The produce is okay, but more times than not, you'll see well past their due for the trash berries on the shelves. The food variety for more healthy items that you would find at other stores isn't always available here but that is to be expected. Of the items they carry, they are normally well stocked. The staff are very friendly that work here! The reason for the 3 stars is the grocery pick up is somewhat hit or miss. Many occasions, I will get orders with items that sell by dates are the day I'm picking them up or even expired items. Additionally, items are placed as "out of stock" on the pickup list, but then not even tried to be substituted. The next issue isn't this locations fault but the chat system with shoppers is very difficult to use for communication. Some shoppers will use the app to ask about substitutions, while others do not. The store is very clean and well maintained. I believe if the issues with pickup could be remedied, this store could definitely hit at least 4 stars!

I went back out into the parking lot near where I parked and grabbed the only two carts that were in the staging area--one for me and one for her. When using the self check-out, (so I can double bag) Every Single Time for the Past TWO YEARS, whenever I buy Any Other Fruit Other Than Bananas, the scanner fails and I "need" assistance. When I asked the employee about this after the scanner Failed a Second Time, he told me that I am taking too much time between scanning and putting the stuff into the bag--which is utter garbage. One of the items that failed was grapes--which I have learned to expect--and just for fun, when I got home, I realized that when HE "fixed" the scanner, I was Charged Twice. There is No Way to know how many times this has happened--or how often it happens to everyone. Their scanners constantly fail, they always run out of carts, and usually, the people at the door are more interested in standing in the way and staring at their phones than getting carts or "assisting" customers who "need" it. Do They Expect Us to Carry All That Crap On Our Heads? What has Happened to the Food Lion on Peters Creek Parkway? Are they not paying their employees enough, so they have simply given up?
