

I don't live in Seattle anymore so this review is rather overdue, but I am currently reviewing my…read morerecords from Dr. Raisis and his colleague Dr. Steege, which reminded me I wanted to review them here. Dr. Raisis in particular was completely disinterested in my case; he was never receptive to anecdotes that would help explain my symptoms (in fact, he outright said he had never seen my particular issue in his career, when in fact it is a fairly common issue and relatively easy to see on diagnostic images, according to information I've gathered and surgeons I've met in the meantime). For a few years I defended him, saying that while his bedside manner was terrible, he was a good "mechanic." That changed when I was diagnosed and treated for a rare infection that Dr. Raisis had neglected to warn me was a possibility of the last surgery he had done on me. In fact, Dr. Steege had seen me while I was trying to get a diagnosis, and he correctly guessed what was wrong but dismissed me saying that couldn't be the case. By the time my infection was diagnosed, there was an imminent threat of kidney failure (yes, stemming from a neuro issue!). I would not recommend Dr. Raisis or his colleague Dr. Steege. Terrible customer service, and negligent doctors with little interest in cases they do not find compelling.
